Today I went to Ibaraki. Ibaraki is a place I used to commute to every day during high school, and also a place I visited to get my driver's license as an adult. When I arrived at Ibaraki City Station after a long time, it seemed like it had changed but also stayed the same (^◇^;) I couldn't quite recall the old days as I entered the restaurant. I arrived at the restaurant at 7:00 pm. The restaurant is located about a 3-minute walk from Hankyu Ibaraki City Station, on the fourth floor of a building along the railway tracks on the north side of the station. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by numerous autographs of celebrities (((o(*゚▽゚*)o))) It seems like many famous people have visited. The interior of the restaurant has a counter facing the kitchen, about three box-type table seats, and one private room. And there seems to be a spacious tatami room in the back as well, like a large banquet hall. The menu mainly consists of seafood, meat, fried food, side dishes for alcohol, and hot pot dishes. I ordered some items that were recommended. The prices on the menu seemed a bit high, but the dishes were surprisingly generous in portion size, and considering the quality, they were quite reasonable (*´∀`)♪ Especially the seafood dishes were exceptionally delicious (*≧∀≦*) If you want to try a variety of dishes, it's recommended to visit with about four people. The restaurant was always bustling, showing that it is loved by the locals. Maybe even some of my classmates were there? Thank you for the meal.<Food>Prices do not include tax○Otoshi (price unknown) ... Firefly squid and raw octopus with vinegar miso dressing. It was unexpectedly the first firefly squid of the year (*≧∀≦*) I like ginger soy sauce, but I prefer vinegar miso dressing (*´∀`)♪◎Luxurious sashimi assortment (1,820 yen) ... A truly luxurious assortment (*≧∀≦*) There were three types of tuna alone, lean, medium fatty, and fatty tuna, and since it was raw tuna, even the lean part was rich in flavor and delicious~(*´Д`*) Among others, there were fatty bonito, turban shell, salmon roe, salmon, seared octopus, octopus suckers, and more! Especially the tuna and octopus suckers were delicious.○Chicken meatball with ponzu sauce (860 yen) ... I thought meatballs were served with sauce or salt, but ponzu sauce was also refreshing and nice (*´∀`)♪ It was more like chicken dumplings in a pot than grilled skewers.◎Special dashimaki (860 yen) ... It was a jumbo-sized prawn fry that seemed to be about three times the size of a regular shrimp fry (*≧∀≦*) I wasn't satisfied with the shrimp tempura I had at a certain restaurant for lunch the other day, so I wanted to eat a substantial amount of shrimp, and I was very satisfied (*´∀`)♪ It came with tartar sauce and regular sauce, so I could enjoy it without getting tired of the taste.○Chicken noodle soup (860 yen) ... A slightly thick and flat type of noodle soup. The broth was rich, and the sweetness of the onion permeated gently, creating a gentle flavor.◎Umeboshi-wrapped princess leek (960 yen) ...
