I had lunch in Kasuga, Fukuoka and decided to try a restaurant that I had been curious about for a while. I ordered the buckwheat noodles for 2-3 people as a single portion. It was a little after 12 PM on a holiday, and the parking lot was almost full. I was the 10th group to write my name on the waiting list outside the restaurant, indicating that it was a very popular place. After waiting for about 30 minutes in the scorching heat, I was finally called into the restaurant. The interior was quite spacious with even a tatami seating area in the back. The noodles arrived about 5 minutes after ordering. It is quite challenging to find authentic soba restaurants in Fukuoka, but this place serves genuine soba that would satisfy even those who have tasted delicious soba in Nagano or Yamagata. I enjoyed my meal and would highly recommend it.

I wanted to eat soba at the Fukuoka exquisite gourmet soba restaurant Musashi Kasuganomichi store, but suddenly I felt like having katsudon. It was delicious after all. #MusashiSoba #MusashiKasuganomichiStore #SobaRestaurant #Soba #SobaShop #Katsudon #FukuokaGourmet #FukuokaFoodie #FukuokaGourmet #KasuganomichiLunch #Lunch #Menstagram #SobaMaster #SobaLunch

The restaurant is known for its delicious katsudon, so I ordered it. The pork cutlet was crispy and tender, and the flavor was rich but also gentle. The katsudon was really delicious. I visited in the early evening and there was already a wait, so it seems to be quite a popular place.

I went around 8 pm on a weekday to avoid the long lines that form during the weekend afternoons. There were about 8 groups ahead of me, and I waited for about 10 minutes. It had been a while since my family had requested to go, but the Musashi soba was still delicious. The thick fried tofu with homemade yuzu pepper added to it, along with the rich broth and soba, was exquisite.

Overall, I wanted to try the Carbo Ramen at SNOOUP, but the parking lot was full, so I ended up coming here instead. It was quite crowded during the day, but surprisingly easier to get in at night. However, there was still a bit of a wait this time (about 10 groups ahead of us). I ordered the zaru soba, which was a generous portion for two people. Soba noodles tend to have small servings, but here, the portion size was satisfying. It was also nice to be seated in a private room for a more relaxed dining experience. Thank you for the meal.

Every time I pass by this crowded restaurant on the street, I decided to visit on a weekday after 2 pm and it was not crowded. I ordered the large zaru soba and it was delicious. The broth was rich, and the soba had a firm texture. It was really good. To finish off, I had soba-yu. Thank you for the meal.

I think the zaru soba at this restaurant is outstandingly delicious. I have been trying out different places, but nothing beats this flavor. That's why I have been coming to this restaurant almost every week recently. First, the soba dipping sauce. Once you taste this flavor, you can't be satisfied with anything else. The soba noodles are firm and robust. Specifically at this restaurant, I prefer the 2:8 ratio over 100% buckwheat soba. When you slurp the soba noodles, the rich flavor of the broth hits you first, followed by the sweet taste of the soba. The condiments of nori and wasabi also have a strong presence. The quality must be top-notch.

I treated my boss to a meal because they always recommend Musashi soba and katsudon as delicious. I wanted to finish the meal since my boss was treating me, but the portions were so big. I asked for less rice in the katsudon, but it still came with a normal amount. I didn't want to leave any food uneaten because it was my boss's treat. The Musashi soba was unlike anything I had tasted before, with a thick soup and yellow yuzu pepper in the tempura. Mixing the yuzu pepper with each bite made the flavor change with every mouthful. The katsudon also had a delicious broth and a runny egg. It was really tasty. I struggled to finish the meal due to the large portions, but managed to finish the soba while leaving some of the katsudon. It was a challenge, but the food was delicious. I hope they can provide the exact orders next time.

During a business trip to Fukuoka, I visited a recommended restaurant by a colleague. It's usually a place where you have to wait in line, but luckily I was able to be seated smoothly as it was close to closing time on a weekday. Although it's a soba restaurant, the recommended dish was actually the katsudon, so I decided to order it as a set. The katsudon looked perfect, with a perfectly cooked, fluffy egg on top. The taste was delicious, as the crispy coating absorbed the flavorful broth that was carefully prepared in the soba restaurant. The katsudon had a perfect balance of tenderness and crunchiness. It's definitely worth visiting the restaurant just for the katsudon alone. I also tried the soba, which was served warm with a gentle broth and plenty of green onions. It may not be for those who prefer the traditional aroma of soba, but it was also delicious. They provided homemade yuzu pepper, which added a nice touch of flavor. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience at a restaurant that pays attention to every detail.

In the summer, I mostly eat cold soba, and in the winter, I eat Musashi soba. This time, I ordered the 50th-anniversary special soba. Unlike the classic Musashi soba with yuzu, it comes with a dipping sauce that has the sweetness and richness of wagyu beef. The warm soba has a strong bonito broth flavor and is delicious, but dipping it in the sauce adds a different taste and makes it enjoyable again.

I went to the soba restaurant "Soba Dokoro Musashi" in Kasuga City and tried their New Year's soba in advance. This is a popular long-established restaurant celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. I ordered the Musashi soba for ¥880 and the tempura soba for ¥1,350. I tried the famous Musashi soba, which includes deep-fried tofu with yuzu pepper and thick broth that perfectly coats the noodles. It was incredibly delicious. Whoever came up with this is a genius!

