I visited the restaurant while waiting to watch the procession of the Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine's annual festival. I ordered the chestnut Mont Blanc dessert. The preparation was quick, with the chestnut being squeezed into a decoration in about 20 seconds. The chestnut Mont Blanc consisted of meringue as the base, soft serve ice cream surrounded by finely squeezed Mont Blanc (1mm wide) on top. It looked very appealing. The dessert was served with a special spoon that easily cut through the meringue. When I tasted it, the spoon smoothly entered, stopped at the meringue, and then I pushed through to enjoy the rich flavor of the chestnut, followed by the cold soft serve adding another layer of richness, and finally the texture of the meringue. It was delicious! I felt like I had a great treat while waiting for the procession. It was really tasty. Thank you for the meal.

This is my wife's impression (^人^) She doesn't eat sweets much...not that she dislikes them \(//∇//)\ She came here because she was interested on Instagram. The Mont Blanc here has a very short expiration date of 5 minutes, so if you eat slowly, you might not make it in time! She said it was just delicious. Thank you for the meal!

This is a shop on the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine that serves freshly squeezed Mont Blanc desserts. I visited around 2 pm on a weekday and there were 4.5 groups in line. The shop only has standing counters inside. It took a little time to be served, possibly due to the performance of squeezing Mont Blanc cream right in front of you. The taste was delicious, with crispy meringue, ice cream, and Mont Blanc cream that matched well together.

I found it in a guidebook... I want to eat it! But it looks like there might be a line... Around 10:30, when I passed by, there was nobody in front? What a chance! I bought a food ticket from the vending machine for 1000 yen for the Mont Blanc with Japanese chestnuts and gold threads. I topped the meringue with soft serve ice cream and squeezed on the Japanese chestnut cream, adding on some chestnut skins! I ate it standing at the counter. There was also self-service lemon water for hydration. The Japanese chestnut cream had a nice bitterness to it, allowing you to savor the flavor of the chestnuts. The soft serve ice cream inside was not too sweet, complementing the chestnuts well. The crispy meringue added a nice texture contrast, making it a delicious Mont Blanc. By the time we left, there was suddenly a crowd in front of the store! After that, we visited Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine and drew a water fortune... and got great luck!

It is located on the way to Dazaifu. I went there in the early afternoon, and it wasn't too crowded. The Mont Blanc is like soft serve ice cream with Mont Blanc strings drizzled on top. The taste is delicious, but it makes your throat dry instantly. It's hard to say if the price of 1000 yen is reasonable.

Chestnut Mont Blanc is delicious. It's not too sweet and very elegant. If you go to Dazaifu, you must try it if you like Mont Blanc. It's exciting to watch them make it right in front of you and then enjoy it. The meringue inside the ice cream is crispy and adds a different texture, giving a slight change in flavor, which was really nice.

Employee trip to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. Went to a shop called Koka located nearby to try their Mont Blanc with a 5-minute expiration date. Purchased a ticket for the Mont Blanc at the ticket machine in front of the shop. Presented the ticket to the staff inside the shop. It is a stand-up style shop. This time, I got a take-out Amaou strawberry Mont Blanc shake. It was exciting to watch the process of making it up close, which added to the entertainment factor. The presentation was luxurious, reminiscent of high-end soft serve ice cream. The gold thread Mont Blanc had a good mouthfeel and was not too sweet. The soft serve ice cream did not overpower the Mont Blanc flavor, as it was not too rich and had a subtle sweetness. It was delicious and perfect for Instagram, sure to impress first-time visitors. ✨

Located about 3 minutes from Dazaifu Station, along Tenjin-sama Street, is a stylish shop called "Kagunokonomi". When it opened in 2020, it was so busy that there were long lines, but now it seems to have finally calmed down, with only about a 5-minute wait to enter. You buy a ticket from the vending machine before entering, and all the Mont Blanc desserts look delicious, making it hard to choose. In the eat-in section, they offer "Japanese chestnut gold thread Mont Blanc", "Limited-time mango Mont Blanc", and "Kanazawa Yame Hoshino Village matcha Mont Blanc". For takeout, they have "Certified Japanese chestnut Mont Blanc" and "Amaou Mont Blanc". You eat standing at the counter, and when a seat opened up, I entered right away. I handed my ticket to the staff, who squeezed the paste right in front of me, and I even took a video of it. The paste coming out at a thickness of 1mm was delicate and looked delicious! Once the Mont Blanc was ready, I took it to the counter. This time, I tried the "Japanese chestnut gold thread Mont Blanc". The Japanese chestnut paste was so delicate that it crumbled, and when you put it in your mouth, it was very smooth due to its thinness. Inside the Mont Blanc is soft serve ice cream. It has a 5-minute expiration date because it melts quickly. Understandable. The Japanese chestnut on top was delicious, and the soft serve ice cream had a light texture that was not overwhelming, despite being voluminous. The Mont Blanc paste has less sugar because they want you to taste the Japanese chestnut. Maybe that's why it's not too sweet and you don't get tired of it. Understandable. The reason for the line was understandable with the delicious Japanese chestnut gold thread Mont Blanc. Thank you for the meal!

