There is a restaurant in the center of Tenjin that offers a 3000 yen all-you-can-eat and drink course, which is amazing. However, for us old guys, an all-you-can-eat option is unnecessary, so we opted for the 2500 yen course which includes 3 dishes per person and unlimited draft beer. The casual and bright atmosphere was filled with young people, making us old guys stand out. If you can endure that, then it's a place even old guys can visit. We ordered from the "Kobore Series": Kobore Gyoza, Kobore Tebasaki (chicken wings), and Kobore Fried Potato, all of which were delicious. Since there were 5 of us, we were able to order a total of 15 dishes, including items like Shrimp and Avocado Fresh Spring Rolls, Pork Belly Lettuce Wraps, and Spicy Cod Roe and Cheese Omelette. Despite that, we still couldn't reach 15 dishes, so we ended with a sad sight of 5 old guys sharing a Creme Brulee Ice Cream dessert.

This was my second visit, so I ordered only two dishes for dinner, Mentaiko Tamagoyaki (spicy cod roe omelette) and Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings). The tamagoyaki had cheese inside and was delicious. I had ordered a dumpling platter here before, but the portion was too large and I couldn't finish it, plus the taste got boring after a while (there was no option to specify the quantity, so about 20 pieces came). The staff seemed to be understaffed as they were not present in the dining area, making it difficult to place orders. I think it's better to go for ramen rather than experiencing the izakaya (Japanese pub) here.

It's a bar that you can visit for lunch or dinner, but I couldn't forget the creme brulee shaved ice I saw on Instagram, so I went just to have the shaved ice. The place has a pub-like atmosphere inside, and the shaved ice comes with a topping of whipped cream and crispy creme brulee on top of the fluffy shaved ice. It was absolutely delicious! :)

I visited the restaurant because Waramu opened a gyoza shop! The interior is reminiscent of Ippudo, with a decent capacity, but the staff seem a bit understaffed and busy. However, they work efficiently, so the service is not slow and you can enjoy your meal with peace of mind. The dishes are all gently seasoned and left a good impression. Personally, I'm not a fan of Waramu's ramen, and it turns out I still don't like it... Sorry. The gyoza, on the other hand, was delicious!

We made a reservation for 5 pm and visited the restaurant with my daughter. It is located just off of Tenjin Nishi-dori. We could choose between a drink (all-you-can-drink) or gyoza (all-you-can-eat) for the happy hour, and when I tried to order a drink, I was informed that orders are taken for the whole table at once, so we decided not to get the drink this time (since my daughter doesn't drink much). We ordered our drinks and food first, and they were served quickly! Perhaps because we were there during a less busy time, the orders came out one after another shortly after. The food was delicious, and my daughter was delighted to find plenty of fish roe hidden under the corn at the bottom of the potato salad, which also had an ice cream cone on top. I wanted to order ramen at the end, but I was quite full and had to give up... My stomach seems to have shrunk recently, so I often feel unsatisfied like this. My daughter ordered matcha shaved ice for dessert, and we finished our meal. They also seem to offer lunch, so I think it would be nice to visit for lunch as well. Today I visited a popular spot for young people in Daimyo called Waraikiya. It's a casual Chinese restaurant that stays open until early morning, making it a convenient final stop for young people. From lunchtime, they offer all-you-can-drink plans, making it the perfect gyoza izakaya for drinkers! Located right in the middle of Daimyo, it is reasonable, with excellent service, and the food is meticulously prepared, beautiful in appearance, and delicious. They also serve elaborate dishes like potato salad, overflowing gyoza, and samgyeopsal after you order. The drinks include unique options like umeshu sour, and overall, it's very satisfying. I might become a regular customer.

Since there were five of us, we could order 15 items, so I tried to pick the more expensive options since I'm a thrifty person. I was convinced there must be a catch somewhere. The food was delicious overall, especially the gyoza which lived up to its reputation as a signature dish. Surprisingly, there weren't many customers, which was also a mystery. Finally, it was time to pay the bill. Would the catch come now? I braced myself, but the total bill came out to be 2,700 yen per person! The cost of the ramen we had was added on top. There was no catch! I encountered a surprising restaurant in the bustling area of Tenjin Nishi-dori.

Visited during happy hour. Ramen shop Waraku has a pub-style setting. The interior is spacious and relaxed. Happy hour offers one hour of all-you-can-drink for 500 yen. I ordered the 800 yen option which includes draft beer. The draft beer is Premium Malts. Other options include Jim Beam highball, shochu, with varieties like sweet potato, barley, and rice. They even have premium options like Shirataka rice shochu. The drink service is quick. The bite-sized gyoza is light and you can keep eating them. The spicy bean sprout and pork belly salad is a standout that goes well with alcohol! I ordered seconds. Had a pleasant time drinking in the afternoon. The cost performance is impressive.

