▼Location▼ Located in the northeast corner of the Shimanouchi intersection on Chuo Dori. ▼About the shop▼ A small takeout shop quietly operating in a small building on Chuo Dori, near the McDonald's. They mainly sell taiyaki and takoyaki, and also offer delivery through Demae-can. ▼Menu▼ They offer taiyaki with red bean paste or custard, as well as takoyaki. ▼Food eaten▼ - Custard Taiyaki (150 yen) Simple-looking taiyaki with a mild and moderately sweet custard filling. ▼Impressions▼ Located near the McDonald's Yoshida store, this small takeout shop specializes in taiyaki and takoyaki. I tried the taiyaki, which had a simple appearance and a decent custard flavor. I would like to try their takoyaki next time if I have the chance.

Today, I had work in Senriyama, Suita (・ω・)ノ On the way back in the evening, I made a little detour. I heard there was a "taiyaki" with black sesame paste. Lately, I've been reviewing sweets and snacks quite often, and I might have entered a dangerous territory (>_<) If I add sweets to my list of ramen and alcohol... oh no! It's dangerous! I've already gained 3kg from the lazy New Year lifestyle! So, with these thoughts in mind, I came here (just kidding!) I got off at Nakano on Hanko 13 East Osaka Line, and headed east on R308 after passing four traffic lights. The shop is located in the corner of McDonald's property. Even if it's just for a short time, parking on the road is not allowed. Park in the McDonald's parking lot. The shop looks like a typical small takoyaki shop, and it's only for takeout. If you really want to eat in, buy here and take it to McDonald's (just kidding!) They have three types of taiyaki: "red bean paste," "custard," and "black sesame paste." Why don't they have "white bean paste" when they have custard? I came here for the black sesame paste, so that's fine. It seems they don't have freshly baked taiyaki. Maybe it's a matter of timing. They might make it fresh if you wait. In the warming case, there were only two pieces of black sesame paste taiyaki. It was a close call (´∀`; ) I boldly asked the shop owner, "Two black sesame paste taiyaki, please!"... not a picturesque moment. I bought them anyway (^_^)v I'm going to eat them at home. Now, when I tried to eat it again, the crust was very hard (^^;; I removed it for the photo. Maybe it's a service? It doesn't look good. There are debates on TV shows about whether to eat from the head or the tail of a fish-shaped cake, and I'm neither, I split it in half and eat from the middle (lol) I do the same with imagawayaki (pancake sandwich). I want to make sure of the filling. This time, I checked the black sesame paste carefully (^^;; Bite... oh (^_^)v The fragrant taste and flavor of black sesame remained, with a moderate sweetness. I thought it might be sweeter. The black sesame paste had a moderate sweetness with a bitter taste. Of course, it's sweet enough. But it's elegant. Since it's black sesame, the roasted flavor was also well preserved in the paste. Black sesame paste is seen in various sweets nowadays. But for me, the best black sesame paste sweets are the "Shiromatsu Ga Monaka" from my hometown in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. This taiyaki reminded me of that a little bit. (^_^)v Thank you for the meal~

The small building at the corner of the intersection near McDonald's Yoshida store is the shop I visited. They sell taiyaki and takoyaki, but there is no sign with the shop name anywhere. However, the shop name was written on the bag when I made a purchase. I couldn't find this shop listed on food review websites or anywhere online, so I was puzzled. When I visited Osaka again, the shop was closed so I couldn't confirm. But I found the address displayed at the employee entrance, so I registered the shop based on that. They had a "sesame flavor" taiyaki, which is promoted for its health benefits. Instead of the regular red bean filling, I tried the new "sesame flavor." The skin was crispy and had a nice crunch. The filling was packed all the way to the tail. The sesame flavor was strong but not very sweet. It's a taiyaki that challenges the concept of being sweet, unlike the typical sweet ones. If you prefer sweet taiyaki, I wouldn't recommend the sesame flavor, but you can enjoy the red bean filling instead.
