Luckily, I was seated right away today, but soon after, the line started forming. The staff seemed overwhelmed and service was slow, with some customers having to get their own utensils. It was raining suddenly that day, so many people came in to avoid the rain, but it seemed like there were a lot of reservations as they were being turned away. The table seats were popular, and if you were alone or in a pair, you could still find a seat here and there. Looking at the menu, they offered pasta, soups, stews, hamburgers, harami steak... There were no sauces provided, which was a bit disappointing. I wish there was tartar sauce or something. There was a little mayo on the side, so I used that for the fish. There were no condiments on the table, and with fried food and sausage, the flavors started to feel a bit monotonous. The pasta salad also lacked flavor. After finishing work last Wednesday, I wanted to go to a gourmet burger shop in Higobashi, but it was closed. So, I decided to stop by <good spoon> near the office, located on the 1st floor of Yodoyabashi Odona. I arrived around 6 pm and was seated at a table near the entrance without a reservation. I ordered a Kirin Ichiban beer for 580 yen, slow-cooked beef tongue with leek and lemon oil sauce for 418 yen from the tapas menu, and a Quattro Formaggi pizza with honey for 1,188 yen. It seemed like there were mostly reservation customers. Upstairs, there was a loud company party going on. The beef tongue tapas was delicious! The menu is relatively reasonably priced, and it might be best to go with a group and order various tapas to share. I finished my beer before finishing the tapas, so I ordered a Heineken for 680 yen. It came in a small bottle, and I drank it without using the glass. The Quattro Formaggi pizza had a thin crust, which I usually like, but this one was a bit too hard and crumbly for my taste. The combination of cheese and honey was great, though. Overall, I was satisfied with the pizza and beer experience. I paid around 3,000 yen with my card and headed home for the night.

I happened to visit Odona in Yodoyabashi during lunchtime. Since it's a business district, many places are closed on Sundays, but I thought Odona would be open, and my partner likes Western food, so we chose it. The daily lunch special included fried horse mackerel, fried chicken, and a large sausage. I chose the horse mackerel because I like it, but the taste was a bit off. The chicken fry also had a lot of oil due to the large breadcrumbs. It didn't feel juicy, more oily. My partner enjoyed the beef stew. The two people next to us also had the beef stew, so I guess it's good. The two people next to them had the daily lunch special. The back of the restaurant seemed reserved. The service from the female staff was not pleasant - no smile, speaking softly, and no eye contact. We had to get our own water, while others had it brought to them. My partner even mentioned the staff's attitude after leaving. The male staff, on the other hand, had a good smile. Other reviews also mentioned the service, so it might be the same person. They should improve on this. I might try other menu items in the future, but probably won't be back. (awkward smile)

It was a weekday evening, so I made a reservation for the unlimited drink course menu. The spacious and stylish restaurant interior was great, and all the dishes were delicious, especially the meat! The drinks were also delicious. However, all the staff members had really bad attitudes... This was the unanimous opinion of all 7 of us! It's such a shame that for this reason alone, we will have to choose a different restaurant next time. We really want to go back, so I hope this feedback reaches them and they make improvements.

I ordered Sangria again today, and this time they had a rare mango Sangria, which tasted like juice. The food was typical but surprisingly the meat was delicious. We had a course where we could compare the luxurious Iberico pork and Tokachi beef. If the staff could be a little more attentive, I would have rated it higher, but the female staff members are often brusque and make mistakes, so I gave it a 3.0 rating.

The Seasonal Vegetable Chunky Soup Curry Plate (¥1188) features a soup curry with just the right amount of spice, topped with boiled egg, chicken, carrots, broccoli, tomatoes, and plenty of vegetables. The soup is light, allowing the sweetness of the vegetables to shine through. The bread served with it is a crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside milk bread with a buttery aroma. I rarely have curry for lunch, but this soup curry was light and delicious even at lunchtime. The cost-effective lunch and the spacious, open atmosphere of the restaurant made for a comfortable and relaxing dining experience.

Beef tongue beef stew plate: ¥1188 The beef stew is very delicious. However, the bread looked tasty but the quality was not that great. There are many options for cold drinks and tea. The hot coffee is okay, it seems to be pre-made and slightly acidic. The interior design of the restaurant is stylish and has a very nice atmosphere, with a view of Midosuji. By the way, the clam chowder was sold out.
