The set meal of Goya Champuru and fried chicken. The fried chicken was overcooked and a bit burnt, making it tough. The Goya Champuru was tasty but the portion was small, which was a bit disappointing. I went in wanting to eat Okinawan cuisine, so I felt a bit unsatisfied. The atmosphere inside the restaurant felt more like a Okinawan restaurant in a non-Okinawan city.

This was a restaurant that I had been curious about for a while. Even though I wasn't very hungry, I decided to give it a try. I visited around 2 o'clock and it was bustling with salarymen having a late lunch. I ordered the Goya Champuru and mini Okinawan soba with 16-grain rice for 1089 yen, which was a generous portion. Both the Goya Champuru and soba came in regular-sized portions. The Goya Champuru had a gentle flavor with low salt content. It included bitter melon, spam, tofu, egg, bean sprouts, onions, and bonito flakes, which added a unique touch. The amount served was quite large. The soba had a mild flavor with a hint of bonito, and it was accompanied by Rafute (Okinawan braised pork belly), fish cake, red pickled ginger, and green onions. It was delicious and light, but the portion size after the Goya Champuru and rice was challenging. After finishing the meal, my stomach felt stuffed. Thank you for the meal.

I had guava juice, an assortment of Okinawan delicacies, purple sweet potato salad, hirayachi, pork tamago, goya champuru, and mozuku tempura. The tempura had a crispy coating and a chewy interior, delicious! The pork tamago was so tasty, it really goes well with rice, perfect for bento boxes. The purple sweet potato salad was a bit sweet. The tofu in the assortment was my first time trying, but it wasn't that tasty. The goya champuru had a strong dashi flavor, which was surprisingly delicious! Everything I ate was delicious!

I wanted to eat Goya Champuru, so I went to Island Breeze. I ordered a set of Goya Champuru and Rafute. It was okay, nothing special. The Goya Champuru had a slightly metallic taste overall. Thank you for the meal.

After a long time, I was wandering around Umeda for lunch and saw Okinawan cuisine, which made me crave Goya Champuru. I decided to visit this place. It was past 1 pm, and 3rd Street was crowded with people lining up at many shops, but I was able to enter easily. I ordered the set meal menu at the entrance, and chose the Goya Champuru and Mini Okinawa Soba set for 990 yen (tax included). It arrived in about 5 minutes. The Goya Champuru I was looking forward to had a nice balance of the sweetness of bean sprouts, the bitterness of Goya, and the saltiness of Spam, making it delicious. The Okinawa Soba was okay, but personally, I didn't find it that great. I'm full now, but I want to come back for Okinawan lunch again when the timing is right! #UmedaLunch #OkinawanCuisine #GoyaChampuru #OkinawaSoba

I used it for a social gathering with colleagues. It's "Shimanu Kaze" located on B2F of Hankyu Sanbangai, closest to Hankyu Umeda Station. The surprising course is 3,000 yen all-you-can-drink! It includes 5 dishes (Mimigar, seaweed grape and other 4 kinds of rare appetizers, pork balls, Goya champuru, tempura of snui (mozuku) and Okinawan soba), and all-you-can-drink options such as Orion beer, Ryukyu highball, shochu [barley, sweet potato], and a wide variety of 40 types of awamori. It's a cost-effective setting that is kind to the wallets of common people. After drinking about 3 glasses of Orion beer and 2 glasses of awamori, it's enough to make up for the cost, but it's a bit hard on the stomach. While enjoying these Okinawan dishes for the first time in a while, I remembered the main island and remote islands of Okinawa that I used to visit often, starting with Orion beer and enjoying awamori such as Zanpa. Before I knew it, the night was getting late, and it was a fun 2 and a half hours for 3,000 yen. Cheers!

I have been going to this Okinawan restaurant for a long time. I always eat and drink a lot, but when it comes time to pay, I'm pleasantly surprised by the reasonable bill. The staff is friendly and attentive, so there's nothing to complain about. Personally, I always end up wanting to hog the champuru and braised pork belly, so I'd like to go back even with just a few people.

