I thought I could get in without going so early, but the restaurant was full! Customers kept coming in one after another. There was only one woman managing the whole place, which was amazing. I ordered three lunch sets, Yum Woon Sen, and fresh spring rolls. It's great that you can choose the level of spiciness. You can even choose the spiciness for the Yum Woon Sen dish alone! I highly recommend the Yum Woon Sen and Massaman Curry.

I ordered Kaomangai for the first time at this restaurant, aside from my usual choice of Gapao. I asked for it to be a bit spicier since it was only level 1 spiciness. It came with a sauce that highlighted the red chili peppers. It was spicy, but still good. My tongue tingled, but strangely, I could keep eating more. It took a while for the Tom Yum Kung to arrive, but it was delicious until the end. Thank you for the meal.

Visited for lunch after finishing my nails. It's hot outside and I was craving for some ethnic food, so I walked a bit from the salon to get here. This ethnic restaurant seems to be quite popular in Sapporo. It's a bit hard to find on the 2nd floor of a building, but once I arrived, there were a few groups of customers already there. The hallway of the building didn't seem to have air conditioning, so I was a bit worried, but I was quickly seated and didn't have to wait long to get in. Since I was alone, I was seated at the counter near the entrance. I couldn't decide between Gapaow and curry, but in the end, I went with the Massaman curry set. I realized I haven't had curry in a while... The set came with salad and soup. I ordered orange juice for my drink, which was served along with the meal. The portion of the curry was quite huge! And the soup was Tom Yum Kung, which was a pleasant surprise! It's been a while since I had Tom Yum Kung, as it's usually too spicy for me unless I'm with someone who likes spicy food. The sour and spicy soup was refreshing and not too spicy, so I could enjoy it comfortably. However, the dressing on the salad was extremely spicy! I almost choked on it, but managed to eat it slowly. The curry had tender chicken wings cooked with potatoes, carrots, and onions. The coconut flavor added a nice touch of ethnicity and it was delicious. Plus, there was plenty of curry sauce, so I could enjoy it generously without worrying about running out. It was a great experience to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine after a long time. It was a long-awaited lunch. I was interested in both the green curry and the kao man gai, but I started with the gapao! There are four types of gapao alone. The classic chicken or seafood... I'll go with chicken, level 3 spiciness. The salad had a flavor similar to yam wun sen, spicy. The incredibly delicious tom yum goong soup, spicy. The gapao, spicy. But delicious!! Especially the soup was delicious, and although it's bad manners, when I added rice and ate it, it was irresistible. I am very satisfied. I enjoyed my meal today as well. This was my first time trying Thai food. I ordered Pad Thai, which I had heard of before. My companion ordered Kapao with a spice level of 4. I enjoyed the Pad Thai as it was, and then adjusted the flavor using the condiments provided. It was delicious. I also tried a bite of the Kapao, which was extremely spicy. When we arrived at 5:00 PM on Saturday, there were no other customers, but the restaurant quickly filled up within 40 minutes. Thank you for the meal.

The lunch set with Gapao Gai, Laad Khao Spicy 3 Salad, soup, and drink included costs 1,200 yen. The Pad Thai set is also available for 1,100 yen. The salad dressing was spicy, but the prices were reasonable and the food was delicious! Payment was cash only.

The lunch prices at Siam have gone up quite a bit. Lunch used to be mostly under 1000 yen. The taste is still delicious though. I chose the pork red curry, and I forgot it came with tom yum soup too. Both are spicy, so my tongue won't get a break haha. Next time, I'll go for the Massaman curry. Thai cuisine in Hokkaido is always a good choice.

SIAM Daitsu Store. A restaurant where you can enjoy authentic Thai cuisine. It may be slightly catered towards Japanese taste, but the spiciness and heat are authentic. Just looking at the photos makes you feel like you'll break a sweat. Ethnic dishes enjoyed with Chang beer are a must-try.

I lined up from 11:50 on Sunday and entered at 12:25. It's a popular restaurant! The Pad Thai was okay, not bad, but the Yum Woon Sen for takeout was very delicious. Next time, I want to try other popular dishes like Green Curry.

