Recently, there are many all-you-can-eat yakiniku restaurants, but it is better to go to a proper yakiniku restaurant. I visited Akasaka's Meigetsukan for the first time. The restaurant has 4 floors with tatami rooms for dining. The meat was neatly sliced and served in a pot, and the cuts like loin and Harami were delicious. The sauce was light and easy to eat, and we also had delicious soup and cold noodles. I am satisfied.

Weekend holiday lunch for two people, visited shortly after opening. Two groups of customers already there, enjoying some daytime drinking. Started with Extra Cold beer. Ordered Deluxe set meal (with pork and harami) and Garlic Butter Grilled Meat. Also had a 2-serving bottle of JINRO soju, with kimchi and Korean seaweed as side dishes while waiting for the meat to cook. The butter melted and the raw garlic was cooked, taking a bit of time. Enjoyed the JINRO on the rocks for about an hour before saying "thank you for the meal".

This is my second visit to Umeda Meigetsukan Awaza branch. I ordered the daily lunch special for 750 yen, which today was the tongue set meal. After ordering, tea and kimchi were served immediately. Then came the rice, miso soup, salad, Korean seaweed, and finally the tongue. It all came very quickly. The tongue consisted of 6 slices, and the rice and kimchi were all-you-can-eat. The meat was average, but delicious. This BBQ lunch offers amazing value for money. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant is a four-story building with different sections for table seating and traditional tatami seating. The interior is spacious and can accommodate both small and large groups. The quality of the meat is average, suitable for gatherings like yakiniku in Awaza. We visited as a family and enjoyed a relaxing meal in the tatami room. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Probably more than 10 years ago, I visited "Umeda Myokenkan Awaza Branch" which left a spacious impression. I think I ordered the "Awaza Mori" set for 4570 yen at that time. That's all I remember. Even after the pandemic, if the staff are a bit more energetic, I think customers would be even happier. Well, enough meddling, let's start with some drinks! ◆ Asahi Super Dry Extra Cold 550 yen ◆ Chu-hi various kinds 380 yen ◆ Fruit liquor 420 yen ◆ Cocktails 420 yen ~ ◆ Mini wine bottle 600 yen ~ ◆ Black Nikka Highball 450 yen ◆ Sake 1 go (180ml) 450 yen ◆ Shochu various kinds 450 yen ~ ◆ Chamisul 980 yen, and more. And for food: ◆ Premium Salted Tongue 1520 yen - Thinly sliced and just the right size. A good start! ◆ Premium Harami 1960 yen - Healthy lean meat, a must-have for yakiniku! Delicious! ◆ Wiener 440 yen - Not coarse-ground, so a bit unsatisfying, but worth ordering. ◆ Garlic 440 yen - Delicious oil-soaked garlic already seasoned with sauce. Perfect for drinking! ◆ Namul 5 kinds assortment 610 yen - A must-order for drinkers. Perfect as a side dish! ◆ Grilled vegetable assortment 660 yen - Onions, bell peppers, carrots, eggplants, pumpkins, corn, leeks, and shiitake mushrooms. The restaurant is convenient for groups or drinking parties.

After my daughter and grandson left, I visited this restaurant near Awa-za station for the first time in 5 years for lunch. It was before 12 o'clock and there were 3 groups of customers already. I ordered the recommended Special Set Meal (2600 yen) which included premium cuts of meat, egg soup, and a lunch glass of beer (250 yen). After 7 minutes, the meat and rice were served. I enjoyed the meal with a refill of beer, but couldn't finish the rice as I was already quite full from the generous side dishes like Namul and Korean seaweed. I shared the egg soup with my companion. We left feeling satisfied and said "thank you for the meal."

Upon entering the store, there was no greeting from the staff. Even when I tried to get their attention, they did not respond. A regular customer pointed me towards a seat and told the staff to come over. Other than that, the staff's service was polite and not bad. I ordered the harami set meal. The meat was very delicious, with a mild sauce. The kimchi was also very tasty.

Today, I decided to have yakiniku for lunch and headed to Umekado Awa-za branch in Umeda, which I had checked on Tabelog beforehand. I ordered the daily lunch special for 700 yen, which today was the pork belly set. I sat at the counter and was first served a large amount of kimchi. This restaurant offers all-you-can-eat kimchi. Then, after about 5 minutes, I was served a set of rice, miso soup, salad, Korean seaweed, 6 slices of pork belly, and cabbage. I started by grilling 3 slices of meat and cabbage, and in the meantime, I enjoyed the miso soup, salad, Korean seaweed, and rice. Everything was delicious. Grilling the pork belly until crispy and dipping it in the sauce made it even more delicious. I then grilled the remaining 3 slices of meat until crispy and enjoyed them with a second helping of rice. It was a great meal.

