This is a coffee specialty shop located in Takatori Shopping Street in Fujisaki. Just as I was told by an acquaintance, "Tea is good, but it's also nice to occasionally drink delicious coffee to expand your palate," I happened to discover it while strolling through the shopping street. It is located next to the supermarket (Sunny) in the Fujisaki Shopping Street, across from a Baskin Robbins. There is no dedicated parking lot, but there is a coin parking nearby. The interior of the shop is bright with glass windows letting in light. There are 8 counter seats, one 2-seater table, three 3-seater tables, and four 4-seater tables. Various types of teacups and coffee pots are displayed on the counter. They offer a variety of coffees such as blends, specialty coffees (cafe au lait, Viennese coffee, etc.), single origin coffees (Tanzania, Santos, etc.), as well as teas, juices, coffee jelly, etc. The prices are a bit high, ranging from 700 to 1,000 yen. They have two types of cakes (chocolate, cheese) and one daily recommendation, each priced at 300 yen. Despite my initial concern about the glass windows making the interior visible from outside, once I sat at a table, I found that I wasn't bothered at all by the people passing by in a hurry with their shopping bags (laughs). Today's recommended cake was a buttery pound cake served with whipped cream. As for the coffee, being completely clueless about it, I ordered a coffee with low acidity and was recommended the soft blend, which I ordered. The coffee, meticulously brewed one cup at a time using a pour-over method, had a smooth taste with low acidity and bitterness. Even though I don't drink much coffee, I really enjoyed this one. All the desserts here are homemade and can also be taken to go. Although the prices are a bit high, there are magazines and newspapers available in the central area of the shop, making it a great place for those who want to relax alone.
