It had been a while since I visited this place, and by noon, it was already full. Located facing Osaka's main artery, Midosuji, guests kept coming in one after another. Naturally, there were many foreign guests as well. However, seeing that there were no empty seats, I reluctantly left the restaurant. It was a rare lunch with a handsome sales guy. He ordered pasta, and after much deliberation, I ordered this:
Seared Chashu Bowl: 1,000 yen
First, a minestrone-like soup arrived. It was full of ingredients and had a unique taste. What a surprise! The ginger was quite strong. Choosing ginger as an option for a summer soup was interesting as it had a sweating effect and stimulated the stomach and intestines. The soup was delicious, but it was a bit disappointing that they were careless about the cup being dirty.
My colleague's pasta had been served quite some time ago. I started to wonder if there was a mistake with my order when my dish finally arrived. Contrary to my expectations, it was served in a shallow bowl, or rather a plate. Topped with green onions, onions, paprika powder, and a little black pepper, the thinly sliced chashu was seared. At the top was a soft-boiled egg, which was surprisingly firm. I was expecting the yolk to flow out, but it didn't. Underneath the chashu were chopped seaweed and a moderate amount of mayonnaise, which added a nice accent and made it quite delicious. I thought the rice portion might be small, but it was actually quite substantial. As a result, I was stuffed! The restaurant's atmosphere was characterized by the overwhelming number of female guests, and it had a bright and relaxed vibe. Being a large cafe with a wide variety of menu options, it was a place where you wouldn't get tired of coming back. Thank you for the meal.
