Renewed open from 11/10, the popular yakiniku restaurant "Shinniku Yakiya" near Juso Station, just a 5-minute walk away, is going against the trend of price increases by setting their prices at a more affordable range. With a budget of around 3000-4000 yen, for the first week, all drinks are priced at just 90 yen each! Plus, all items, including those made with A5 Wagyu beef, are priced below 1000 yen before tax, which is an incredible deal. Even the affiliated store in Noda was surprised by the lower prices at the Juso location. The thick-cut tongue comparison set, generously featuring both beef and pork tongue, is a luxurious treat. The beef tongue, with just the right amount of marbling, is unbelievably delicious at this price point. The Yukhoe (Korean-style steak tartare) with meat and egg yolk shining is also highly recommended. Other items like the A5 Wagyu beef ribs for 680 yen and the sizzling hot Yukhoe Jjigae are not only affordable but also provide a satisfaction that exceeds their price. Especially during the first week, the deals are even better, with draft beer available for just 190 yen at all times. This restaurant is quite wallet-friendly and offers a great dining experience. I finished my errands at thirteen and decided to have a solo drink. I wanted to eat yakiniku after a long time, so I came to this restaurant. I love horumon, especially teppan. This place seems to offer affordable prices, so I visited right after they opened. There was already a line forming before opening, but I was able to get in right away. I ordered their specialty A5 kalbi and thick-cut tongue for comparison, as well as teppan and toro horumon. The thick-cut tongue was exactly as described, with both pork and beef tongue. When I asked about the toro horumon, I was told it was from the small intestine. By filling out a survey, I got a free drink. By registering on LINE, I got the A5 thinly sliced kalbi at a discounted price. The teppan was rich and delicious, I couldn't help but order more. I ordered a draft beer, highball, and lemon shochu highball for drinks. The draft beer and highball were only 190 yen each, which was very affordable. Despite eating and drinking quite a bit, the total bill was around 4800 yen. If you go for a light meal and drinks, you could probably stay in the 2000 yen range. When I asked the staff if it was okay to post a review on Tabelog, they enthusiastically agreed. The meat and drinks were delicious, and I left very satisfied. I would definitely consider revisiting. The draft beer and lemon sour are cheap. It's great value for those who want to drink a lot. The meat wasn't exceptionally delicious, but it was decent. It's a shame there's only one type of sauce provided. Personally, I enjoyed the dish in the photo and the stone bibimbap.

I visited a popular yakiniku restaurant in Juso in September 2023! It's right across from Toyoko Inn, so it was easy to find. The menu outside advertised "Draft beer for 190 yen," "Highball for 180 yen," and "A5 Wagyu beef from 480 yen," which was very reasonably priced as expected. The restaurant was full, so it was a good idea to make a reservation in advance! The round chairs also serve as storage for belongings. The kimchi was the crunchy fresh kind that has been popular lately, and it was delicious. And the draft beer was only 190 yen for eternity! The thick-cut tongue was tender and tasty, and the meat was so good that we wanted more rice. The sauce wasn't too heavy, so we could eat as much as we wanted. The menu is not extensive, but they have all the essential items, so it's not a concern. We toasted with oolong tea and freshly squeezed sudachi highball. Due to various circumstances, we opted for non-alcoholic drinks tonight. - Rare steak yukhoe (880 yen): It's lightly seared, so you can enjoy the rareness. Eggs go really well with meat, right? - Fresh kimchi (528 yen): This kimchi is made with fresh cabbage mixed with kimchi sauce. The crispy texture and juiciness of the cabbage are great. I prefer it to regular kimchi. - Thick-cut tongue sampler (880 yen x 2): The beef tongue is crispy, while the pork tongue is moist and easy to eat with no strong flavor. - Fresh thick-cut liver (880 yen): The thick slices are firm and fresh, and you can taste the freshness just by looking at it. It was a good decision as the restaurant was full even on a weekday. By the time we left, there were people waiting outside. The restaurant is located near Juso Station West Exit, just across the pedestrian crossing on Route 176, towards Toyoko Inn. Menu: - Grilled dishes - Oolong tea & fresh squeezed sudachi I love fresh squeezed drinks, especially sudachi. It's so refreshing and delicious. - Fresh cabbage kimchi The cabbage is fresh and crunchy, it's a different kind of kimchi like a salad. - Rare steak yukhoe The rare steak yukhoe was delicious and very popular, as other tables were also ordering it. - Thick-cut tongue comparison This dish offers a comparison between pork and beef tongue, both of which were delicious. It's interesting. - Liver The liver is cooked thoroughly and the thick-cut tongue is also enjoyed well-done. - Kalbi The lean meat was delicious. The cost performance here is really good. - Finale Even the finale dish was full of meat. It was amazing. It was a great deal and delicious. We will definitely visit again.

