Chicken broth flavored ramen with flavored egg, large size noodles for 1080 yen plus 150 yen for fried rice, dumplings, and soup. The fried rice is delicious. The dumplings are average. The ramen was okay. This is purely my personal opinion.

I ordered chicken broth ramen and pork bun. When I arrived at the shop at exactly 12 o'clock, there were about 2 people in line. I had been curious about it when I was on the Midosuji Line and transferring to JR on my way back. The only disappointment was that the pork bun was not hot. The taste was good.

Located in the Arde building at Shin-Osaka Station, this Chinese restaurant is originally from Kobe. I stumbled upon it while looking for dinner after a business trip. I ordered the "Kouran Chinese Ramen" (880 yen) and the "Kouran Pork Bun" (330 yen). The ramen was a standard soy sauce ramen with white straight noodles, a large slice of chashu pork, and chopped green onions. It was a delicious bowl of ramen. The pork bun had a sweet and salty filling with shiitake mushrooms as a highlight. It was a different but tasty pork bun compared to the 551 brand. Perfect for a quick dinner before catching the Shinkansen back home. Thank you for the meal.

I had the most popular chicken white broth ramen and a pork bun. The ramen had lots of green onions, half-boiled egg, chashu, and spicy miso on top. The spicy miso wasn't too spicy, so even if you're not a fan of spicy food, you should be okay. I actually felt like it could use a bit more kick to make it rich and spicy overall. The pork bun was reliably delicious. I had it with mustard and soy sauce, but it might have been better without anything. It's tasty on its own. It was past 6 PM and the station wasn't too crowded, so I could relax even as a solo diner. Much appreciated.

I ordered tantanmen with half fried rice. The almond jelly was a gift for posting on social media. The tantanmen had thin noodles and the meat miso was on the sweeter side. The spiciness of the soup was just right and it was delicious. The fried rice was a bit salty, but when paired with the tantanmen, the level of saltiness was just right. The almond jelly was refreshing and delicious to eat at the end.

I'm on my way transferring from the Shinkansen to the Midosuji Line and decided to stop by Alde on the 2nd floor. If you're short on time transferring between the Shinkansen and the subway, this location is convenient. I recommend trying the chicken shio ramen, which has a rich and flavorful broth that perfectly matches the thin noodles. I also ordered the pork bun, which I forgot to take a picture of, but personally, I found it more delicious than the ramen!

Kaoran has its main store in Kobe Nankin-machi. The Kaoran in Shin-Osaka is located next to where McDonald's used to be (or rather, it seems that McDonald's is going to make a comeback). The chicken white broth ramen soup is incredibly delicious. The soup has a similar shape to Tenkaippin's soup, but it has a refreshing taste rather than being rich, and it goes well with the medium-thick noodles. The flavor changes with the addition of the chili pepper provided, which is spicy but also has a good sweetness, making it a very nice flavor change. The sauce for the gyoza is different from the usual, using miso sauce, which was very tasty. It provided a new deliciousness to enjoy with the gyoza. This review is from a blog post. Article URL: http://blog.livedoor.jp/steebe247/archives/52287847.html 2:14~ is Kaoran in Kobe Nankin-machi. They have braised pork buns and pork buns, both looking delicious.

Around 9:30 PM on June 6, 2023 (Tuesday), I had a meal at Koran Chinese Soba, enjoying a set of half-fried rice. Even though I thought I had eaten enough, after drinking, I felt like having a finishing dish... I guess ramen is the way to go for that. I came here seeking soy sauce flavor... I was supposed to be satisfied with just ramen, but ended up getting half-fried rice too... I'm in trouble... I might gain weight... Oh no... It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I suddenly felt like eating tantanmen, so I searched for a restaurant near Shin-Osaka and found this place in the station. I had a feeling that I had seen it before, and it turns out the main branch is in Nankin-machi. I visited around 6 pm on a Saturday, and the restaurant was only about half full. I looked at the menu and saw they had tantanmen and Sichuan tantanmen, with the Sichuan one being described as numbingly spicy. I was torn but ended up ordering the Sichuan tantanmen and xiaolongbao. The Sichuan tantanmen arrived first. The smell was normal, but when I slurped the noodles, my tongue tingled! The soup was slightly sweet, which I liked. After a while, the xiaolongbao also arrived. I love the xiaolongbao from Din Tai Fung, but these looked completely different, with thicker skins. When I tried them, the skins were quite thick, the filling was minimal, and I was a little disappointed. Maybe it's because Din Tai Fung's are just too delicious! I finished the tantanmen and felt full. Next time, I might try the fried rice. Thank you for the meal!

