I found a delicious cheesecake shop in the construction area of JR Osaka Station concourse. I was originally planning to buy their famous cheesecake before catching my Shinkansen back home, but I ended up being drawn to the shop by the long line of people (which is not uncommon, right?). The shop had a variety of cakes besides cheesecakes, which was a pleasant surprise. They were also selling sliced cakes, which was convenient. Do people in Osaka really love cheesecakes? Rikuro Ojisan, Pablo, Forma, and this Deliceuse shop - only Pablo is available in Tokyo, the rest seem to be exclusive to Osaka. I bought only two cakes for a late-night dessert at my hotel. The Deliceuse cheesecake was amazing - it had a retro look but a modern taste. It was creamy and melted in the mouth, leaving a refreshing aftertaste. The tangy apricot jam on top reminded me of old-fashioned cheesecakes. The Apple Crumble cake was like a moist pound cake with chunky apple pieces that added a nice texture. It was not too sweet and elegantly highlighted the apple flavor. I enjoyed them both in my hotel room late at night. This cheesecake is delicious! It's on par with my favorite Morozoff, or maybe even a bit better. I think people in Tokyo would love it too. They should expand to Tokyo or participate in Osaka food fairs!

After leaving Hankyu Department Store, I stopped by this shop, Pasticceria Deliziosa, which is one of the top 100 sweets shops in the West. I visited the day before to check the expiration dates, and on this day I bought about 8 cakes. It's conveniently located on the way to the Osaka Higashi Line.

My eldest son, who commutes to Osaka, stopped by Delices and brought back a cake as a souvenir for Respect for the Aged Day. I was so excited to see what he got, but when I opened the box, it wasn't Delices! I asked him why he didn't get Delices, and he said they only had whole cakes available. Despite the mix-up, the cakes he brought were delicious. The cream puffs were light and fluffy, the Mont Blanc tart had a nice buttery aroma, the chocolate cake was rich and fluffy, and the berry tart was devoured in seconds. Overall, the cakes were all so tasty and I can't wait to visit Delices next time to try more of their offerings.

It is very convenient to use as a souvenir. When you come out of the central ticket gate at Osaka Station and go straight ahead, there is a shop where you can buy high-quality souvenirs. Of course, I chose cheesecake, Mont Blanc, and cream puffs as souvenirs. In addition to the cheesecake, other high-quality sweets are also highly appreciated.

The cheesecake shop located a bit inside JR Osaka Station has a small cheesecake whole for 2,000 yen. Since the sliced ones were sold out right in front of me, I decided to get the smallest whole cake to go. My impression is that it has a refreshing and elegant taste. The rare cheesecake has a hint of lemon acidity, and the bottom tart is soft and easy to eat, truly a sophisticated flavor. It's delicious.

When I went to Osaka, I bought a takeout dessert that was frozen. The ideal way to defrost it is in the refrigerator for 6-7 hours, but I couldn't wait so I let it sit at room temperature for 2-3 hours. It looked like it had a lot of apricot jam on top, which I wasn't sure I would like, but when I tried it, the apricot flavor wasn't too strong and I actually enjoyed it. The cheesecake flavor and the tart base were both delicious, and even though I shared it with two other people, I could have easily eaten half of it on my own. It wasn't too heavy at all. If I go back to Osaka, I might buy it again.

I visited Pasticceria Deliziosa in Osaka for the first time. I purchased Deliziosa and shortcake. The Deliziosa is a rich cheesecake topped with apricot jam, which pairs well and is delicious. The shortcake is pleasantly not too sweet. Thank you for the meal.

I didn't know about this place called Delices, which was featured on "Magic Restaurant," even though it's quite a well-established place. I like cheesecake, so I decided to try it out. I found out that they have a store in Osaka Station, so I went there. It's located near Beard Papa, but a bit off the main path, so there weren't many people and I could buy without waiting in line. I bought Delices (sliced) x2 for 480 yen each, Mont Blanc Tart x2 for 550 yen each, Moelleux Chocolat x2 for 480 yen each, and Tamago Roll (sliced) for 340 yen each (all prices excluding tax). The Delices had a unique texture, without the typical white mold scent, and the combination with apricot jam was excellent. It was a one-of-a-kind cheesecake and very delicious. The Mont Blanc Tart had too much tart and sponge, not enough Mont Blanc cream, so it felt lacking. The Tamago Roll had a simple egg-colored dough, not much egg flavor, and needed more cream. The Moelleux Chocolat had an interesting texture, not quite mousse or sponge. Overall, the Delices was uniquely delicious, but the other items were somewhat lacking in distinctiveness. The staff at the store were very friendly and provided good service.

