This is a restaurant in the northern part of Osaka where you can eat fresh crab. The prices are relatively reasonable, but I don't mind paying a little more for a full-service experience. They offer a variety of crab dishes including appetizers, sashimi, grilled crab, boiled crab, and crab hot pot. It's definitely worth a visit!

I was surprised to find such a delicious crab restaurant in a residential area. They had private rooms, which made it nice to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. The crab sashimi was particularly fresh and delicious, with a nice texture. We had a course meal, but unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of the other dishes.

The sashimi was fluffy and the meat was firm! I had never eaten such delicious crab before. The portion was also huge, I couldn't finish it all because I was so full. It's the best for crab lovers. Golden crab.

The grilled crab and sashimi were as expected, and the hot pot was delicious. However, I was disappointed by the small amount of crab, and the legs and body were small, making it difficult to extract the meat. I think it's better to stay in Ine and go there instead.

The restaurant is located just a 5-minute drive from my home, making it very convenient for me. They offer authentic Kinosaki crab course meals in private rooms. I was worried that the crab season was coming to an end, but there were plenty of crabs in the tanks inside the restaurant. I am looking forward to trying the limited edition "Kinosaki local crab (Golden crab)" that is only available in April. The "Golden crab" is a rare and delicious crab that is a cross between Kinosaki crab and Matsuba crab, and only a few hundred are caught each year.

The place was located in a residential area. The interior of the restaurant felt like eating in a normal house that had been renovated. The staff consisted only of women. The owner, who is from Kinosaki, personally goes to buy crabs and prepares them herself. It took some time for the dishes to be served as the crabs were prepared after the customers arrived, but the fresh and boiled crabs were amazing. The meat was sweet, delicious, and very filling. They also had local sake from Kinosaki, which was excellent.

I went to enjoy the premium course of the elusive golden crab, which is said to be found only 1 in 1000, a crossbreed of red king crab and snow crab (matsuba crab). First, we had appetizers such as marinated mackerel, simmered butterbur and bamboo shoots, eggplant stewed in soy sauce, sesame tofu, and squid sashimi, all of which were elegant and delicious. Then, they brought out the live golden crab to be cooked right before us. It was huge and bright red, moving around! I couldn't help but take a picture. The sashimi and grilled crab with crab miso were then served, and the presentation was like a piece of art. The sashimi was a revelation, incredibly fresh, sweet, and with the perfect texture. The grilled crab was even sweeter when cooked, and the crab miso was like a rich soup without any fishy smell. It was all so delicious and made me wonder why there are so few of these crabs. The crab hot pot came with the usual vegetables, as well as kudzu starch noodles and rice cakes. The dashi broth was flavorful, and all the ingredients were fresh and tasty. I tried adding the seven-spice blend with sansho pepper midway through, and it was amazing. The porridge with egg and rice at the end had a perfect balance and thickness. Lastly, I was impressed by the nori seaweed in the porridge. Pickled vegetables and pickled plums also went well with the porridge. Despite being full, I finished every last bit. It was a truly satisfying and delightful crab course. The hostess was very friendly and shared interesting stories about bringing the crabs all the way from Kyoto for their customers. I definitely want to bring my family and friends back to this wonderful restaurant.

This is the 200th review for a crab restaurant that operates seasonally from October 1st to May 1st. They have been in business since last year. They offer Kanmizu crab from Tajima from October and Matsuba crab from early November. Kanmizu crab is a rare crab born between the male snow crab and the female red snow crab, with a golden body. It is known as a "phantom crab" because it is so rare and only a few are caught each year. The restaurant is located in a quiet residential area in Momoyama-dai. The entrance is marked by a discreet sign on a regular mansion. You climb stairs from the entrance to the foyer. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you see a tank with many crabs. The rooms are traditional Japanese-style private rooms with a charming atmosphere. The hostess is young, beautiful, and elegant, adding to the charm of the place. We chose the Premium Live Crab Course. It included appetizers, sashimi, grilled crab miso, grilled crab, crab hot pot, rice porridge, pickles, and dessert. The appetizer consisted of five different dishes, including crab simmered in soy sauce, duck meat, sesame tofu, salmon roe with grated radish, and sweet black beans. The sashimi was incredibly sweet and paired well with the ginger soy sauce. The crab miso was rich and delicious, and the grilled crab was excellent. The crab hot pot and rice porridge were also outstanding. The food was so delicious that we couldn't help but enjoy some sake, all of which were from the brand Kohaku Tsuru. We started with the classic sake Namazake, served in a generous 300ml glass at a very reasonable price. We also tried the limited edition Natsukoshi Hiyaroshi, which is a pride of Tajima. This restaurant and course allow you to truly appreciate the deliciousness of crab.