On this day, I went to Juso. I was craving for yakiniku, so I decided to try out this restaurant that I had been curious about. I arrived at the restaurant at 5:30 PM. The restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk from Juso Station West Exit, across from Toyoko Inn. The restaurant used to focus on "meat" and "alcohol," but it seems like the restaurant has changed a bit? The interior of the restaurant mainly consists of table seats with gas roasters, and there are also about 4 counter seats. The casual design includes bucket-shaped chairs where you can store your belongings inside. Surprisingly, the restaurant is non-smoking, which is great for Juso (*´∀`)♪ I quenched my thirst with a shocking 190 yen (excluding tax) draft beer and ordered some items that caught my attention. The portion of meat is on the smaller side, but it's nice because you can try a variety of items (*´∀`)♪ It seems to be a very popular restaurant, as it was already full by 6:00 PM Σ(゚д゚lll) I recommend making a reservation even on weekdays. I ended up getting full this time and couldn't make it to the hormone dish, but I'd like to try it next time with a solo yakiniku experience (*≧艸≦) Thank you for the meal.<Food>Prices do not include tax◎Fresh Napa Cabbage Kimchi (480 yen) ... I immediately wanted some rice (*≧艸≦)◎Thick-cut Tongue Assortment (880 yen each) ... It's called Chateaubriand Tongue. The assortment in the photo is for two people, so I ordered two portions. The center is beef tongue, while the outer part is pork tongue. The beef tongue is thick-cut but easy to bite through due to the knife cuts. The pork tongue is light and tasty without a strong taste.○Fresh Thick-cut Liver (880 yen) ... It got stuck to the grill and got quite burnt when I tried to cook it (^◇^;) Fresh liver with a sharp edge.◎Just Right Wagyu Lean Meat (880 yen) ... A lean meat with a perfect balance of fat and lean meat (*´∀`)♪ This might be my favorite!◎Black Wagyu A5 Sirloin Steak (680 yen) ... It looks like it has a lot of marbling, but when cooked, it has the perfect amount of fat. Tender and delicious (*´Д`*)○Stone-grilled Kimpa (980 yen) ... Recommended by the staff as a Juso exclusive, so I ordered it. It takes about 15 minutes to prepare, so it's better to order it early. Mix the Kimpa with Yukhoe and egg yolk on top. I want to eat yakiniku after a long time~ ((꜆꜄ ˙꒳˙)꜆꜄꜆オラオラオラオラオラオラBut I went to Kyushu for a holiday and I don't have any plans ahead of me, so there's nothing to look forward to lol. In such times, a reliable place is the yakiniku Horumon izakaya "Shin Nikuyakiya" in Juso, known for its high cost performance. This place has prices without tax, but there are no items over 1000 yen, which is quite amazing. Beer is Asahi Super Dry for 190 yen! Highballs and lemon sours are also 180 yen, making it a very grateful place with thorough budget-friendly prices. I found this place on Instagram's Reel video and knew that reservations were required, so I made a call in advance before visiting. When you enter the store, it has a lively atmosphere like a Showa-era izakaya and is very bustling. First, cheers with a highball! Let's order the recommended menu items posted on the wall of the store one by one. - Rare steak yukhoe ¥880 - Fresh kimchi ¥480 - Thick-cut tongue comparison ¥880 x 2 - Fresh thick-cut liver ¥880 - Black Wagyu A5 Shin Nikuyakiya kalbi ¥680 x 2 - Stone-grilled kimchi bibimbap ¥980 After enjoying the recommended menu items, I was quite full, but I still wanted to eat horumon, so I added a few more dishes: - Mino (with sauce) - Tecchan (with salt) - Sanchu - Morioka reimen For the finale, Morioka reimen is a must-have! It's a thicker version compared to Korean cold noodles, and the texture is amazing. I don't like it when the egg yolk gets mixed in and clouds the soup, so I sucked up just the egg yolk at the beginning lol. I topped it with ingredients, drizzled vinegar to taste, and enjoyed it. That's it for the meal. I kept the highballs to three for the next day's work, and it came out to around 5000 yen per person. What a bargain. The age range of customers is not just young people; there are also many older customers, making it a popular restaurant for all generations. A new restaurant opened about a 5-minute walk west of the thirteenth station. I chose dishes such as the most expensive rare yukhoe, thickly sliced seared liver, famous tongue, and harami. The all-you-can-drink option allows you to choose from the regular menu, so you can enjoy freshly squeezed sour drinks. The sauce for the rare yukhoe was a bit sweet, but it was exciting to have raw meat after a long time! The thickly sliced tongue had a hidden knife in it, making it easy to eat despite its thickness. The fresh thickly sliced liver was sweet. The harami had a good amount of fat and was tender. The lean meat comparison was also delicious, with just the right amount of marbling. The kimchi was simply white cabbage with sauce poured over it, still crunchy (lol). The yukhoe jjamppong was finished by pouring soup over it right in front of us, which added to the excitement (lol). The staff were all energetic and moved quickly, leaving a good impression!

