Last time I visited this place was 7 years ago. Even though I made a reservation two weeks in advance, the only available time slots were between 4pm-5pm or after 8:30pm due to its popularity. I made a reservation for 8:30pm on a weekend. The seating is limited to 2 hours. They use charcoal grills for cooking.

The daikon salad is generous in portion for its price, with a light Japanese dressing perfect as an appetizer. The kimchi has a distinctive seafood aroma and flavor, pickled style with plenty of moisture and not too spicy. Moving on to the grilled meat, there are two dipping sauces - ponzu and a sweet, light sauce. The rice is on the softer side. The harami tare is lean and light on fat. The salted upper harami has more fat compared to regular harami, making it softer and slightly watery. The tetsu assorted includes melt-in-your-mouth small intestine, chewy large intestine with a nice skin texture. The hormone dishes are fresh without any unpleasant odor. The elusive karubi is quickly seared for 30 seconds. The meat melts instantly and the fat is just enough to enhance the flavor. However, those who dislike raw fat might find it challenging. The Marushin has a savory lean meat flavor, complemented by a refreshing wasabi. The roast, recommended by the staff, is thickly cut for a satisfying bite but lacks in flavor. The bone-in triangular karubi is thinly sliced and cooks quickly. The meat around the bone is undoubtedly delicious. The bibimbap, available in regular and small sizes, is surprisingly large in portion. It has a modest amount of ingredients compared to the rice, but offers good value. The taste is light and refreshing, like eating vegetables on top of white rice. The cold noodles are average, with firm and slightly chewy noodles that I personally didn't enjoy. The broth is also light. The freshness of the meat is evident from its appearance. Given the popularity of the restaurant, the meat keeps coming out continuously. However, the richness of the meat is not very pronounced. The side dishes, salads, rice dishes, and drinks are quite affordable, but the portion of meat per plate is on the smaller side, so overall, the cost performance is average. Additionally, the seating is limited to 2 hours, and last order is taken around 40 minutes before. The turnover is quick and efficient. Drinks include black oolong tea and lemon sour, with each person having 2-3 drinks. This place is good for those who want to quickly enjoy fresh meat. However, considering the difficulty in making reservations during peak hours and the taste and service quality, I probably won't visit again.
