This izakaya offers a wide variety of meat, fish dishes, and types of alcohol. Fresh fish namero with ginger, onions, and myoga as accents. Crispy fried young chicken. Overflowing sushi with crab and salmon roe. Drinks like highball and pineapple juice go well with the fish dishes and fried chicken. Appetizers include taro, Chinese jellyfish, and cream cheese salad that pair nicely with the drinks. The staff is friendly and provides excellent service, making it a comfortable place to dine. Prices are excluding tax.

On 2023/08/02, a man who feels guilty without a reason is having a drink with 6 other men to beat the heat of the scorching summer days. The only condition for choosing a restaurant is "all-you-can-drink and food included for under 3,000 yen per person." This difficult condition is easily met by Mr. "Teru" every time. This time, the restaurant is selected by Mr. "Teru" again. The restaurant features a smartphone ordering system, a requirement to order 2 dishes per person, a towel for wiping hands, close seating arrangements, and a system where drink glasses are replaced. The night starts with a toast with clear Asahi beer. The dishes include sashimi (red snapper, yellowtail, octopus), edamame, smashed cucumber, chicken Karaage, dashimaki tamago, and a few other dishes. The drinks include beer, shochu with water, and bold sake. The total cost was just under 3,000 yen per person this time as well. Payment was made with a VISA card. Thank you for the meal!

I visited in the evening on the weekend. The shop was said to be open from 4 pm, so I entered at 4 pm, but it was quite busy. However, the friendly staff responded immediately. Truly a popular shop. It was almost fully booked on that day, but they managed to accommodate us from 4 pm for a few hours. They have a wide variety of sake at reasonable prices. The 5-piece fish assortment and other fish dishes were delicious. The service from the staff was wonderful, and they had a wealth of knowledge about sake. I found a great hidden gem. I'll definitely visit again when I come to Umeda.

Nowadays, ordering is done through QR codes, but I was worried because it's underground and the signal might not be good. But there was Wi-Fi available (laughs). I thought they would have sea urchin and salmon roe, but they also had meat sushi. I wonder what the main dish is? I tried various dishes and they were quite delicious. I was so engrossed in conversation that I kept forgetting to take photos.

On June 26, 2023, to celebrate the safe discharge of a senior colleague, five men from the company had a drinking party. We used a coupon for "Ordering dishes individually, all-you-can-drink for 2 hours for 990 yen" through online reservation. The restaurant uses a completely smartphone ordering system, provides hand towels, has separate restrooms for men and women, and the seating is a bit narrow. We started with a toast with draft beer (actually it was Clear Asahi). The dishes included sashimi of the day, deep-fried octopus wrapped in egg, pork okonomiyaki, chicken Karaage, pickled cucumber, potato fries, chicken skin with ponzu sauce, sashimi of sea bream, grilled stingray fin, and soy sauce fried noodles, among others. For drinks, we had sweet potato shochu with water in the first half and chilled sake in the second half. It was a wild night (laughs). All this eating and drinking only cost 15,550 yen. It was super cheap!! Thank you very much♪♪♪

I used the all-you-can-drink course at a banquet hosted by the other party during a business trip. The dishes were all very delicious and I enjoyed plenty of drinks. However, the portion sizes of the dishes were surprisingly large, so that is something to be aware of.

November has arrived, and something is finally opening. It seems like it will be quite challenging in various ways, but for the monthly project for November, we continue with the theme of "500 yen lunch" from last month. The 500 yen lunch for November part 3 is at "Niku x Sakana x Nihonshu Teru Umeda" (Osaka, Umeda). I ordered the One Coin Set Meal for 500 yen. On this day, I had the Chicken Soboro Bowl.

On September 14, 2022, I had a drinking party with six male colleagues. We made a reservation through Tabelog and used a 10% discount coupon for the food. We were seated at a table on the left side, with slightly narrow spacing, provided with towels, and smoking was allowed. We ordered drinks and food using our smartphones (except for the "promotion highball" which we ordered verbally each time). We started with a toast with draft beer, and ordered dishes such as a sashimi platter, grilled shirasu and daikon salad, smashed cucumbers, deep-fried young chicken, horse meat sashimi, fried oysters, and assorted pickles. For drinks, we chose individually. I secretly enjoyed Kido Junmai and Hohoemi Daiginjo. After eating and drinking to our heart's content, the bill came out to be only 3,500 yen per person! This was truly the best cost performance. We paid in cash, and it was a delightful meal.

