Visit on February 9, 2021. First time visiting. Drawn in by the all-you-can-eat rice, raw egg, pickles, and coffee. Ordered the "fried chicken set meal." Was told it would take about 8 minutes, so I waited while looking at my phone. It wasn't that I was timing it, but it really was served in about 8 minutes, surprising! Three pieces of fried chicken, smaller than a fist, were served. Quite a generous portion. As a rice lover, I quickly asked for a rice refill! The staff asked, "How much rice would you like?" and I said, "About the amount of the first serving." When the second serving was brought out, the staff said, "Today, we've run out of rice, this is the last one." I was planning to eat about 4 servings of rice, keeping pace with the side dishes, but to have the second serving be the last rice! I could only respond with a hesitant "Oh, okay, I understand," and compromised on the rice. The fried chicken was well-seasoned, the pickles were salty, and I wanted to have it with egg rice... I had already compromised with the first serving feeling like there was still some room in the rice, so it was a shame, a shame, a shame. I wanted to eat more rice (laughs). Since I visited late, it would be a risk for the restaurant to cook more rice. I savored the set meal in front of me, and finished with a hot cup of coffee before leaving.
