I visited on a Sunday night. The restaurant was almost full, so reservations are essential on weekends. You have to take off your shoes at the entrance. The interior is spacious with wide spaces between tables, allowing for a relaxing experience. On this day, we were seated at a sunken table in the back of the restaurant, which was comfortable. The service was excellent as always. It had been a while since my last visit, but the food was delicious. I was interested in trying the limited-time special menu, but I was too full from the course meal to order it. Maybe next time.

I visited for dinner. There are private tatami rooms so you can relax and enjoy your meal comfortably. The crab porridge served at the end of the hot pot was incredibly delicious. I often get takeout from here, and my favorite is the crab miso sushi. The exterior and interior of the restaurant are also beautiful.

We went to Kanidouraku Toyonaka with our family for our eldest son's birthday. We always enjoy coming here as it is close to our home. As usual, we made a reservation in advance and requested to have 2 whole chilled hairy crabs prepared for us. We love the chilled hairy crabs, but sometimes we end up eating too much and feeling too full by the end of the meal. This time, we splurged and ordered 2 instead of the usual 1, which made us even more stuffed than usual. The kids always look forward to coming to Kanidouraku because they get coloring pencils and activity sheets related to crabs, which they love. The restaurant is also convenient for my elderly mother as she can sit comfortably at the sunken kotatsu table. We also received a birthday gift which made the celebration even more special. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I love Kanidouraku so much! It's really delicious, right? When it comes to eating crab, Kanidouraku is the best! In my opinion, the Itami branch is the best! This time, I came to the Toyonaka branch for some reason, and it was pretty good! Thank you for the delicious food. The seating area is spacious and it's the ultimate relaxing space. Kani Doraku, have you ever been there before or not? We visited as a family to celebrate my daughter's Shichi-Go-San. The big moving crab got my 3-year-old daughter all excited with a "Wow!" The restaurant had a high ceiling, bright and calm atmosphere, with a flowing stream and a traditional Japanese inn-like ambiance. We were seated in a semi-private sunken kotatsu table. They even took a commemorative photo for the celebration. There were different course options, with the adult course around 4,000 yen. My daughter had a kids' meal. The dishes included boiled crab, chawanmushi, gratin, and hot pot. The food was as expected and of good quality. It seemed like a popular spot for families. It's perfect for a slightly formal celebration. My daughter also received crab senbei as a souvenir, which was very convenient.

Despite the rainy weather during the Bon holiday, I decided to lift my spirits by indulging in a luxurious crab course meal that I had reserved in advance. The course included various crab dishes such as Taraba crab vinegar, Zuwai crab vinegar, crab miso dressing salad, a colorful assortment of crab sashimi, crab leg broiled with lemon and kombu salt, crab claw sashimi with special sesame ponzu sauce, crab chawanmushi, Golden King Crab with mushroom sauce, and a decadent crab roll sushi. Each dish was delicious in its own way, but my favorite was the broiled crab leg with lemon and kombu salt. The rich and creamy Golden King Crab with mushroom sauce was also a standout. The crab roll sushi was a luxurious treat with crab both inside and outside the roll. The meal ended with a refreshing green tea ice cream. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience!

My son wanted to go there, so I suggested Kanisuki and sashimi, which were delicious. However, if you're not a big fan of crab, it might be a bit tough as the menu mainly consists of crab dishes. Nevertheless, the atmosphere is nice and the service is good, so I quite like this restaurant.

Crab indulgence on the Romantic Road. We splurged a little on a nice course for my mother's 60th birthday celebration. We reserved a private room with a sunken kotatsu table. It was nice to have a private room for just the two of us during the pandemic. The speed of food service was impressive this time. The young server taking care of us seemed to not pay attention to the progress of our meal. Right after we started eating, they immediately lit the fire for the kamameshi without asking. It was too early, so we asked for a slower pace, but it wasn't improved afterwards... The food was delicious and the other services were good, so it was disappointing.

I came to the Toyonaka store for the special kani (crab) feast featuring five colorful dishes made with extra large crab. The restaurant staff made sure to seat customers with distance between them until it got crowded. I decided on the Mizukagami course because I wanted to try the kani kamameshi, and added a half grilled crab. The transparent vinyl bag was a gift from the staff, which I used to store my mask. The appetizers were kani vinegar and salad with crab miso dressing, followed by the delicious half grilled crab. The aroma of the grilled crab was enticing. The colorful assortment of five crab dishes was satisfying and tasty. The crab leg grilled with frost was a limited edition highlight. The kani chawanmushi and herb-grilled crab were also delightful. The extra large crab tempura was a favorite, and the kani kama meshi was a real treat. The meal ended with green tea ice cream. Thank you for the delicious feast!

I wanted to eat crab kamameshi, so I went to Kanidouraku. They have reopened for business since May 7th. This time, I made a reservation for 11:30. The seating was in a hori-gotatsu style room, and there was no one else there. Kanidouraku is celebrating its 60th anniversary, and I am turning 60... what a coincidence! I decided on the Saiki course, which comes with crab kamameshi. The menu included crab vinegar, assorted sashimi, crab gratin, grilled crab, crab tempura, crab kamameshi, pickles, and soup. The crab kamameshi was the highlight of the meal, and it was delicious. I even had a second round by turning it into ochazuke with the soup. Overall, it was a luxurious dining experience.

