- Peach parfait @3600 yen
- Grape mille-feuille @1980 yen
The prices are high. When I visited before, the afternoon tea set was around 3000 yen, so I was really surprised by the price increase. However, maybe it's also because I didn't have to make a reservation and could just walk in (before, it seemed like reservations were necessary on weekends). But, it was really delicious! The peach parfait was elegant with a slightly restrained sweetness. The grape mille-feuille was quite sweet, but the grapes and muscat weren't overshadowed at all. This mille-feuille was the most delicious I've had recently. It makes me want to go back just thinking about it. The prices are high, but the taste is definitely there. If they can maintain this level, I'll definitely come back even with the high prices. Thank you for the meal.

I had a fig parfait and afternoon tea. The fig parfait was delicious with lots of figs, hojicha jelly, white bean paste, custard, and ice cream. The taste was really good. I just dropped by the cute shop and got excited, but it was short-lived. I had to wait about 20 minutes and when I was finally seated, the table was sticky and I was ignored for 10 minutes. Why did they seat me if they weren't ready to take my order? The person who came in before me was also being ignored. But the people who came in after me were served water and taken their orders. More than half of the menu items were sold out, which was understandable. However, the service was terrible and the staff were unresponsive. The atmosphere of the shop was cute, but the operation was poor and the service was bad. The restroom was also dirty. I understand that they were busy and having a hard time, but it was disappointing.

FRUiT hanafru is located along Midosuji Street, with a sunny south-facing interior that creates a lovely cafe atmosphere. I had the August afternoon tea, but on the day, a friend's mango allergy was discovered. Since two items on the menu contained mango, I spoke to the staff. The first thing the staff said was, "We confirm allergies when making reservations." They insisted on this point. In the end, they changed the mango to a different fruit, but without any explanation. It was disappointing to receive such a cold response, even though they did accommodate our sudden request. They did not give us the opportunity to thank them when we left, which was truly disappointing.

I went with a friend who invited me. I don't get to eat melon often, so I thought why not. The afternoon tea set costs 3850 yen. It was neither good nor bad. The melon was just okay, and the other sweets were normal. For this amount of food, I personally don't need any savory items. I just want to eat sweet things. At first, it was 3300 yen, but it seems they raised the price and the quality has dropped. I heard it will be 5500 yen from June. If it's that price, I might as well go to a hotel for afternoon tea. The location in Honmachi is also not that great. It's crowded from early morning on weekends, but I don't think it's worth waiting in line for. I prefer to buy cakes from patisseries and enjoy them at home.

Fruit course by reservation only, with advance payment only, cash not accepted. Quite a lot of preparation required for the fruit shop @fruit.hanafru.
Every time I passed by here, I always wondered what was going on, lining up at 10:15 to start. When the second item came out, it was already 11:00. I had plans at 12:30, and at this speed, I wouldn't make it in time. "Excuse me, what time will everything be finished?" I asked. "12:00!" I was told. This was completely my mistake. "Could you please hurry and bring out just my portion? It's okay if it's last." "Certainly!" Without any hesitation, the last fruit arrived at 12:05. I underestimated everything - the taste, the price, and the time management. Everything about this fruit shop felt like a noble experience.

Fruit cafe in Osaka, Hanafuru Midosuji store^_^ Since there is only takeout in Nagoya, I decided to eat in Osaka! Cherry blossom and strawberry afternoon tea set Spring-like pink and green adorable afternoon tea! The abundant use of strawberries was very sweet and juicy♩ Each dessert was delicious, but my favorites were the shortcake and strawberry daifuku manju! The cream cheese scone with black pepper was also an interesting idea with a salty kick! It was a very cute afternoon tea, but I was surprised by the poor customer service and operation of the staff.

I wanted to try this place where you can only do takeout at Hanafuru in Nagoya. You can reserve a seat for dining in, but you cannot reserve the terrace, so you have to wait in line. I lined up before opening, but ended up being told that those with reservations who arrived later would be seated first, making my wait pointless. Despite there only being 3-4 groups ahead of me, it took 20 minutes to get water and 45 minutes for the afternoon tea to arrive. The slow service and unfriendly staff attitude were quite surprising. The afternoon tea for 3800 yen was very cute and the sweets were delicious. Just be aware that they do not accept cash.

Whenever I go to Midosuji in Osaka, I always pass by this shop and there is always a long line, so I had given up on trying it. But this time, I visited in the morning! Upon entering the shop, there is a sense of openness and it feels very stylish! This time, I tried the Sachi no Ka strawberry mille-feuille parfait and the elderflower tonic with plenty of strawberries. The top has Sachi no Ka strawberries and pistachio ice cream! Below that, there is strawberry ice cream and custard cream, giving a sweet feeling, but the acidity of the raspberry and elderflower jelly at the bottom balances it out perfectly! I felt that the taste composition was very well thought out! Also, they offer fruit courses and afternoon tea! I would love to try them too. Thank you for the meal.

I had Hanafuru for the second time and my stomach is full. The plate is quite voluminous for one person. By the way, I went right after eating lunch, so my stomach is in trouble (laughs). I would like to try melons and other fruits besides strawberries next time!