Ordering with a smartphone is convenient. The staff are friendly. The "promotion highball" where the price stays the same but the amount increases with each refill was a good deal and fun. Despite the name of the restaurant, there wasn't as much meat as expected. The dishes were not particularly delicious, just average.

I'm in Osaka. In Osaka, in Shibata, Kita-ku. Next to the elevated structure of Hankyu Umeda Station, around the area of Nakatsu, there was a restaurant located in the basement of a building. I found it the day before and told my colleague who smokes that there is a restaurant where you can smoke during lunch. So, we went there two days in a row. As usual, the restaurant on the first floor seemed to be popular for yakiniku at night and hamburgers for lunch, with a long line forming. But we ignored that and went down the stairs to the basement to this place. However, it was surprisingly crowded that day. Still, there were some empty seats, and we were seated there. We quickly placed our order for the chicken cutlet set meal for 600 yen. It took a bit longer this time, about 7-8 minutes, probably because it was a bit crowded. Is that still within the acceptable range for a lunch break? The taste was average, and the portion size was okay. My friend was happy because he could smoke there. I did my duty of sharing the information with a smoker, so I guess that's a job well done? I'm thinking of trying it out at night once as well. I wonder if the staff are as lively at night?

I'm in Osaka! Osaka is Umeda, Kita-ku, Shibata. Just east of the elevated Hankyu Umeda Station, near the edge of Nakatsu. I happened to find this restaurant while looking for a lunch spot. There was a new hamburger lunch place on the first floor of the Watanabe Five building, and I was interested, but I was a bit late and there were already 5-6 people waiting in line. I wasn't in the mood to wait in line, so I looked around and found this place! I decided to just go for it. I went down the stairs to the basement and opened the door to the restaurant, which was surprisingly spacious inside with a few customers scattered around. The stairs were a bit hard to find, maybe that's why it's not so crowded? Luckily, it was empty for me. The handsome waiter quickly greeted me and led me to my table. I ordered the Chicken Nanban lunch, which was surprisingly affordable for this area. In about 5 minutes, the Chicken Nanban was served. It came with a side salad, miso soup, pickles, and plenty of rice. It was simple, maybe a bit plain, but in a way, it felt neat. The taste was average, not particularly delicious but not bad either. Considering the price, the portion size and taste were fine. This place allows smoking during lunch, and everyone at the tables around me was smoking. The food came quickly, but the atmosphere was relaxed, allowing everyone to enjoy their meal at their own pace. I don't smoke, but in the current situation, I think it's quite rare to find a place where you can smoke during lunch, so it might be convenient for smokers during lunchtime. And the cost performance is good too.

Two people ordered the all-you-can-drink premium plan for 1640 yen each. They started with a toast of draft beer and the appetizers came, probably costing around 380 yen each. They were recommended the fluffy thick omelette with mentaiko for 540 yen, and they added 100 yen for the mentaiko. They were surprised that the restaurant, which advertised itself as a meat and fish place, served them an omelette. They also ordered the Izumisano anago with green onions for 980 yen. When they asked which was better between yellowtail and amberjack for the daily simmered dish priced at 650 yen, the server just laughed and said they didn't know. They found it amusing and decided to go with the amberjack. They couldn't remember how many drinks they had, but it was something like 2 draft beers, 3 sake, and 5 highballs. Surprisingly, they didn't drink much.

The new series starting the new year is "Hamburger 30 Match". This time, we will explore the new trend of hamburgers starting from "Ground Meat and Rice". We visited latecomer stores in Tokyo and Osaka for two weeks. The second half of the series will focus on regular hamburgers in Kansai. Hamburger 30 Match ~ Part 28 "Meat x Fish x Sake Teru Umeda Store" (Osaka, Umeda). From the one-coin lunch menu, I ordered a hamburger for 500 yen.