It's Monday lunch. I went to Siam for an ethnic lunch that I've been curious about for a while. Located on the 2nd floor of the Postal Ministry building, there were several food and beverage outlets when I went up. There were no other customers as it was still before noon. I became the first customer of the day. I sat at the table farthest back and looked at the menu. The lunch comes with soup, salad, and a drink. I chose the Basil Chicken Stir-Fry with Rice and Fried Egg, and the Gapao Gai and Lard Khao (1,200 yen). I opted for level 3 spiciness and chose Tapioca Coconut Milk for my drink. Soon after, female customers started coming in one after another. It seems that women tend to like ethnic cuisine. I think it's similar to Korean food, but there may be differences in spices other than chili peppers. The food arrived shortly. It consisted of Basmati rice, chicken stir-fry with onions, bell peppers, chili peppers, basil, and cucumber on a flat plate. It was quite spicy and the basil flavor was nice. The saltiness was quite strong. I added some fish sauce to enhance the flavor. The soup was Tom Yum Gai, which had a nice tangy flavor. The salad was pretty ordinary. I finished everything quickly. The Genkiya Green Curry was delicious. I chose level 3 spiciness out of the 4 levels available. The curry had a lot of green and red chilies, so I had to remove some of them to eat. It was really spicy, but the heat from the chilies was amazing. I couldn't stop tearing up, but overall, it was a great experience.

Gapao Gai. Located on Nami Ichiden Street. When I went there in the snow, there was a line for one group, but I was seated quickly. My Gapao experience started here. Today, I had Gapao again after a long time. It became a set with a drink or dessert. Maybe because it's Saturday. I chose oolong tea. The salad dressing was spicy. The soup was also spicy. I ordered level 3 for the Gapao, so it was still okay. It was delicious as always. I enjoyed it while adding fish sauce. The soup was too spicy and didn't serve as a break between bites. Thank you for the meal. It was delicious. The service was also good.

There are several Thai restaurants in the vicinity of the main street. This one is located on the second floor of a building, so it is a bright restaurant. Crab fried rice for 1300 yen, with shredded crab on top. You can enjoy it by adding fish sauce for a different taste. For lunch, it comes with Tom Yum Kung, salad, and tapioca milk.

I chose level 3 spiciness, and it was quite spicy as I was told. Maybe I should have gone with level 2. I tried my best to eat the papaya salad and Tom Yum soup - they tasted delicious. The beef tendon noodle soup was delicious too. The condiments were brought to me, but it was so tasty that I forgot to add them. The Tom Yum soup had large shrimp which was satisfying to eat. To reset the spiciness in my mouth, I had coconut ice cream. It didn't have any chunks of coconut in it, but the coconut aroma and the milk helped soothe me.

My partner isn't good at Thai cuisine, so I went to dinner alone. I arrived around 6 o'clock, but it seems they were fully booked with reservations. Since I was alone, I was able to sit at the counter. It felt cozy being by the door, slightly enclosed. I ordered Pad Thai and fresh spring rolls. I really wanted to try the Yam Wun Sen and stir-fried water spinach, but since I was alone, I settled for just two dishes today. I wish I could come for lunch, as I would be able to try more dishes, but unfortunately, their opening hours don't allow for it. I hope to visit again someday. The food was delicious. Siam Dori in Sapporo. I ordered the Green Curry with Chicken (1050 yen) with a spice level of 3 out of 4. It was delicious and spicy, with lots of chili peppers at the bottom. The curry was refreshing and tasty. I usually go to this place for Thai food, so I forgot to take a picture. It took about 15 minutes from ordering to serving. It was past 1 PM on a holiday and the restaurant was almost full.

After watching the Yosakoi festival, I felt like eating something delicious so I decided to stop by Siam. This time, I chose the Massaman curry lunch set. It came with a salad, soup, and mini dessert. The curry was not too spicy and very delicious. The dressing for the salad and the soup were surprisingly spicy but tasty. There were many other menu items that caught my eye, so I would like to go back again!

For breakfast, I had Seven Eleven's frozen cup rice, Tom Yum Kung Rice (which was incredibly delicious). I was in a full Thai mood after that. I ended up going to this restaurant for dinner. I visited at 5 pm and when asked if I had a reservation, I said no. They said I could be seated within one or two hours. It seems like a very popular restaurant and reservations are probably necessary. I ordered Tom Yum Kung, of course. The menu had spice levels from 1 to 4, and I chose level 3. It was comfortably spicy. The authentic Tom Yum Kung made by Thai chefs was amazing. I also had my favorite stir-fried water spinach, which was satisfying in terms of portion and flavor. The stir-fried clams had a few dead ones, but the taste was good, and the fresh spring rolls were just like the ones I had in Thailand. I had a great time during my one-hour visit. I will definitely come back for the water spinach!

When it comes to deciding what to have for dinner, I always go to a Thai restaurant. Despite not being a fan of cilantro, they can adjust the amount for me. The dishes are close to authentic but cater to Japanese taste buds. I highly recommend the Kutsinsai (stir-fry) and Kairukui (fried eggs). The spiciness can vary from mild to quite hot, so be cautious ⚠️ The staff is also very friendly.
