YETI is an Asian and ethnic cuisine restaurant located in Fukuoka City, Nishi-ku, Imajuku, near JR Chikuhisen Imajuku Station. It is a sister restaurant to the same name restaurant in Kiyokawa, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka, and opened in November 2020. The owner chef, Bhandari Hiramani, is from Nepal, and the restaurant is run by his family members and other foreign staff. They offer a variety of dishes from countries like India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, China, and Korea at affordable prices. The menu is mostly available for takeout as well. The curry can be customized from 0 to 20 times spiciness, and curry sets come with free refills of plain naan or rice. The reviewer has tried dishes like Nasi Goreng, Pho, Shrimp Lettuce Fried Rice, Pad Thai, Keema Curry, Green Curry, Mutton Curry, and Spinach Curry Set, and enjoyed them all. They recommend trying out more dishes on the menu in the future. YETI is located at Imajuku Station 1-3-28, Imajuku White Mansion 102 in Fukuoka City, Nishi-ku. Phone: 092-807-5551. Open from 11:00 to 16:00 and 17:00 to 1:00, with no scheduled days off.

Today's lunch was at an Asian-themed restaurant. The name of the place is Yeti, like the snowman. This makes me think of the Himalayas, maybe Nepal? The menu has a variety of dishes from Nepal, India, Pakistan, Vietnam, Thailand, and Korea. I decided to try the curry, specifically the Special Set Curry with two types: □ Mild Butter Chicken Curry □ Spinach Chicken Curry I chose a spice level of 2 for both. The portions were quite generous. The spiciness was not very strong. I also tried: □ Shish Kebab □ Chicken Tikka □ Plain Naan □ Rice Both naan and rice were refillable. I was recommended to have more, but I was already full. I also had: □ Salad with plenty of dressing □ Chai for my drink I wish the dishes were a bit more flavorful with spices. Considering the price, it felt like a good deal.

[May 9, 2021 (Sunday) Around 12:50 PM] Entered the restaurant. (It was full, so we waited outside for a while.) There were 2 adults and 1 child (elementary school age) in our party. <What we ordered> *Prices include 10% tax ◆<Me> Vietnam Pho Set 900 yen... Includes fresh spring rolls, fried rice (small size), and a drink. I chose hot chai as my drink. The pho and fried rice were a bit salty, but overall, it was satisfying. ◆<Husband> Spinach Chicken Curry Set 900 yen... Set includes salad and a drink. I chose mango lassi as my drink, and ordered the curry to be "spicy." ◆<Daughter> Classic Chicken Curry Set 850 yen... Similar to my husband's set, it includes salad and a drink. She chose iced chai as her drink and ordered the curry to be "normal" in spiciness. The menu had a variety of options, including the Vietnamese dishes we had, Nepalese curry, Pakistani curry, Thai cuisine, Korean cuisine (just jeon, I think), and other Asian dishes. I found it interesting that we could enjoy different Asian cuisines in one place. I was particularly intrigued by the "Shrimp Pan Pan" original menu item. It felt like a place where families could casually dine, and I would like to visit again if given the chance. Thank you for the meal☆ ~Additional note~ I forgot to include a picture of the salad, so I will add it here.

Multinational Asian cuisine restaurant ^_^ I love Thai, Korean, Vietnamese, and Chinese dishes! There are so many delicious options! The portions are big, so I can't order too much, haha. The cheese naan and spinach curry were the best! The foreign staff members are also cute.