This is a popular soba restaurant that always has a line. I had never tried their most famous dish, the Ankake Musashi Soba, so I decided to go for that. I also love cold soba, so I ordered the Tenzaru set as well, with wasabi on the side. The Ankake soba had a gentle broth made with kombu and bonito that was rich and comforting. Mixing in grated daikon added a nice touch. Breaking apart the fried tofu in the middle revealed a generous amount of yuzu pepper, which was a bit too much for me, even though I love yuzu pepper. The cold soba had a decent aroma and a refreshing texture. The fresh wasabi was amazing! Grating it yourself and tasting the refreshing aroma as it goes down your throat is a real treat. The tempura was luxurious, with plump and juicy shrimp. The limited edition mackerel sushi was on the sweeter side, but the texture was satisfying and the aged mackerel had a nice tanginess. Overall, the soba was delicious, but what really stood out were the flavorful broth and the fresh wasabi at this place.

Delicious soba noodles with a set of katsudon. That sounds great. It's the essence of Japanese cuisine, right? The location is Kasuga. It's just a short drive from Fukuoka City. There is parking available, but it can get crowded. It's a popular spot. The soba noodles are delicious. The katsudon with egg is amazing. It's a renowned soba restaurant in Kasuga.

I visited Soba Restaurant Musashi in Kasuga City a while ago. The spacious parking lot is always full of customers. It's a very popular soba restaurant. I have been here before, but I rarely come to this area, so this visit was a long time coming. The menu is very extensive, with the famous Musashi soba being a favorite, as well as the plate soba and katsu-don. The katsu-don set looked delicious with the perfectly cooked egg on top. Since it had been a while since my last visit, I decided to go with my favorite, the Musashi soba. The ankake soup, which captures the aroma of the broth, was delicious, and the grated daikon radish and green onions added a nice touch. Breaking the tofu fried with fragrant yuzu pepper and enjoying it with the soba creates a blissful dining experience that you can't find elsewhere. It was a delicious meal, even after a long time since my last visit.

I had a meal made with 100% Hokkaido buckwheat. I was a bit disappointed that it didn't have much aroma. However, the buckwheat tofu made with buckwheat and soy milk was delicious. I also wanted to see the place where they pound the buckwheat outside the restaurant and sell it fresh.

■ Overall Review
I decided to stop by this restaurant while driving at night on a weekday because it looked empty. Just like last time, it's nice that it's not crowded on weekday nights. I forgot to ask for soba soup last time, so I ordered the zaru soba this time. I also tried the chirashi sushi set this time.
■ Zaru Soba
For the price, they serve delicious soba. I still forgot to ask for the soba soup though!
■ Chirashi Sushi
This is a rice dish that comes with the meal. I'm not a big fan of chirashi sushi, I prefer regular sushi.
■ Oden
The reason I decided to come in was because I suddenly had a craving for oden. Fukuoka's oden tends to be a bit sweet, but this one seemed more like the Tokyo style without the sweetness. The egg was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

JR Kasuga Station is about a 10-minute drive away, along Prefectural Route 31 Fukuoka Chikushino Line, you will find "Musashi Soba". Established in 1972. This place has been featured on local TV information programs and even on the show "Himitsu no Kenmin SHOW" before. The signature dish here is the "Musashi Soba", which consists of deep-fried tofu with grated radish and a flavorful broth poured over the noodles. However, my recommendation is their "Katsu-don"! It's a katsu-don like no other, with the aroma and richness of bonito broth. The combination of this bonito broth with the fragrance and sweetness of Kyushu's light soy sauce enhances the deliciousness even more! The tender pork and the crispy breaded coating complement each other perfectly. Although the thickness of the tonkatsu may have decreased slightly compared to before, the taste is still outstanding for the price of only 850 yen (tax included). You can also add warm soba or udon for an additional 330 yen (tax included) or cold soba for 530 yen (tax included). Thank you for the delicious meal today! I will definitely come back again!

Muso Soba for 880 yen. As a first-time customer, I ordered the signature menu. The beautiful presentation has a traditional Japanese feel. The dish consists of thinly fried tofu with yuzu pepper inside, served with thick soba noodles. It has a refined and elegant appearance, reminiscent of a dish you might find in a high-end Japanese restaurant. The broth is flavorful and delicious, although the true essence of soba noodles may not be fully experienced. The meal ends with a serving of soba-yu (hot soba water), which I regret not savoring. I am intrigued by the seasonal limited-time menu offering, "Juwari Soba," and plan to try it next time.

I saw it on TV and decided to go eat there! Since it was featured on TV, it was a popular restaurant with about a one-hour wait. Luckily, there were plenty of parking spaces, so I was able to wait in my car. The an-kake dish was delicious! The minced meat inside the tofu had a nice ginger flavor, and it was really tasty.

When it comes to soba restaurants in Kasuga City, I think this place has the most customers. I decided to visit on a weekday evening to avoid the long lines that usually form on weekends. It was great to be able to get in quickly on a weekday evening. However, even though there is plenty of parking available, it can still be difficult to find a spot.
■ Wari-Ko Soba
Wari-Ko Soba reminds me of Izumo Soba. I vaguely remember trying it once when I went to Shimane with a colleague who wasn't interested in food. The style is similar, but what stood out to me was the lack of soba-yu (soba water) at the end. I personally enjoy finishing a meal with soba-yu, so that was a bit disappointing for me. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.
