On December 12, 2015 (Saturday), I visited a restaurant located in Minamikata, Nishinakajima due to a family funeral. I met up with my father and we had a meal together at Horumon Honpo Minamikata store. The restaurant had a Showa era theme and we enjoyed the charcoal-grilled meat in a relaxed atmosphere. The side dishes were tasty, especially the thick-cut tongue and three types of lean meat. Although I'm not a big fan of horumon (offal), overall the meal was delicious. After the meal, my husband and daughter joined us for a gathering to lighten the mood after the funeral. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Although the yakiniku restaurant seemed to have good cost performance, the service was lacking despite the friendly staff. The food was also served very slowly, with long gaps in between. The meat was decently tasty, but it was disappointing overall. It seems like they are understaffed in the kitchen. I'm not sure if I would visit again.

It had been a while since I visited this kind of casual yakiniku restaurant, and it was nice. They serve yakiniku with a lot of smoke. Tonight, I went to Hormone Honpo for all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink menu for 4,000 yen. I also ordered chicken liver sashimi and raw senmai as extras. It was delicious to have hormone after a long time. Especially, the harami, bara, and kalbi were tasty, and I enjoyed eating as much hormone as I wanted. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

As the name suggests, there was a wide variety of hormone dishes on the menu. But first, I was in the mood for some meat so I ordered harami, kalbi, and tongue. They were all delicious. However, since I came to "Hormone Honpo," I couldn't leave without trying some hormone dishes. I had heart and small intestine, which were also delicious, as expected. It might be good to eat them with rice, but I didn't feel like I could fit any more in my stomach, so I washed it down with a highball. The atmosphere was casual and easy to use, so I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

Today, in Nishinakajima, after having a drink at one place, we felt like eating horumon (offal) and yakitori, so we went to Horumon Honpo. We ordered raw senmai (intestines) and horumon, and enjoyed them with wine. They also had raw chicken liver, which was a pleasant surprise. Horumon goes perfectly with wine. It was late at night, so we were asked to move tables since we were a group of two, which was a bit disappointing. However, I would like to visit again, maybe not as a second stop, but as the first stop next time.

This is a restaurant located just a minute's walk from Nishinakajima Minamigata Station on the Osaka Municipal Subway Midosuji Line and Hankyu Kyoto Line. I visited for lunch on a weekday afternoon. Inside the restaurant, they serve yakiniku cooked on a shichirin grill. I ordered the Negi Shio Kalbi Donburi for 930 yen (tax included) from the lunch menu. It arrived in about 7 minutes. The lunch set came with soup and kimchi. The amount of meat was a bit on the smaller side, but overall the portion size, including the rice, was satisfying. The topping was thinly sliced green onions. The salt sauce was also delicious. Personally, I enjoyed the kimchi as well. Thank you for the meal.

The interior has counter seats and table seats, and the lunch menu offers various yakiniku set meals. I ordered the Oyaji Bara Teishoku. Let's dig in! The yakiniku is cooked on a shichirin grill. This bara set comes with 6 slices of meat, and for the price, the quality was good and quite satisfying. Overall, it was a delicious and satisfying lunch. Thank you for the meal! On March 14, 2020, I visited a yakiniku restaurant for the second week in a row. Despite the quiet atmosphere in restaurants due to the Corona situation, my drinking buddy and I visited "Horumon Honpo Nishinakajima Minamigata Store" in Nishinakajima. We made a reservation through the website in advance. I made a reservation because lately, due to the Corona situation, many restaurants have been struggling to secure staff and have been turning away customers without reservations. We booked the "All-You-Can-Eat 65 items + All-You-Can-Drink Course" for 4200 yen. We arrived at 5:45 pm and were seated at a table on the second floor. We started with ordering drinks (draft beer). At this restaurant, the staff lead a cheers for the first drink for all customers. It was lively with cheers going on every time new customers arrived. Eating yakiniku in such a lively atmosphere made it taste even better. After finishing the first round of dishes, we ordered our favorite cuts of meat one after another, enjoying fresh horumon and delicious meat. Of course, we kept adding more draft beer. Dishes like the "Dokonjo Harami" have a spicy flavor, and it is recommended to eat them without sauce. However, they are also delicious with sauce, offering a milder and slightly spicy taste. Since it was all-you-can-eat, we enjoyed eating freely without worrying too much. The staff changed the grill frequently, showing great attention to detail despite being a reasonably priced all-you-can-eat restaurant. For me, it was unusual to dine out at night. Until the 23rd, draft beer, shochu, and chu-hi were all 99 yen, and the famous Harami Bakka was half price. Even though I can't drink alcohol myself because I'm currently taking various medications, I went with my younger brother who enjoys drinking. We arrived before the opening time of 5:00 PM, but there was already a line outside the restaurant, probably due to the ongoing promotion. We managed to get in on the first round and ordered oolong tea for starters. When drinks are served here, they also check the temperature for a toast, which livens up the atmosphere in the restaurant. We ordered the famous Harami Bakka and various other types of meat and side dishes. The Harami Bakka was generous in portion, with a spicy sauce that complemented the meat well, and despite being harami, it was juicy and delicious. There are also many types of hormones to choose from, making the ordering process enjoyable. We finished off with cold noodles, which were also delicious. I don't know when it will be, but when I no longer need medication, I would like to come back here for a drink. Thank you for the meal.

It's really delicious. The hormone is good, but the tongue and skirt steak are the best. The yukhoe is also great.

I used a coupon at the restaurant and played rock-paper-scissors with the cashier. I got 50% off on some hormone menu items, even though I lost the game.

Until 7 PM, you can enjoy a glass of draft beer for only 100 yen.

I think the menu, taste, and service are good. However, the space is small and it can feel crowded, so I wouldn't recommend it to people who have a problem with that.

The quality of the meat is high and the prices are low, which is greatly appreciated in today's difficult world. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is good. However, I hope they can improve the weak heat of the charcoal grill.

I felt that the quality and taste of the meat were worth more than the price.