Today, we had a family gathering at Kanidouraku in Toyonaka. It's a special place that we don't get to visit often as a family. The restaurant is located near the Romantic Road in Toyonaka, just off the Chuo Ring Line. If you're taking public transportation, the nearest station is the Monorail Shojaku Station. We ordered the Crab Kaiseki <Ougi> (5280 yen including tax). The course included appetizers, crab vinegar, sashimi, crab chawanmushi, grilled crab, crab tempura, crab rice, pickles, soup, and dessert. The lineup of crab dishes was delicious and satisfying. The restaurant is spacious, allowing us to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace, and the service was attentive. It's a classic restaurant, but for crab lovers like us, the satisfaction level is high.

My wife's siblings and parents, who live in different places, gathered in Osaka, so my wife and I joined them. We decided to eat something delicious, so we all met up at Kani Doraku! Kani Doraku has branches in various locations, from Osaka Dotonbori to Hamamatsu, the Chugoku/Shikoku region, and even the Kanto region. As we headed upstairs, we passed by a fish tank and made our way to the reserved room. There were six of us in total, and we had the room to ourselves. Whenever I come to this restaurant, I always say, "Today, it's my treat, so please enjoy lots of delicious food." ...Oops, I said it again (laughs). Kani Irodori Zuke Course Meal - Available until September 30th (limited quantity) This seemed to be the highlight, so we decided on this Kani Irodori Zuke Course Meal. The luxurious and delicious course meal began with appetizers like crab vinegar and salad with crab miso dressing. Kani Irodori Zuke Six Variety Assortment This time, the biggest attraction was the sashimi. This assortment of six varieties of sashimi was made using large snow crabs, with each piece meticulously prepared to bring out the rich flavors. The seared sashimi in particular was delicious. However, the most impressive dish was this one! The extra-large claw sashimi, enjoyed with sesame ponzu sauce infused with crab miso, was the best in terms of both volume and flavor. I was so moved by it that I considered visiting again before the end of the promotion period. Crab Chawanmushi and Grilled Crab with Herbs This was my first time trying this dish, and the herb flavor was pleasantly spicy and paired well with the crab meat. I hope this becomes a regular menu item. Crab Tempura and Crab Kamameshi I love crab kamameshi. The crab kamameshi with grilled crab in the soup was exceptionally delicious, with the smoky aroma spreading throughout the soup. This was the most delicious soup I've ever had. Crab Kamameshi First, enjoy it as it is. For the second serving, add the broth to make ochazuke. The burnt rice at the bottom was the best (laughs). Matcha Ice Cream with Matcha Sauce The bitterness of the matcha combined with the sweetness of the ice cream, creating a different taste from matcha ice cream - a more mature flavor. After cooling down a bit, the course meal came to an end. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Although the crab course meal with crab rice was tempting, I wanted to fully enjoy the crab, so we decided on Keiju. The appetizer is spring-themed and refreshing. Two types of crab vinegar (snow crab and king crab) The refreshing taste of the crab vinegar goes well with the crab meat. Two types of crab sashimi (snow crab and king crab) We enjoyed the freshness of the crab sashimi and fully appreciated the sweetness of the crab. We had a fun and lively time. Crab chawanmushi A gentle-tasting chawanmushi. Crab shabu-shabu The crab meat is eaten before it becomes tough, and the broth with crab and vegetables is excellent. It's a shame that you can't make porridge with it... Grilled crab The aroma of the grilled crab is delicious. Crab tempura The crispy coating on the outside and the soft crab meat inside make this one of my favorite dishes. Visited with family on a Saturday night. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with private seating for a relaxing meal. We ordered the crab shabu-shabu course, priced in the 7000 yen range, which was apparently a limited-time offer until the end of March. We also added drinks, crab miso grilled in the shell, snow crab tempura, and finished with udon and porridge. The crab meat for shabu-shabu was impressively large and fresh, though not as good as those from coastal areas. Overall, we were satisfied with the meal, but considering the price, it felt a bit expensive. The fact that the course included sushi as the rice dish was a bit disappointing – we would have preferred porridge. However, when considering the effort to travel to places like Kinosaki for crab, the cost-performance ratio was still reasonable.

My husband, who is usually not interested in eating out, surprisingly took me out to eat crab. He kept saying, "I want to eat crab. I want to eat crab." and it seems like he wanted to eat it himself haha. He said it was a birthday celebration, but he never did anything like this before. The restaurant in Toyonaka was spacious and beautiful, like a ryokan. We had the crab suki course! In addition to crab suki, we also had crab sashimi and other crab dishes, and we were happily full. Even though we came to eat crab, my husband said the vegetables were the most delicious. I wonder if our home-grown vegetables aren't tasty haha. I'm happy when he takes me to places like this once in a while, even though I'm too embarrassed to say it. He said he wants to come back next year to eat crab again, so I'm looking forward to it.