It is cheap and delicious. It's nice that there is plenty of green onion on top, but it tends to get burnt when grilled. It's great that they can make a strong Mega Highball. I wish there were a few more varieties of sauce for some flavor variation. There are two clean restrooms available.

It was quite crowded. I was happy that the drink prices were cheap. I used a LINE coupon and got to eat the Kalbi 2 types plate at a discounted price. The Kalbi was thinly sliced and cooked quickly, and the taste was really delicious. The Tongue, generously served on the plate, had just the right amount of salt and I really liked it. It had a good texture. The service was also good, they changed the grill net twice and the cold towel was nice. I want to come back here again.

Newly opened yakiniku restaurant. Started with ordering a beer. The price of 209 yen including tax is very reasonable! It was a weekday but there were many reservations, so if we hadn't arrived early, we wouldn't have been able to get a table. We ordered a platter of two types of thinly sliced A5 wagyu kalbi with salt and lemon, and also ordered A5 wagyu kalbi with a lot of marbling. The quality for the price of 748 yen including tax was amazing. They also have a perfect size menu (reminded me of Gyoza no Ohsho), making it easy for solo diners to enjoy. Thank you for the meal.

I decided to have yakiniku at the age of thirteen and visited a restaurant I found on Tabelog for the first time. It is a casual and lively yakiniku restaurant located about 5-6 minutes from Hankyu Juso Station. I ordered various recommended items, but my personal top 3 are as follows: 1. Black Wagyu A5 rank kalbi 2. Thick-cut tongue comparison 3. Yukkejang kukpa. When I visit next time, I will go for the top 2 choices and finish with number 3. The thinly sliced kalbi was a bit too fatty for me. The fact that draft beer is cheap is also good. I thought it would be smoky, but you can store your bag and jacket inside the chair, and the ventilation is done properly, so the smell doesn't stick to your clothes or hair too much, and I wasn't embarrassed on the train ride home. I will visit again.

I revisited "Shin Nikuyakiya," a BBQ restaurant with unbeatable cost performance, even after trying many BBQ places. I checked the drink menu, thinking they might have raised prices, but to my surprise, beer is still only 190 yen!! It's rare to find a place where beer is 190 yen even during happy hour, let alone all the time. The prices for other drinks like chuhai are also very cheap. The meat menu still offers A5 wagyu kalbi for 680 yen and various types of hormone for 380 yen and up. The thick-cut tongue, super-sized shabu roast, and fresh thick-cut liver are all amazing. The must-try dish, the "Shin Yukkejang Kuppa," is still as delicious as ever. The quality of the food is outstanding considering the low prices. In a world where everything seems to be getting more expensive, this BBQ restaurant is like a savior for the common people. I highly recommend visiting this place! Even though I went on a Thursday, the restaurant was almost full, so I suggest making a reservation in advance!