♪Island song~ Riding the wind~ Along with the birds~♪ My dad wanted to eat Okinawan cuisine after a long time, so I made a reservation at "Shimanu Kaze" which offers all-you-can-drink courses! I was drawn in by the voluminous Okinawan set meal and decided to order the Okinawa soba set for 990 yen. It arrived in about 5 minutes. You can choose between white rice or sixteen-grain rice. Both the sixteen-grain rice and the Okinawa soba were generous in portion size! The Okinawa soba had a gentle broth, but the noodles were not really to my liking. The large and tender pork belly on top was delightful. The two pieces of fried chicken were crispy with a strong pepper flavor. The Goya champuru that my husband ordered had plenty of bean sprouts and a delicious taste. Thank you for the meal ★

Today's lunch was the Island Breeze Okinawa Soba set meal (¥890). I've been craving Okinawa soba for the past few weeks (laughs). The broth with the aroma of bonito and kelp, plenty of red ginger, thickly sliced pork belly, wavy noodles, this is it! Okinawa soba (laughs). You can choose between white rice and sixteen-grain rice. The side dish was island-style fried chicken (^^). The Okinawa soba tasted just as I imagined, and I quickly finished it feeling relieved. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside (^^). As a small comfort, I chose the sixteen-grain rice for a health-conscious option (laughs). Thank you for the meal! p(^-^)q

I visited the restaurant in August 2022 for lunch. It is located in Hankyu Sanbangai. It is a Okinawan cuisine restaurant. There used to be an Okinawan restaurant in Grand Front Osaka, but it closed due to the pandemic, so I came here instead. I ordered the "Kaijin Bishokuzen" for 1309 yen and the "Guava Mix Juice" for 429 yen. The atmosphere of the restaurant is Okinawan, with Okinawan awamori available for daytime drinking. The "Kaijin Bishokuzen" arrived in about 10 minutes. It included black rice, goya champuru, mango pudding, salad, Okinawan soba, and Rafute. It was a generous portion and delicious. I highly recommend it.

Located in the Hankyu Sanban-gai B1 South Building, this restaurant offers a variety of healthy and well-balanced Okinawan dishes for lunch. As someone who dislikes bitterness, I, known as Gal Sonne, opted for the "Rafute Don and Mini Okinawa Soba Set" instead of the Goya Champuru. The order arrived in 5-6 minutes. The Rafute Don featured pork belly with skin, topped with a soft-boiled egg, chopped green onions, and pickled ginger. The combination of the meat's umami, fat, and sweet broth made the rice very enjoyable. The pickled ginger provided a nice contrast to the slight sweetness on the palate. The Mini Okinawa Soba had a comforting flavor with the aroma of pickled ginger, warming the body, and a gentle dashi taste. The flat noodles had a pleasant texture. The slightly rich Rafute Don paired well with the Okinawa Soba. This combination was truly a perfect match, making it a must-try!

It's hot again today! I strolled around Hankyu Sanbangai at lunchtime, looking for a place to eat. When I passed by "Shimanu Kaze", a refreshing scene of Okinawa's blue sky came to mind. My feet led me inside the restaurant. The menu was extensive, offering everything from set meals to Okinawan soba. Although the Okinawan soba looked delicious, I decided on the "Rafute and Goya Champuru" set meal because it was a bit hot. When the "Rafute and Goya Champuru" set meal was brought to me, my heart was already in Okinawa. I started with the "Goya Champuru", enjoying the refreshing bitterness of the bitter melon. It felt like I was eating something good for my body. The "Rafute" was tender pork that melted in my mouth. Even though I have no plans to visit Okinawa, this restaurant made me feel like I had. They also serve Orion Beer, which makes it a place I'd like to have a drink at night.