The moment it enters your mouth, the cheese cake melts with a refreshing balance of the cheese dough and the apricot sauce on top. It is incredibly delicious! They use a special white mold cheese called Brie de Meaux, spreading a rich cheese aroma throughout your mouth. I really wanted to try this famous cheese cake in Osaka, but I'm not familiar with Umeda station... I got lost on the way to the shop, but I'm glad I could buy it in the end! And the cake box is cute too! 😊

I see, this is definitely delicious. I learned about this cheesecake from the TV show "Magical Restaurant". The main store is 'Delicious Minoh Main Store', but there are affiliated stores near convenient stations, which is great. The Osaka store is located right by Osaka Station's central exit. If you pass the Shinkansen ticket counter and the cafe on the right, you will find it. There are places like Goemon Pasta nearby. I often go to Osaka Station, but I didn't know about this cake shop because I don't usually walk down this street. I went around 6 pm on a weekday and the staff were just restocking, so there was plenty of the cheesecake I was looking for. It's a very glossy cheesecake with a beautiful appearance. I was planning to buy a shortcake, but I was more interested in the roll cake, so I chose that. The shelf life of the sliced cakes is only for the same day. When I got home, I immediately tried it. ◆Sliced Delicious (Cheesecake) ¥480 First bite. Huh...? It has a strange taste, or rather, is this cheesecake delicious...? I was wondering, but suddenly it became delicious! It's a cheesecake that becomes more delicious as you eat more, making you want the next bite. I see, it is definitely delicious. But what was that feeling of the first bite? In that sense, maybe this cheesecake is differentiated from others. My partner prefers the upper part, while I prefer the part closer to the tart base, so it might vary depending on the person, but overall, it is a very well-balanced and mysterious cheesecake. It was delicious. ◆Egg Roll Cake ¥340 Personally, I thought this roll cake was exquisite. Delicious! This is my preference. It has a gentle taste, not too sweet. Both the cake and the cream were just right. It was really delicious. However, of course, the highlight seems to be the cheesecake. The box is also cute, so it could be used as a nice gift. I'm glad I discovered this great store. Thank you for the meal♪

A cake shop that has been selected as one of the top 100 shops. It's located inside Osaka Station, which is a bit hard to find. I've been curious about it for a while, but since their cakes need to be refrigerated, I haven't had the chance to buy one until now. I finally got the chance to buy their signature Delicheese cake! It looks beautiful and has a smooth texture. It's rich and delicious without a strong cheese flavor. I couldn't stop myself from finishing it in no time! I would definitely buy it again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal!

I've always wanted to try Deliceuse, but never had the time to go at night. Finally, I was able to make a reservation in advance and visit the place! It takes over 2 hours to get back home, so I bought a cooler bag and eagerly looked forward to the journey back (laughs). When I got home, I immediately tried it! The apricot jam on top was so delicious! It was sweet and sour! It felt like I was eating it after a long time! The tart added a nice texture! The cheese was really smooth ♡ The sweet and sour taste combined with the richness of the cheese and the right amount of saltiness was really delicious! Bringing it back home is risky, but I will definitely buy it again when I come to Osaka next time! I will also buy it as a snack when I stay in Osaka!

After work, I wandered around Osaka Station. Inside, Harapoppo looked delicious, and outside, there was a long line at Beard Papa's. But I remembered seeing Delices on the local gourmet show Mahoresu (Kansai local gourmet show hosted by Mizuno Maki). This cheesecake called "Delices" uses plenty of high-quality white mold cheese and has a good reputation. I could go to the store in Minoh, but this place is more affordable and less crowded. In addition to whole cakes (large, medium, small), they also have slices, chocolate cake, apricot, and more. I tried the Delices, chocolate cake, and apricot. The Delices was indeed a popular item, with a refreshing tanginess from the jam on top. According to a child who tried the chocolate cake, they liked it even more than the Delices. The apricot was small, with apricots on top of a pie crust, and the acidity was delightful. As I write this review, I just found out they are one of the top 100 stores, but there are still few customers and the staff is efficient, so it's a recommended spot where you won't have to wait long. It's a great idea to buy your favorite cake and enjoy it as dessert on the Shinkansen ride home with your family (or alone), especially since onboard sales are apparently being discontinued.

Located near Osaka Station, it is convenient to buy and take away quickly. There is always a bit of a line, but the flow is fast. I also want to try the shortcake, but Delice is the best choice. This time I got a small whole cake for ¥2000, which is just right for 3-4 people. The cross-section when sliced is irresistible. The rich cheese flavor harmonizes perfectly with the sweet and sour apricot jam. The tart crust at the bottom is not too hard, but soft and delicious. It is a dessert that goes well with alcohol. They also have a point card, which is nice.