During lunchtime at Shin-Osaka Station, I chose this restaurant near the Midosuji Line ticket gate for lunch. I felt like there have been a lot of ramen and Chinese options lately, so I decided on the fried rice, spring rolls, and soup set (1,000 yen). The food was served in just a few minutes, which is important for a station restaurant. The fried rice had a gentle flavor, and personally, I added a little bit of pepper. The spring rolls were crispy and hot, with delicious filling. They were tasty on their own, but also delicious with a little soy sauce. I would like to try their noodles next time. Thank you for the meal.

By the way, the other day I had tantanmen too... But the tantanmen here is delicious! It's right near the New Osaka Station on the Midosuji Line, so it's convenient to stop by when transferring between the Shinkansen and the Midosuji Line. I arrived before noon, so I didn't have to wait, but by the time I left, there were a few people waiting in line.

This is a ramen shop located under the Shinkansen at "Arde Shin-Osaka" near Shin-Osaka Station. The taste is average and they also have some unique ramen options. ■■■ Shop ■■■ During the peak of COVID-19, they renovated the shop, so the interior has changed significantly. It is now bright, white, and new, easily visible from the corridor. The shop mainly accommodates one or two customers, with a limited number of table seats and counter seats along the walls. Families with suitcases and foreigners also visit. It tends to be almost full around 12 pm on weekdays, but there usually isn't a long line, making it easy to get a seat. ■■■ Menu ■■■ Eight years ago, a set meal was priced at 800 yen, but now ramen alone costs between 880 yen to over 1300 yen for a set meal. It seems they have shifted their focus from salarymen to transit passengers. They offer a variety of ramen options, such as regular ramen for 880 yen, chicken white broth for 980 yen, and tantanmen for 980 yen. They also have unique options like pork bone soy sauce for 1380 yen, tomato basil for 980 yen, and shrimp cream for 1080 yen. ■■■ Food ■■■ ▼ Chicken White Broth Ramen 980 yen (as of March 23) I chose the most popular option. The soup is cloudy with a slight thickness, resembling a soy sauce ramen base with a hint of chicken flavor. It has umami, but it doesn't distinctly taste like chicken white broth. The noodles are thin and firm, with a chewy texture. The spicy miso condiment on the table adds a nice touch of flavor. ▼ Half Fried Rice Set 330 yen The fried rice is slightly firm and lacks a meaty flavor, making it somewhat plain. ■■■ Conclusion ■■■ Overall, it's just an ordinary ramen shop without anything exceptional. The price of 980 yen might be considered on the higher side. There are several ramen shops within the station building at Shin-Osaka, but none stand out. The most decent option might be "Kameo" on the same floor. If you're willing to go outside the station, "Gozan" or a bit further "Marusho" have delicious ramen options. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the newly opened restaurant called "Kouran" in Kobe for lunch! There was no ticket machine, so you have to order from your table or the counter. Although the signboard was promoting chicken white broth, I was curious about the soy sauce ramen and fried rice, so I ordered the flavored boiled egg soy sauce ramen and half fried rice. While waiting, I noticed a large pressure cooker in the kitchen, and I wondered if they were using it to make the chicken white broth! I regretted not choosing the chicken white broth soup later. The flavored boiled egg soy sauce ramen arrived! It had a large piece of chashu just like in the menu photo, and the soy sauce flavor was enhanced, complementing the thin noodles well. The fried rice was also nicely done and not too greasy! I will definitely try the chicken white broth soup next time I pass by there.