This shop is located just south of Midosuji Street on Shin-Naniwa Street. There is no parking lot, but there are several coin parking lots behind the shop. There are several lunch options available, but the daily special lunch is incredibly cheap at 700 yen including tax. I recommend ordering the daily special lunch and adding a single meat menu item. The quality of the premium kalbi and premium loin was excellent and delicious. Kimchi is all-you-can-eat, and the meat is tasty for the price, with no issues. The sauce has a fruity flavor and is very delicious!

On my day off, I had dinner at a restaurant called "Umeda Meigetsukan Awaza" which is open almost every day. I ordered the usual kimchi, namul, and salad, along with various meats like salted tongue, pork belly, loin, kalbi, tripe, and teppanyaki sausage. I also tried garlic butter. I had a lot to drink that day, about 9 cups in total, and ended the meal with the usual "kuppa" dish. The food was delicious and the cost performance was great, costing around 5000 yen per person. I had a great time and I hope "Umeda Meigetsukan Awaza" continues to do well. And by the way, the manager has put on some weight during the pandemic, looking plump! Thank you.

On a certain holiday evening, I decided to head out early for dinner and went to "Umeda Meigetsukan Awaza branch". We were seated at a spacious table with plenty of room, and the staff kindly left the neighboring seats empty to maintain social distancing. The windows were wide open, ensuring good ventilation, as expected from a yakiniku restaurant. We enjoyed the classic highball for a toast, followed by a variety of kimchi and namul dishes. We also ordered premium cuts like top loin, top belly, top salted tongue, sirloin, and vegetable salad. To finish off, we had tripe and beef intestine stew. I had about four highballs during the meal, feeling refreshed and happy to dine out after a long time. However, I felt that the cost performance was not the best. Thank you for the meal!

I visited the Yakiniku restaurant "Umeda Meigetsukan Awaza branch" for lunch. Although I have been to the Kyobashi and Umeda branches a few times, this was my first time at the Awaza branch. I ordered the Harami set meal for 880 yen. The Harami meat was small but there were 6 pieces, and you could eat all the kimchi, rice, miso soup, and a salad with cabbage and boiled eggs, although it was a bit small. There was also Korean seaweed. It was a decent amount of food. As for the main Harami meat, it was decent for the price. The restaurant is quite large, spanning from the 2nd to the 4th floor. I recommend it for those who have a big appetite. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant is located near the Awaza intersection, so it's easy to find. This place offers lunch sets at affordable prices. It's popular among office workers and business people on weekdays. The "Harami Set Meal for 880 yen" includes harami meat, cabbage, miso soup, Korean seaweed, kimchi, and rice. You can have unlimited rice and kimchi refills. The harami meat was delicious! Thank you for the meal.

After leaving the Naniwa Bank, I decided to visit Umekui Akatsuki-kan Awaza branch for the first time on my way to Shin-Naniwa Street. I saw some reviews mentioning poor cost performance and service, but I still decided to try their lunch set. I ordered the Bibimbap set with cold noodles for 1000 yen. The restaurant was spacious with a lot of seating, but there were few staff members. The food tasted decent, and the cold noodles could be customized with tableside kimchi. It was a good option for lunch, but the service during payment and entrance was not very efficient. There were no call bells at the entrance or tables, which could have improved the overall experience. Thank you for the meal.

In the 5th volume of Oishinbo, it is well known that Yuko Yuhara criticized shabu-shabu. However, you can try a shabu-shabu that even Yuhara would approve of. In this shabu-shabu, the pot is filled with broth and grated daikon radish. The meat is cooked gently without boiling, just like in a Chinese hot pot style. The young and beautiful waitress will skillfully cook the meat to a perfect pink color. You can enjoy the meat with the broth, which adds richness to the dish. Ponzu sauce is also available if you prefer. The course includes a seasonal meat platter and takikomi gohan (mixed rice), which elevates the shabu-shabu experience. Today's special is early-harvest bamboo shoots from Kagoshima, a rare find in Tokyo. The restaurant offers individual private rooms and is reasonably priced due to being directly managed by a ranch in Kagoshima. It's more of a meat dish than traditional Japanese cuisine, but the experience is authentic and enjoyable.

This is a yakiniku restaurant in Awa-za! They have delicious meats like pot kalbi, but my personal favorite is the beef tongue sashimi! It's rare to find a place that serves it, and it's a must-try for tongue lovers!✨

Deluxe set meal for 1780 yen, coffee after the meal for 120 yen. I had high hopes for the sirloin harami, but it was disappointing. The meat was a bit tough. The kimchi and seaweed were tasty, but the coffee was lukewarm, which was even more disappointing. The bibimbap looked delicious.

I ordered the Harami lunch set at a yakiniku restaurant where I could enjoy unlimited kimchi and white rice without any hesitation. I grilled it lightly to my liking, making it soft and juicy.

It's been a while since I visited. The taste is consistently good. I bought some kimchi to take home, and the kimchi here is the best.

During my internship, I felt like eating yakiniku alone, so I decided to go to a yakiniku restaurant by myself. I chose to go there because I thought it would be within 1000 yen, which was just right for me. The taste was just right, with the meat being neither too thick nor too thin.