Yesterday's solo lunch was at Shimane Kaze in Hankyu Sanban-gai♪ I felt like having Okinawan cuisine so I decided to go there. I ordered the Goya Champuru and Mini Okinawa Soba set for ¥1199 (tax included). I actually wanted to have Fu Champuru, but it wasn't included in the lunch set, so I chose the classic Goya Champuru set. The set arrived quite quickly! It came with Goya Champuru, Mini Okinawa Soba, multigrain rice, and pickled vegetables. First, I tried the soba... the soup was delicious! When I added the Cori Gusu, it became even more delicious! The Goya Champuru had a refined seasoning, light and healthier than traditional Okinawan dishes. The pork slices were tender. Next time, I'll try the full-sized Okinawa Soba. Thank you to the staff, the restaurant, the food, the ingredients, and Okinawan cuisine. It was a delicious meal!✴️✴️✴️ Location: 1-1-3 Shibata, Hankyu Sanban-gai B2, Osaka, Osaka Phone: 06-6375-7333 Hours: 11:00-22:00 (Last order 21:00)

This is an Okinawan restaurant located in the south wing of Hankyu Umeda Sanban-gai. While lunch is the main focus during the day, you can also order from the evening menu (including alcohol) during the day. My personal recommendation is the "Okinawan delicacy assortment of 7 kinds". It includes sea grapes, island tofu, mimigar in ponzu sauce, pickled shallots, bitter melon, Arsaa kamaboko, and tofu yoh, all packed on one plate. It's truly impressive to see Okinawa's specialties all in one dish. I like to enjoy everything except the tofu yoh with Orion beer, and then finish off the remaining tofu yoh with awamori. Additionally, the variety of awamori available on the menu is incredibly vast, which is also impressive.

I visited a restaurant called "Shimanukaji" near Hankyu Umeda Station in Osaka, located on the B2 floor of Hankyu Sanbangai. I arrived around 13:30 on a weekday and was a bit nervous when entering because I couldn't see much from the outside, but there were only a few customers inside. I was told to choose any seat I liked, so I chose the counter. The interior was a bit dimly lit but had a strong Okinawa vibe. I ordered the Karaage (fried chicken) and Goya Champuru set for ¥979. I was able to change the rice to 16-grain rice. The food arrived quickly. It had been a while since I last had Goya Champuru, and I could taste the bitterness of the Goya. The Karaage didn't leave a strong impression on me, but it wasn't bad either. The green vegetable soup had a lot of greens in it and was delicious. You can get a refill of the soup. There seemed to be only one person working in the front and one in the kitchen, so they might have been a bit busy, but I wish they had been a bit more attentive. They accept PayPay. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I wandered around Hankyu Sanbangai looking for dinner and was drawn to a sign for Okinawan cuisine. I ordered the Kainin Bishokuzen set for ¥1309, which includes Goya Champuru, Rafute, and Okinawa soba. You can choose between sixteen-grain rice or white rice. It was delicious, reasonably priced, and highly recommended.

I have visited Okinawa Island twice in the past, but I don't remember ever eating fried chicken there... It's a new taste for me. The fried chicken had a crispy texture, with a hint of salt and pepper, followed by juicy meat and a spicy kick. The lingering herb-like aftertaste was surprising. The Island Karaage and Goya Champuru set meal costs 979 yen. You can get free refills of miso soup and rice. You can choose multi-grain rice instead of white rice, making it a healthy option. The Goya Champuru was not bitter at all, very easy to eat. The set meal with Island Karaage is a good deal.

I visited Shimanufu in Umeda Sanbangai for lunch on a holiday. This is an Okinawan restaurant. Since it was around 11:30, there was only one other group of customers. I was seated right away. I ordered the Island Karaage and Goya Champuru set meal for 1,089 yen (tax included) from the lunch menu. It was served in about 5 minutes. The set included sixteen-grain rice, miso soup, karaage, Goya Champuru, mozuku vinegar, tofu, and pickles. The karaage was hot and crispy, and the Goya Champuru was full of vegetables. The food was really delicious. The Okinawan mozuku vinegar was also good. You can truly enjoy delicious Okinawan cuisine here. Thank you for the meal.

The seasoning, cost performance, and atmosphere of the restaurant are all good, and I think it's a nice place to casually drop by for Okinawan cuisine. Champuru, mozuku tempura, Okinawa soba, sea grape salad, and Agu pork gyoza are all classic choices that never disappoint. I remember hearing nostalgic songs playing inside the restaurant.
