Today's lunch was at "Kuroge Wagyu Yakiniku Ieyasu" in Shinsaibashi, Osaka. I had some business in Osaka. I was surprised to find a restaurant like this in this area. The name "Ieyasu" is quite impressive. I tried their specialty, the Wagyu Tataki Don (1,100 yen). Considering the recent high prices, I thought 1,100 yen was reasonable. The menu mainly consists of regular yakiniku dishes. The restaurant has tables with roasters, and it seems like there are no counter seats, so it might be tough for solo diners during busy times. The food arrived quickly after ordering, which was surprising. The meat looked delicious. It was tasty. I couldn't tell the difference between "beef tataki" and "roast beef" in this case, but it was delicious. The kimchi and salad, as well as the soup, were normal. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. I later found out that you could have rice and soup refills. The menu had a variety of options. I ordered the menu: Double Meat 150g for 1600 yen. Located a 5-minute walk from Shinsaibashi Station. Just off Shinsaibashi-suji street. I felt like eating meat so I decided to stop by. The interior of the restaurant is spacious with tables embedded with roasters. There were about 40 seats. It was almost full as it was lunchtime. I was torn between ordering yakiniku or the recommended Black Wagyu beef cutlets, so I went with the double portion. It arrived in about 8 minutes. The main dish was a large plate of meat with a side salad, rice, wakame soup, and kimchi. Rice and soup were refillable. The meat was cut thick and had a satisfying texture, with various cuts mixed in for different textures. It was seasoned well with salt and pepper. The onions were cooked until soft and sweet. It was delicious on its own but even better with the sauce, which added depth of flavor. The option to have unlimited rice was a nice touch. There was a lot of fat in the meat, which made me feel a bit heavy, but the portion size was satisfying. They also offer triple and king-size portions, as well as other lunch menu items like yakiniku. Thank you for the meal.

The photo shows the upper skirt steak. We ordered a platter of namul, a platter of kimchi, thick tongue tartare, medium ribs, upper skirt steak, upper loin, shrimp rice, ramen, and three beers for just under 13,000 yen. The upper skirt steak and upper loin were especially delicious! With all this food at this price, it's the best value for money.

I used it for dinner. It seems they also do lunch, and I've been curious about this place for a while. I was so focused on eating that I forgot to take photos of the food haha. The ventilation was good too, which was helpful. Overall, it was delicious. The variety was pretty standard, I think. Thank you for the meal.

On this day, after work, I took some colleagues to a nearby yakiniku restaurant called "Ieyasu" that specializes in black wagyu beef. I had high expectations for this place. We didn't make a reservation and arrived around 7 pm. There were no customers at that time, but soon the seats started filling up and the restaurant became quite busy. The interior was spacious with many seats, giving off a family-friendly vibe. The ordering method was through the staff. Here are some of the items we ordered: - Tongue tasting platter (3 types) - 1480 yen - Premium kalbi - 1880 yen - Premium loin - 1880 yen - Special harami (skirt steak) - 2480 yen - Fresh grilled liver - 980 yen - Premium chicken seseri meat - 680 yen - Premium beef intestine - 980 yen - Kimchi assortment - 780 yen - Fresh raw tripe - 880 yen - Eringi mushrooms - 300 yen - Onion - 300 yen - Special meat sushi (4 pieces) - 1500 yen The meat slices were huge, especially the harami which had a satisfying texture and juicy flavor. The atmosphere was calm, with minimal smoke and no lingering smell on clothes. I ordered a set meal so I could grill the meat at my own pace without rushing. I couldn't tell if it was Japanese black beef by taste, but I was satisfied with a full stomach for 3000 yen. (No alcohol)

"I came to try the specialty wagyu beef tataki bowl (1000 yen) (≧∇≦) Limited to 10 servings. I entered as soon as the store opened at 11 am, no waiting. You can choose from large, medium, or small rice portions, but I chose medium to balance with the meat. The dish arrived ☆彡 The egg yolk was shining brightly (>人<;) As I had heard, the flavor was a bit light, but if you want to enjoy the taste of the meat, this is okay. I found the amount of meat to be satisfying, unlike other roast beef bowls. I ate it as is because I didn't want to bother asking for sauce (^_^;) The soup is refillable. Salad and kimchi are also included, which I think is a good deal for the price. In terms of portion size, it may not be filling enough, so it could be a good first stop for a multiple lunch outing. However, since it's limited to 10 servings, it might be necessary to make it the first stop on a multiple lunch outing..."

I visited this restaurant for the first time, which seems to have opened at the end of last year. The atmosphere inside is casual, with about 8 tables. The lunch menu includes a variety of options such as grilled meat, rice bowls, and soups, all priced around 1,000 yen. The a la carte menu seems a bit more expensive than the lunch menu. I tried the Harami grilled meat set for 980 yen including tax. It came with 8 slices of meat, which was a decent amount, probably over 150g. Although it didn't come with salad, it did include a small portion of grilled vegetables, and there was unlimited kimchi on the table. The meat was delicious and the rice was decent, though slightly on the firm side. The staff were chatting with each other the whole time, which was quite entertaining. They must have been quite free.

We visited a new yakiniku restaurant that recently opened next to Shinsaibashi-suji shopping street. The lunch menu was great, with prices around 1000 yen, making it budget-friendly. We ordered the lean meat, kalbi, and harami set to share. The ventilation system was modern, with no obstructed view and good smoke suction, so we didn't have to worry about smelling like barbecue afterwards. It was delicious!

The restaurant I was planning to go to was closed, so I remembered seeing a beef tataki bowl around here and decided to go in. It was a relatively new-looking yakiniku restaurant, even though it didn't seem to have been open for long. Despite it being empty, they seated me close to other customers... I looked at the menu and debated between the beef tail soup and the beef tataki bowl for 1000 yen. While waiting, a part-time staff member wiped the table for me. Oh, it's not ready yet? Haha, said the floor manager-like person... The beef tataki bowl arrived. Hmm, the tataki bowl... the color was not very appealing. It was smaller than I expected... perhaps the photo was exaggerated. It came with soup and kimchi. I wanted to drink the soup, but there was no spoon... I mentioned it to a staff member and they brought one, but oh no! I accidentally dropped the spoon into the kimchi... The tataki bowl had a seared surface. The beef slices were about 5mm thick. They were chewy and hard to bite through. I cracked the egg yolk and mixed it with the meat and rice. For some reason, I just couldn't get excited about it (*_*). It was reasonably priced at 1000 yen, but there were a few things that bothered me. Thank you for the meal.

In Shinsaibashi, there is a new yakiniku restaurant where they have a daily menu displayed outside. Apart from the daily yakiniku, they also offer oxtail soup, bibimbap, cold noodles, and more. I couldn't decide on the daily special, so I chose the oxtail soup. The meal comes with unlimited rice, kimchi, and salad. The salad was nicely presented and just the right amount. The oxtail soup had large pieces of tender oxtail in a light broth. The meat was so tender that it easily fell apart with chopsticks or a spoon, and the soup was flavorful and warm. It was really delicious.

We made a reservation for three people because the price was quite good until the end of February. The special set was listed for 2-3 people, and we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. The white kimchi and chijimi were also delicious. The restaurant seems to be Korean, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, they are doing a great job with the quality and quantity of the meat. I hope they continue to do well. Highly recommended restaurant!
