Operating as a local cake shop in the Osuzu Hon-dori shopping street, the Tomoi store opened in 2000. After closing the Osuzu store, only the Tomoi store remains. I visited this shop for the first time located along the old road. This time, I tried the roll cake mentioned above, which was soft and had a gentle flavor. It was quite delicious and simply good. I would like to try other charming cakes they offer if I have the chance.

A small cake shop located near Kindai University, close to Tomoi Batting Center. This place was featured in a gourmet magazine called "Cake no Hon." It may not stand out, but it's a wonderful shop that you'll want to tell others about! The cakes are all cute and reasonably priced, around 300 yen each. I fell in love with the cow-patterned lid of the pudding packaging and had to buy it immediately. The pudding was smooth and delicious. There are many other items with impressive packaging as well. Since it's close to my home, I will definitely visit again.

They offer a good selection of Japanese-style and Western-style cakes. They also have individual packs of delicious herbal teas. Sometimes, a handsome pastry chef will wrap your purchase. They only offer takeout, no seating available. The reason why I want to buy their cakes for my daily snack is not just the price, but also the dedication, love, and sincerity of the makers that come through in their products. Recently, I haven't been in the mood for trying new foods after the loss of my beloved cat. However, even in such a somber mood, I still feel like stopping by and thinking, "I want to eat that."