I finally went to the Hanafuru cafe in Honmachi that I've always wanted to visit. I often saw long lines forming, but this time, my friend and I were able to go! Although reservations are available, the menu for reserved seats is limited to either the afternoon tea set or the dessert course. My friend was interested in the parfait, so we decided to go without a reservation this time. The cafe opens at 10 am, so we arrived 15 minutes before opening thinking we would be fine, and luckily there was no line, probably because it was a weekday. We were worried that we had arrived too early, but the cafe quickly filled up after we entered, so it was a good decision to come early. It seems like the best time to visit is on a weekday when there are no long lines. There were many menu options, but I ended up getting the Afternoon Tea Set for 3850 yen, as originally planned, while my friend asked about the price of the day's parfait and ordered the Amaou strawberry parfait for 4400 yen (market price). When my friend heard the price, which was higher than the drink-included afternoon tea set, she hesitated a bit, but since we came here to eat this, she decided to go for the parfait. The Afternoon Tea Set included various strawberry sweets beautifully arranged on a plate. Since the sweets mainly used fresh strawberries, the sweetness was not overwhelming, and we were able to finish it without feeling too heavy. The set came with a pot of tea, so I was able to drink almost two cups. However, with this many sweets, I wish there were a little more tea...!! I love fruits in general, but the charm of the classic strawberry is unbeatable, so I'm glad I was able to visit here during the strawberry season. If I have the chance to go again, I would like to try the sweets course available only at the counter.

Afternoon tea with spring strawberries. It's my second time having strawberries. I've been to afternoon teas with peaches, mangoes, muscat grapes, etc., about five times before. The quality used to be good for the price a couple of years ago, but now the price has gone up while the quality has definitely dropped. I understand that costs have gone up, but still, the pricing seems a bit too high considering the decline in quality. I've been going to afternoon teas at hotels recently, and the level is just on a different scale, so I find the pricing here a bit hard to justify. It's a lovely space to have tea with friends, but it can get really crowded on weekends, with seats close together and the noise level making it hard to have a conversation. I recommend going on weekdays instead. If you do go on a weekend, I think it's best to go early in the morning.
I was having a hard time deciding which fruit-filled dessert to choose! The interior of the store had large glass windows along Midosuji Line, allowing plenty of natural light to come in, making the photos look beautiful. There was no time limit that day, so I was able to relax and enjoy my time there. It's important to note that they only accept credit cards, not cash. Both the fig parfait and pear fromage had a big impact and got me really excited with a "wow!" The strawberry chocolat was also delicious, but it started melting as I took a lot of photos. The desserts were all tasty, and since they change with the seasons, it's a wonderful place to visit multiple times!

I made a reservation with my friend and went to Hanafru Cafe in Honmachi and Midosuji. We had a reservation for the afternoon tea at 10 am and enjoyed the Fruit Course. It started with fresh apple juice, followed by seasonal appetizers, compote, and a la carte dishes like the Crystal Dekopon Matcha Tiramisu. The main dish was the Lafrance Millefeuille. The dessert platter included Maple Granola, Shu Cream with Nansui and Fuyu Persimmon, Shine Muscat Daifuku, and Orange Financier. Everything was delicious, with a variety of unique and tasty fruits. The drink options included Japanese tea like Sencha and Houjicha, Chinese tea like Jasmine and Dong Ding Oolong, and black tea like Craighead and Earl Grey. The only downside was the slow service for the drinks. Additionally, customers who had the course were able to purchase Muskmelon and Shine Muscat at half price. I bought Shine Muscat for 1,000 yen instead of 2,000 yen on my way out. I would love to go back to enjoy more sweets in a leisurely manner.

You can order an afternoon tea set from the morning. It seems to change monthly, so I'm looking forward to seeing what will be next time. This month's theme is grape sweets. I thought it wouldn't be much since it's mostly fruit, but it actually fills you up. It's enough to replace lunch! I'm sure they will cut and arrange plenty of fruits after you order, so it might take some time before it's served. The tea in the pot may become lukewarm, but that's understandable.

"Hanaful Midosuji store" ... a cute birthday cake full of fruits (#^.^#) with lots of sparkling fruits, we celebrated the birthday of someone we are grateful for (^o^)丿 The sweets we had in the store were also very cute and Instagram-worthy. It's great to have tea here, but the cakes made with seasonal fruits are also delicious☆ I have a feeling that I will be coming back here from time to time in the future (≧▽≦)/~♡

Niece and sister's birthday cakes ♬ What should I do... My niece, who has been loving the strawberry tart from Tanimachi recently, but it seems they don't have it in the summer... I was worried... So I decided to buy a delicious and interesting meringue cake at Hankyu Department Store the other day!! When I inquired at Hankyu Department Store, they said they would be closing for a few days, so I checked at the Harukas store, but they said they didn't have the meringue cake there, so they suggested that they might have it at this store. Lately, many places don't display their phone numbers... It's troublesome... On the day of pick-up, I went to get the cake. As always, the cake was beautifully presented in a nice box and I enjoyed it deliciously.

This was my first visit. I arrived before lunchtime, so I didn't have to wait to be seated. I ordered the mango and peach-themed afternoon tea. In addition to mango sweets, there were raspberry scones, peaches wrapped in fresh raspberries and prosciutto, peach smoothies, and more. The smoothie had a subtle grapefruit bitterness as an accent. The main mango and jasmine parfait was the most delicious. Since it's made with seasonal fruits, I would like to visit again. Payment was only accepted by credit card or ICOCA, not cash.

@fruit.hanafru's afternoon tea was amazing. This time, it was melon and mango. I thought I had to go for the melon, so I went after lunch. It was a huge portion! It's a cafe run by a gift fruit shop, so the fruit is delicious. Next time, I want to go and try the assorted fruit plate.