On the way back from visiting Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, we stopped by a place called Kagunokonomi. It was quite crowded on the approach due to the sunny weekend in spring. My companion was curious about this place since we arrived. I wondered how to pronounce it, and it turns out it's pronounced "Kagunokonomi." Although it was extremely busy when we arrived, it was a bit less crowded when we passed by on our way back, probably because it was lunchtime and everyone was having their meals. We decided to stop by. The system was to buy a ticket from the vending machine and then enter the shop. Inside, we handed over the ticket and received a half ticket to wait to be called. When called, you can watch them make your Mont Blanc in front of the squeezer. I bought the limited edition Fukuoka-grown Amaou strawberry Mont Blanc for ¥1000. Other Mont Blancs were also priced at ¥1000 each and included meringue and smooth soft serve ice cream inside. The expiration date was 5 minutes, so it melts quickly! The shop was packed with a single line of 10 people standing. It felt a bit pricey, probably because it was a standing-only place. Overall, it was a unique experience.

During my trip to Fukuoka, I visited this place for the first time. This time, I ordered the "Matcha Mont Blanc" and my friend ordered the "Strawberry Mont Blanc". It was exciting to watch the Mont Blanc being piped right in front of us. The interior of the shop had a standing style where a few people could eat, and it was a slightly stylish space. The price of 1,000 yen per piece seemed a bit high, but considering it's a tourist area, it didn't bother us much.

It was my first time visiting this shop! It was my first time in Dazaifu and my first time trying this confectionery. It was impressive to see them make it right in front of me. I could really taste and smell the chestnut flavor, it was delicious. It paired well with the soft serve ice cream inside. Thank you for the meal!

I tried it for the first time and it was very delicious! The staff were all very friendly and even paid attention to the angles when taking photos of the food. I was impressed! The service at a restaurant is like magic that makes the food taste even better. I definitely want to visit again when I go to Dazaifu. The taste of Amaou was also strong, it was an amazing dish.

I visited a new shop called "Kagunokonomi" that opened at the end of 2020 in Dazaifu City, Fukuoka Prefecture and I was curious about it. This place is a Mont Blanc specialty store known for its unique appearance resembling thin threads. Mont Blanc desserts like these have been really popular lately. I ordered the classic Kumamoto-grown Kinshiro chestnut Mont Blanc, while my partner ordered the Kinshiro Mont Blanc with Amaou strawberries. The ordering process involves purchasing a food ticket at the store, which is then handed to the staff who will make the dessert right in front of you. The staff were kind and helpful, especially towards foreign travelers who may not be familiar with the system. We ate inside where there is seating available. The Mont Blanc was moist and delicate, with a soft serve cream inside making it easy to eat. It had a rich chestnut flavor and was delicious. Although priced at 1000 yen each, it was worth it. Thank you for the meal.

I stopped by when I went on a food tour in Dazaifu. There was a sign for a delicious chestnut Mont Blanc. They make it right in front of you so you can enjoy watching. The freshly made Mont Blanc had a very smooth texture and was easy to eat.

The restaurant looked amazing, but the excitement quickly faded once I started eating. The staff were efficient, but the food was dry, not tasty, and overall felt cheap for the price. It seems to be a common experience in tourist areas. Give it a try if you're curious!

I came back again. After visiting Dazaifu, I always crave for the Mont Blanc here. The Mont Blanc here has a strong chestnut flavor and is more delicious than any other Mont Blanc. However, it is quite expensive at around 1000 yen each, so it's a high-end sweet!笑

A specialty Mont Blanc store? I stopped by while sightseeing in Dazaifu. They make Mont Blanc right in front of you. The price is quite high, but the deliciousness is worth it. It's quite generous in portion with lots of cream. It has a trendy vibe and feels like it could become popular.

On my way back from Kurume City to Hakata, I stopped by Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine. I have no interest in academic pursuits, but I visited anyway (lol). It's delicious. However, I'm sorry but I thought 1000 yen was expensive. It seems like they use Japanese chestnuts.

While visiting Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, I tried the Mont Blanc dessert made with Japanese chestnuts for 1000 yen. It consisted of Mont Blanc on top of soft serve ice cream. As I ate it, I discovered some crunchy parts and even found meringue inside. Although it was a bit pricey due to being at a tourist spot, it was delicious.

I purchased one piece each of the classic and matcha flavors, considering my stomach condition. I watched as the Mont Blanc was beautifully assembled in front of me for the first time, which got me excited. The ice cream version looked perfect for enjoying in the summer, while it would also be delicious in the fall and winter. It seems like it would be well-received on a date or special occasion.
