The screen on the ceiling in the lounge space displays images of the sky and water, with the seats vibrating in sync. You should definitely experience it. Located just a 3-minute walk from Hankyu Umeda Station, this tea room in Chayamachi was designed to allow customers to experience coffee with all five senses. The interior design of the shop is lovely and you can enjoy delicious coffee in a fantastic space. I had the cappuccino (¥755) and the scone (ricotta cheese & jam) (¥760). Although I was tempted by the lunch plate, I couldn't resist the delicious scone I had last time. The scone was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, with a delicious dough that was just right. It was already delicious on its own, but when combined with the jam packed with strawberry pulp and ricotta cheese, it was amazing. The cappuccino had a mild taste and was delicious. I had a salad and New Orleans dish on a branch plate. I don't like eggs, but I wanted bacon. The salad with eggplant was a bit unusual and I was happy. The coffee was just right, not too sweet. The air conditioning was working well, which was appreciated. I should have peeked at the stylish second floor.

I first learned about Blue Bottle Coffee about 8 years ago. I remember visiting their store during a trip to Tokyo when they only had locations there. Now they have opened several stores in Kansai, making it more accessible. Maybe it's because I have a friend who owns a coffee shop that I've come to appreciate the taste of coffee more. The coffee here is quite ordinary but the prices are high. I think it's because of their location and trendy interior design. I like their heart latte art, so I always go for a hot latte. I mainly go to Blue Bottle to meet friends, rather than just for the coffee. The pastries look delicious but they are quite expensive, so I usually don't order them. It's better to go on weekdays as it can get very crowded on weekends with a long wait. This particular day was a holiday during the Obon period, but it was surprisingly empty at 10 am. The ambiance is what attracts me to Blue Bottle, rather than just for the coffee. I noticed that on weekdays, there are people working there. While I appreciate the hospitality of being called by name, in this day and age of privacy concerns, it felt a bit outdated to have my name called out loudly. Maybe using a number system would be better? (This is just my personal opinion.)

I went to Blue Bottle Coffee in Umeda. I ordered a cold brew coffee and coffee jelly, while my companion ordered an iced cafe latte. The system was a bit confusing at first, where you have to first reserve a seat and then place your order. Once you order, you wait at the blue counter further from the kitchen, and when your order is ready, they call out your name and you pick it up at the closer blue counter. The iced coffee had a nice acidity and was refreshing. The coffee jelly had a rich milk flavor and the jelly itself was not too sweet, with a nice firm texture. The cafe latte was on the milky side. The building and interior design were also a highlight of the visit, with white and blue colors creating a stylish and artsy atmosphere, almost like a museum. The music playing was instrumental and soothing, like nature-themed ambient music. The combination of the building and music reminded me of a hidden gem pavilion from an expo. I would love to visit again to experience this unique atmosphere.

I finally visited the Umeda store that I had been wanting to go to. I became a fan after visiting the Kyoto store (Rokkaku) before the coronavirus, and I had been hoping that a store would open nearby. Soon after, the Umeda store opened. I was thrilled! However, due to the coronavirus outbreak, I was unable to go for a long time. I had some business at the Applause Tower, so I decided to visit the store afterwards. I ordered coffee and scones. They asked for my name to call me when the order was ready, which felt friendly. Compared to the cozy Japanese-style (bicycle shop-like) Rokkaku store, the Chayamachi store was quite spacious with a sense of openness in its interior. I couldn't go to the second floor, but the store had vending machines selling packaged coffee beans with merchandise. The scones were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It felt like I was eating something with a different taste. The ricotta cheese and berry (raspberry?) jam were delicious. Just like in Kyoto, they served the hot drink in a heat-resistant glass cup. I like the thin rim of the cup. It was a hot day during the Tenjin Festival fireworks, but I enjoyed a delicious hot drink in the cool store.

Light meal suitable for breakfast and lunch, prices are reasonable for the quality, coffee has a unique taste. There are many varieties to choose from, so I should have asked for more options. The waffle was warm and delicious, and the roasted vegetables had a nice flavor. It's not a place you can casually drop by all the time due to the prices.

Couldn't make it to the Kobe store that P-san had visited due to time constraints, so went to the Chayamachi store, which is S-chan's favorite♪ The stylish interior, soothing music playing, and the spacious seating arrangement with comfortable spacing between tables created a very pleasant atmosphere, unlike the cramped feeling of eateries in Umeda. It was easy to forget that we were in the bustling downtown area of Osaka, and it felt very cozy| ‹:)~❁┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈⿴Café Latte (HOT) 657 yen. You can choose between "Blend" and "Single Origin" beans.※ Single Origin is an additional 121 yen~ This time, I chose the Blend beans☕︎︎‎. The finely textured latte had a gentle sweetness from the milk and a rounded flavor from the espresso that matched perfectly♡ There was no bitterness at all. I forgot to take the tray, so balancing while climbing the stairs, worrying about the hem of my long skirt, was quite a challenge, just like S-chan (lol). I have a feeling that I will come back for some healing when I get tired from shopping ( ´艸｀)♪♪ I'm curious about the different atmosphere at night as well☽︎‪︎.*

I knew about this place for a while but for some reason always passed by. Finally went today. The atmosphere of the shop is nice and the coffee is easy to drink. I got a drip coffee and it was just the right strength and flavor for me. I also had a cookie which I devoured in no time. I want to try the tiramisu and cherry pie next time. It must be even nicer at night. But for such a spacious and lovely place, they only have one restroom? And it's unisex?