For my birthday present, they bought me a larger cheesecake than usual! Each slice is bigger too. It's a rare cheesecake but slightly firm and still delicious! The apricot sauce adds a nice touch of acidity. Even though it's big, I finished it in no time.

"Pasticheria Delicieux Osaka Store" in Kita-ku, Osaka City, is the go-to place for sweets souvenirs near Osaka Station. Located about a 3-minute walk from the central ticket gate of JR Osaka Station, this store is for takeout only, with no seating area. The items purchased today were the "Delicieux (cut)" (480 yen tax included), "Tamago Roll (cut)" (340 yen tax included), and "Tarte Raisin" (550 yen tax included). The "Delicieux (cut)" is a baked cheese with a rare cheesecake-like texture, topped with plenty of sweet and sour apricot jam. The "Tamago Roll (cut)" is not too sweet, making it easy to eat as much as you want. However, the amount of cream and cake varies depending on where you cut it, as I found out when I opened the box at home and saw that only half of it had cream. The "Tarte Raisin" is a delightful combination of tart with custard cream, whipped cream, and grapes on top of a tart, with a perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. This was my second visit, and as expected from a store selected as one of the "Tabelog Sweets WEST Top 100 Stores 2022," the sweets were incredibly delicious. It would be nice if they could provide some product descriptions though, as it would be helpful when giving them as gifts and explaining to others. Overall, it's a high-end store, and I hope they consider this from a customer's perspective. ■ "Pasticheria Delicieux Osaka Store" ■ Business Hours: 10:00-20:00 ■ Closed: None ■ Address: 3-1-1 Umeda, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka

Delices ¥480 Strawberry Shortcake ¥480 Moulin Chocolat ¥480 I have only used the Minoh main store before, and this is my first time buying at Osaka Station. Delices is consistently delicious... a moist and rich cheesecake with apricot jam on top, on a crispy tart. It's rich but not too heavy, I could eat as much as I want... this cheesecake is top level and my favorite. It was my first time trying Moulin Chocolat, the top layer was crispy, and the bottom part was not as fluffy as sponge cake but had a slightly sticky texture with chocolate. There were some small chocolates inside, simple and delicious!! But for me, Delices is the only choice. Probably the cake shop I repeat the most (Minoh main store), but I never get tired of their cheesecake. I heard that you can also eat cheesecake at the Delicafe across the street.

After having dinner at Osaka Station, I moved to a hotel in Juso. Before that, I went to this restaurant that I had seen on social media but couldn't find the location. It was located on the right side of the hallway towards the green window. It was evening, so they had limited items left, but the signature cheesecake was still available! The Delicheese cheesecake for 480 yen was delicious, with a strong cheese flavor that cheese lovers will enjoy. The Tamago Roll for 340 yen had a thickly baked crust rolled with cream, giving a strong egg flavor. This shop's specialty is definitely their cheesecake, and the cute packaging makes it a great gift as well.

It is located inside Osaka Station. I bought it before transferring at Osaka Station to take the Shinkansen. There was also a dining area, but I decided to get a slice of cheesecake to go. The slice of cheesecake was a large size, about 1/10 of the whole cake. If you plan to carry it for 2 hours, you have to pay 70 yen for a cooling pack. If you plan to carry it for longer, you have to purchase a cooling bag at a higher price. Even though I knew it would take longer on the Shinkansen, I opted for the 70 yen cooling pack for 2 hours. They packed it in a paper bag, which was convenient for carrying around. When I got home and opened the paper bag, I was surprised to see how big the cooling pack was, about 17cm tall. It was worth the 70 yen. Since it seems reusable, I was happy about that. I stored the cheesecake in the fridge and ended up eating it in the middle of the night. The taste was a bit different than I expected. The apricot jam had quite an impact, giving it a sweet and sour flavor.

After finishing work, I happened to pass by Deliceuse in Osaka Station and there was no line, so I bought souvenirs for my family. I thought there would be long lines at the end of work, but maybe I just got lucky with the timing? I purchased the signature Deliceuse, egg roll, and Mont Blanc tart. I don't eat sweets much myself, so I can't provide a review, but it's convenient for souvenirs being located inside Osaka Station.

There was a shop in JR Osaka Station that I had been curious about for a while. They are famous for their cheesecake. I was undecided about which cake to get for my family, but I ended up choosing the Délicieux, which is a chocolate cake. The combination of the sweet and sour apricot sauce on top and the mildly sweet cheesecake base was delicious. My family also tried the Moelleux Chocolat and they said it was not too sweet and very tasty. A new branch is opening soon near a nearby station, so I'll probably be buying from them more often.