I ate quite a bit, so the price was a bit high, but it was delicious! There were about 2 groups of 4-6 people each dining, and they were quite loud, making me think if it was pre-COVID times!? Some people might find it bothersome (but we were seated apart, so it was okay for us). It's not a non-smoking restaurant, so personally, I found it a bit annoying when someone was smoking next to us.

I visited the restaurant around 1 pm on a weekday. The atmosphere inside was very nice and the place was not crowded. I ordered the one-coin lunch sashimi set, which came with 7 pieces of sashimi including salted mackerel, salmon, tuna, and yellowtail. All the sashimi had a good thickness and just the right amount of fat, making it very delicious. The miso soup was a bit light in flavor, almost like it was watered down. The rice portion was a bit small but just enough for me. It might be on the smaller side for students who want to eat a lot, but for business people looking for a light lunch before an afternoon of work, it's a good amount that won't make you sleepy. The fact that some items were sold out by 1 pm indicates that the place is popular, so you can trust that the taste is good. If you're looking for a quick and tasty lunch option, I recommend checking this place out. It seems like they are closed on weekends. Thank you for the meal!

October has arrived, and this year is characterized by having many serialized works, especially running multiple series simultaneously. For the monthly project in October, I will be working on two series almost simultaneously: "GoTo City Hall Cafeteria 30 Match" and "2021 500 Yen Lunch 30 Match Part 3." In addition, as usual, I will also be doing "Ramen 20 Match" from the middle. In "2021 500 Yen Lunch 30 Match Part 3 - Part 4," I visited "Niku x Sakana x Nihonshu Teru Umeda Store" in Umeda, Osaka. Their lunch menu includes 11 types of dishes, such as Chicken Nanban Set Meal, Chicken Cutlet Set Meal, Fried Fish Set Meal, Makunouchi Set Meal, Hamburger Set Meal, Pork Ginger Set Meal, Roast Beef Bowl Set Meal, Yakiniku Set Meal, and Seafood Yukke Set Meal, in addition to daily specials. This time, I ordered the Roast Beef Bowl for 500 yen. It seems like the amount of meat has decreased compared to last time.

This is a shop located about 3-4 minutes walk from Hankyu Osaka Umeda Station (Chayamachi exit). I visited for a solo lunch on the weekend (open for weekend lunch during the state of emergency). It's a shop located underground. During the lunch hours from 11:30 to 14:00, they offer a menu of all items for 500 yen each (such as fried chicken, sashimi, grilled fish, hamburger, roast beef bowl, pork kimchi, ginger pork, grilled meat, sushi, etc.) with over 10 options. I chose the Chicken Cutlet Lunch Set for 800 yen, which arrived in about 5-6 minutes. The Chicken Cutlet Lunch on its own is only 500 yen including tax, but this time I ordered the set for 800 yen (tax included). By paying an extra 300 yen for the set, it comes with a small salad, side dish, and a drink, which is also a good deal. I requested oolong tea as my drink. The freshly fried chicken cutlet was generous in portion and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Last year, I hardly did any, but this year, I will continue with the series. Starting with a straightforward topic, the "2021 Meat & Seafood 30 Match Challenge" began with a series on meat (beef & pork) and fish. This was followed by the "Chicken 10 Match Challenge", "Roast Beef Bowl for a Week", "Seafood Bowl for a Week", and "Meaty Week". This week will be a Chicken Week, without any fried chicken dishes. The third installment of the Chicken Week is "Meat x Fish x Sake at TERU Umeda Store" (Umeda, Osaka). Their lunch menu offers 11 options, including Chicken Nanban Set, Chicken Cutlet Set, Fried Chicken Set, Grilled Fish Set, Makunouchi Set, Hamburger Set, Pork Ginger Set, Roast Beef Bowl Set, Grilled Meat Set, and Seafood Yukke Bowl Set, in addition to a daily special. On this day, the special was Teriyaki Chicken Set for 500 yen, with free extra rice.