Located in Arde Shin-Osaka at Shin-Osaka Station, is the Koran Arde Shin-Osaka store. Before boarding the Shinkansen, while wandering around wondering what to eat in Shin-Osaka, my eyes were drawn to a sign in front of the subway ticket gate. Rather than the name "Taiwanese Miso Ramen," it was the visual of a tonkatsu on top. The description mentioned it was a Taiwanese-style pork rib noodle dish, with a Taiwanese flavor of five-spice powder. I couldn't help but think this was from a famous ramen shop in Kobe, right? Before I knew it, I was sucked into the shop without a chance to think. I ordered the Taiwanese Miso Ramen [1080 yen] with a half fried rice set [320 yen]. Looking at the menu, they also had a variety of dim sum like pork buns. Outside the shop, there was a long line at 551 Ponglai. If this place was good, I thought about buying their pork buns on my way back. Now, the Taiwanese Miso Ramen. I didn't really question if it was truly Taiwanese miso ramen or the Nagoya specialty of Taiwanese ramen, but the tonkatsu was surprisingly delicious. This was unexpected. It's not a pork rib noodle, but a tonkatsu noodle. The miso ramen flavor wasn't very prominent, but the unique medicinal aroma of five-spice powder paired surprisingly well with the tonkatsu. Oh? This ramen is quite tasty. It's an old image, but I never really trusted the taste of ramen shops that are part of chains. However, lately, it seems like most chain ramen shops can compete with individual shops in terms of taste. The control of ingredients and cooking methods has improved, allowing for quality maintenance. While impressed by this, I forgot to buy pork buns on my way back.

Chicken broth flavored ramen On the final day of my trip, I arrived at this restaurant because I really wanted to eat ramen. It was located at the end of the passage in Shin-Osaka Station. Taste: A gentle flavor with a rich chicken broth taste. Since it's a restaurant in the station, the prices were a bit high, but I have no regrets about the taste. My partner and I kept slurping the soup. There were also a lot of options like xiaolongbao and unique ramen, so I want to eat there again before boarding the Shinkansen.

The ramen was neither outstanding nor disappointing, just simply delicious. I'm not very knowledgeable about ramen, but it tasted like Kyushu-style ramen. I don't have a photo, but personally, I really enjoyed the gyoza. Definitely give it a try. It's conveniently located inside Shin-Osaka Station, making it easy to visit even on rainy days.

This is a hidden gem ramen shop near Namba Station in Osaka. I visited on a Saturday around 11:30 am and it wasn't crowded at all. I ordered the most popular chicken broth ramen with half fried rice set for 1,300 yen. The soup was delicious and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The fried rice was also tasty. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. I recommend this place for a quiet and enjoyable dining experience.

While on my way to Namba Station on the Midosuji Line, I visited this shop located in front of the ticket gate. I have been here before and I find that the location of the shop is quite convenient. I noticed a ramen on the signboard in front of the shop that I have never seen before - ramen topped with tonkatsu. I ordered the Taiwan miso ramen with gyoza set. The toppings included tonkatsu, mizuna, white onions, and bean sprouts. The presentation is quite impressive. The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles. The soup is spicy and reminds me a bit of Tom Yum Kung. I didn't really taste the miso flavor. If you enjoy spicy food, it's worth trying this dish at least once.

At the Arde inside Shin-Osaka Station is the restaurant Kouran in Kobe Nanjing Town. It's a New Year's tradition at Kouran. The storefront is lined with giant billboard ads, and alongside the chicken white broth, the limited-time Taiwan-style spare rib noodle, styled Taiwan miso ramen, stands out. The restaurant is about 70% full, bustling since New Year's. I tried the Taiwan miso just now. Despite the slightly small bowl, it's a hearty serving. Tonkatsu is a topping, along with watercress, bean sprouts, and more. The soup has a rich miso flavor. It's flavorful without being heavy. Curry spices are also added. The miso and curry complement each other, creating a delicious and easy-to-enjoy flavor. The thin noodles cling tightly to the soup. The tonkatsu topping is thick. The miso and tonkatsu also go well together. The Taiwan miso ramen is satisfying on its own, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I had some time before catching the bullet train at Shin-Osaka Station, and most of the other restaurants had long lines. Since I didn't have time to wait, I chose this place without a wait. I didn't have high expectations given the situation. As expected, when I entered, the staff at the entrance were busy packing chopsticks without saying a word. Other staff noticed me after a while and directed me to an available seat at the counter. I ordered a white soup ramen and some xiaolongbao, as this place seemed to be more focused on xiaolongbao than ramen. The result was delicious. I think it's better to wait here than at other restaurants. The set fried rice was also good. All the xiaolongbao were delicious. There was no explanation on how to eat each dish, so the service level is not great, but the taste of the food, including the ramen, was excellent. I don't often use the bullet train, but if I'm in Shin-Osaka again, I would like to visit this place.