The visit was rated 3.10 on Tabelog. I visited on a Saturday afternoon. Everywhere in Tenjin was crowded with lunch refugees, but I was able to enter this restaurant without waiting. The restaurant has a ramen izakaya vibe. I checked the menu and ordered the soft-boiled egg ramen (900 yen). The ramen arrived quickly, so I started eating. It was a classic and easy-to-eat tonkotsu ramen. The spicy miso added an impactful spiciness for a change in flavor. That's all, it was Osomatsu!

You can enjoy all-you-can-eat gyoza for 500 yen or all-you-can-drink for the same price at this restaurant. The gyoza are small but juicy, with a good amount of meat inside. I was able to eat 30 pieces, how many do you think you can eat? They also offer crispy tempura with mentaiko for 550 yen, and a spicy boiled egg dish called "drug egg" for 350 yen. I went for lunch on Saturday. The restaurant was very spacious with tables placed at comfortable intervals, creating a nice atmosphere. The chefs were facing the customers while cooking, so they were attentive and didn't need to be called loudly. Even though I went with my child, it seemed like a good place for daytime drinking as the menu was extensive and the group at the next table was having a lively girls' gathering. The staff's smiles and service were excellent. The ramen at Nanko has always been famous for its delicious taste, and it didn't disappoint. My daughter also enjoyed the fried rice, which had a nice balance and wasn't too greasy. One thing I really liked was the disposable apron they provided. As a woman, I often end up wearing white when I choose noodles (just me?), so I asked if they had an apron and they brought me a black one. The quality was surprisingly good - the fabric was soft and comfortable, unlike the stiff paper aprons I expected. The staff were all men, but most of the customers that day were women, by chance perhaps? It's rare to find a ramen shop where you can enjoy a leisurely meal, including a delicious ramen as a finisher, rather than just rushing to eat and go back to work. Tsukushino City-based Waraku, which has been expanding its stores centered around Fukuoka, opened in the heart of Tenjin, where Ippudo used to be, on April 1, 2022. They have also won first place in the Kyushu Ramen General Election, so many people may be familiar with them. Waraku, a Fukuoka-based restaurant, is known for its ramen, which is a part of Fukuoka's culture, and you can also enjoy gyoza and alcohol at this new location, making it suitable for casual izakaya-style dining. I have only visited the Nishijin store before, so this was my first time here, but it brought back nostalgic flavors. During lunchtime, there was a set menu available, but this time I ordered just the ramen (780 yen). You mark your preferred noodle firmness and soup richness on the paper on the table and wait for your customized bowl of ramen. Water is self-service, and there is a self-serve station for pickled mustard greens next to it. The ramen toppings are simple, with green onions and chashu. The chashu was thin but juicy, with no greasiness. The soup is a classic tonkotsu broth that is smooth and easy to drink, without a strong pork bone odor. When you mix in the spicy miso, the flavor changes and becomes more enjoyable. The noodles are thin and easy to slurp, with a nice chewiness. They also offer all-you-can-drink options and all-you-can-eat gyoza, making it a fun spot for evening dining as well.

Warm Moku is already famous and I have visited many times. Gyoza Ramen Sakaba in Tenjin is a favorite place where you can enjoy ramen, gyoza, and alcohol from lunchtime. I like to order my ramen with extra garlic and green onions to suit my taste. Warm Moku's ramen is always amazing no matter when you eat it. The potato salad is beautifully presented, and the shrimp fry is stylish and popular on Instagram. The overflowing gyoza is a bite-sized gyoza and very delicious!

My husband really wanted to have the all-you-can-drink happy hour, so we went in the early evening. We ordered: - All-you-can-drink (1 hour) 500 yen x 2 - Sweet and sour pork 680 yen - Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) 600 yen - Warm dusk ramen 780 yen x 2 Happy hour offers either all-you-can-drink or all-you-can-eat dumplings. Since we can't eat that much, we chose the all-you-can-drink option. Two orders per person are required, so we ended up with a full stomach. We were seated at the counter, and our orders kept being served to the neighboring table (awkward). Luckily, the neighbors were nice, so we communicated with eye contact for subsequent orders. We finished with ramen. It was rich in flavor with lots of garlic - quite punchy, but ramen after drinking is always good. In the end, I think the ramen was the best at Warm Dusk Izakaya. The bill came out to just under 4,000 yen.
