I had lunch at "Osushinokadoya" in Abeno Lucias B1. The seating is spacious with tatami and table seats available. I had a sushi set meal (1,500 yen including tax) which included 7 pieces of nigiri sushi (tuna, yellowtail, salmon, sea bream, whelk, octopus, squid), 2 pieces of hosomaki, a small side dish (egg tofu), tempura with 5 varieties (shrimp, eggplant, shiitake mushroom, white fish, lotus root), and red miso soup. The weekend and holiday limited lunch includes 9 pieces of sushi, 5 types of tempura, and red miso soup, making it a reasonable option. The sushi rice was fluffy and the fish was fresh. The tempura was crispy and delicious. I also ordered individual pieces of sushi that were not included in the lunch set, which were reasonably priced starting from 1 piece.

In August of the 5th year of Reiwa, during lunchtime (12:00-14:30), there is a sushi set meal for 1500 yen, which includes 7 pieces of nigiri, 2 pieces of maki, a side dish, 5 pieces of tempura, and red miso soup. However, the quality is honestly not great. It's a new store, so some delays in service are understandable, but I hope the staff can avoid giving each other instructions in places where customers can hear.

Famous for operating "Gosaku-don" loved by Hanshin Tigers fans, Food Monogatari Co., Ltd. opened a sushi and tempura restaurant in the basement of Abeno Lucias. I had been looking forward to this opening, so I visited with high expectations. The energetic customer service from the Anmika-like female staff and the enthusiastic attitude of the manager-like guy at the counter were pleasant. I ordered a chu-hi and tekka maki. The appetizer was dried daikon radish. The staff, who were still inexperienced due to the recent opening, made several mistakes, but it was understandable. The Anmika-like sister was skillfully directing the inexperienced part-time staff and pointing out delays in the orders to the kitchen. She was a great leader. There was a mistake at another table where wasabi-less sushi was served with wasabi. What's going on with the counter chef's careless mistake? The tekka maki finally arrived 10 minutes after the chu-hi. It was only half the size I imagined, but with less vinegar rice, the tuna looked big and tasted delicious. However, in terms of being a good drink pairing, the cost performance was not high. At a competing restaurant, you could get a sashimi platter for the same price. Just judging by this would be harsh, so I ordered an additional 3 types of nigiri. Perhaps because they also serve fried food, the kitchen seemed to be backed up with orders. It was clear even to an amateur that they were struggling to handle the orders. I wonder if there was no support from staff at their affiliated stores for the opening. I waited 15 minutes for the additional nigiri sushi, but it didn't arrive, so I left my seat and was served with "Sorry for the wait!" with a dish I didn't order. It was disappointing that they couldn't manage the orders properly. Since I was running out of time, I asked for the bill. It was a little over 1800 yen, but the appetizer cost more than the chu-hi! The taste was good, but the cost performance of the dishes was low and the service was slow. The staff were trying their best with a smile, but with this kind of service, they might have a tough time in the highly competitive area of Lucias basement...
