There was a cream puff called "Floating Cloud" at home, so I tried it. It was delicious. The next day, there was some left, so I tried it again. It had become just an ordinary cream puff. It seems that it is best to eat it early. Next time, I will buy it and eat it on the spot. There used to be a delicious snack called "Mochi Pie," but it seems to have been discontinued. I hope it makes a comeback.

This shop is a direct sales store of Eguchi Seika, known for their cup jellies and mochi. With the opening of the Kyushu Shinkansen, they started selling Japanese and Western sweets made with local Yame tea, providing a place for interaction with consumers. Our goal today is the "Love Gr" menu item, the "Pair Snowball." Upon entering the shop, we found a modern interior with a showcase of Japanese and Western sweets. The snowball we were looking for, in red and white, was right in front of us – a set of 8 red and 8 white snowballs in a pink striped package with heart shapes, priced at 1100 yen. Despite the price, we decided to try it at home. The walnut-filled cookie has a gentle melt-in-your-mouth texture, with a rich strawberry flavor and aroma. The plain white snowball reminded me of a childhood snack, Baby Star. It's delicious, but the price for 16 high-end Baby Stars at 1100 yen is a bit steep. Perfect for a White Day gift, especially as a return gift for obligatory chocolates. I bought the Rum Raisin Monaka from Eguchi Seika. It seems like this is Eguchi Seika's shop. I realized that Rum Raisin Monaka is really good because you can enjoy various flavors in the filling. However, I was surprised to see that the main ingredients like azuki beans are from Canada, as I usually associate beans with Hokkaido. Maybe it can't be helped considering the price.

One day for a snack. After having a drink at the bar, I stopped by Moriya Kitazonocho store. It's a small but convenient supermarket near the station. They often sell snacks from other regions that make you wonder why they are here. I found something that looked good for a snack, so I bought it and decided to write a review. It is truly my good (Tabelog) partner. - Banpeiyu Monaka: Banpeiyu, a type of pomelo, particularly large in size. - Hiyuganatsu Monaka: Hiyuganatsu, a mutation of yuzu, with a taste close to grapefruit. Both have candied fruit peels inside white bean paste. Banpeiyu Monaka has a slight bitterness and richness, while Hiyuganatsu Monaka has a refreshing taste. Both are sweet and delicious.