There are only a few places in Umeda where you can have breakfast, and I was considering going to Glitch Coffee in Nakanoshima, but I didn't have enough time so I decided to relax here instead. Recently, they have been giving out tags with "RESERVED" written on them at the entrance, so you can secure a seat before ordering. I went upstairs and it wasn't crowded at all. I ordered a cafe latte for 570 yen, which was poured generously into a cup. It was a bit scary going up the stairs balancing the full cup! The latte was a bit lukewarm this day, maybe the milk wasn't hot enough. I prefer my coffee hot, so the lukewarm latte was a bit disappointing, but the creamy milk combined with the coffee was still very delicious. The second floor here always plays soothing music, making it feel like you could even meditate lightly. I really like the fact that you can read or work without being disturbed by the music. This place is one of my favorites. You can even see the Hankyu train and enjoy the cityscape. It's a great spot where you can have it all.

I chose between a blend and a single origin for the cafe latte coffee beans. The blend was a bit bitter, but I could taste the sweetness of the milk. It was decently good, but not exactly to my liking. It was the weekend, but I only had to wait about 5 minutes to get a seat inside the cafe.

I knew it had opened nearby but finally visited. The waffles are fluffy and the cinnamon cream is delicious. Perfect for cinnamon lovers. The Norafloat is my favorite since I had it a long time ago. It's a summer treat. It might be better to drink it outside as it's cold inside the store.

Visited the branch for the third time, but this time the cashier was a miss. When asked a question, they just pointed with a bored expression and a slight shift in weight on one foot. It felt like they were saying, "I don't know, whatever." I was looking forward to the waffles, but they were neither fluffy nor crispy, just dry and tasteless. It was like eating a dry piece of bread. The coffee is always good though, so I recommend just ordering a drink if you go.

Rain on Saturday afternoon, after 2 pm. First, wait in line outside, then wait on the stairs, then wait to order food, and finally wait to be called. It took an hour from lining up to finally sitting down and starting to eat. It was tough for someone in a hurry, but the coffee was carefully made and delicious with perfect temperature control. The waffle, despite being labeled cinnamon, had a delightful combination of chocolate and a crispy texture. The clean restroom and free water refills were impressive. However, I also had some negative experiences. Overall, it's just the way it is in Osaka on a holiday.

I have been to Kobe's foreign settlement many times, but this was my first time at Blue Bottle in Saryo-machi! It's always crowded during the day so I couldn't get in, but I went as the second place for drinks at night. I ordered a Floral Latte, which is a coffee with a rose aroma. It had quite a bit of milk in it and was easy to drink. They brew the coffee right after you order, so it tastes delicious! It's located in Saryo-machi, which is in the city center, so it's quite crowded even at night, but the atmosphere is great!

After lunch with friends, we went to a café. I had a Nora Float. We had a relaxed time chatting away. The taste of Nora Float was like a milk coffee float, nothing too special. It was just like a milk coffee float, nothing more. The only downside was that there was only one restroom, so there was always a line.

I visited the restaurant on Sunday morning around 9:30 for breakfast. Surprisingly, it wasn't crowded and I didn't have to wait to be seated. I ordered a scone and a cafe latte. The scone was delicious with a rich buttery flavor. I would like to try the salad set next time I visit.

I'm in Osaka. In Osaka, there is Kitashinchi, Umeda. Across the street from "Chayamachi Aruko," there was a shop here. After having dinner nearby and not feeling like drinking alcohol for a change, I thought, how about some coffee? So I came here. When I entered the shop, the refreshing atmosphere of the staff was strong with a scripted feeling, but their polite language and courteous service were very well done. Although there's nothing wrong with being polite, all the words spoken seemed rehearsed, giving a very stifling impression. I couldn't relax as a customer. I felt pressured to respond politely as well. I thought it would be better if they were a bit more friendly in their service so that customers could also relax. This kind of impression is common in many chain stores these days, not just this shop. They said we could eat and drink inside the shop, so I looked at the menu and my friend found a tiramisu that was exclusive to the Umeda Chayamachi store. I joked that we came here for coffee, but my friend, weak to the word "exclusive," immediately ordered the tiramisu. Of course, we also ordered coffee, with each cup having a heart drawn on the surface in a lovey-dovey style. The tiramisu came with two spoons, taking care to be considerate. But wouldn't it be more exciting for a couple to have just one spoon? I had a Hot Nora. They poured plenty of milk in front of me and drew a heart on top. It's a bit embarrassing when they call out your name. The Hot Nora was sweet and delicious, though I wasn't quite sure what it was. The atmosphere inside was relaxed but a bit noisy. When I went on a weekday morning at 10 o'clock, the seats were already quite full!
