On the 4th floor of Noda Hankyu Wisute, there is a restaurant floor where I had lunch. It's a chain restaurant, but it's been around for so long that you could almost call it a long-established brand. Originally from Osaka, it now has stores throughout Japan except for Kyushu. I remember seeing it since I was a child, so it may have been founded over 50 years ago. The interior of the restaurant has only table seats. The main menu consists of rice bowls, udon, and soba. There were also several eel dishes in the menu book at that time. The basic sets are quite common. We ordered a set of oyakodon, tempura and egg rice bowl, and zaru soba. The oyakodon had green onions on top, which was unusual. The tempura and egg rice bowl had a nice semi-soft egg. The broth in the rice bowls had just the right balance of sweetness and soy sauce flavor. The soba and udon were not the trendy types, but rather ones that are easy for people of all ages to enjoy. It's reliable and comforting. It's convenient to have these kinds of restaurants scattered around. Bon appétit.

This is the family-owned soba restaurant called "Chain no Osoba-ya". I ordered the tempura rice bowl set for 950 yen plus tax, which comes with a choice of hot or cold soba or udon, and reduced-salt miso soup. Since it's a soba restaurant, I chose cold soba. They seem to be focusing on traditional Japanese sweets lately, and in March, they have sakura mochi for 180 yen plus tax. It was a great deal to get two for 180 yen, and they were very cute in size.

Local Fair Shikoku's Delicious Food Uwajima-style Tai Meshi Set The texture and flavor of the tai (sea bream) are satisfying, and the egg adds richness to the dish. It was delicious when eaten with the sauce poured over it.

The first restaurant meal of 2019... I forgot to take a photo, and the second one was at the Family Restaurant at Aeon while shopping. No special comments!

"The Golden Week, which was so much fun, ended in the blink of an eye, and back at work, I was hit with a flurry of projects! It's a mix of joy and sadness, and my body feels a bit sluggish. I've been in a canned food state! Lunch has been consisting of bento boxes, side dishes, and 551's plate udon from the nearby Noda Hanshin Weste every day. But... I really want to eat a warm oyakodon! Unable to resist this craving, I decided to dine out for lunch today. Of course, the place was Noda Hanshin Weste. I went to 'Kazokutei Noda Hanshin Store' on the 4th floor food court. I ordered the following: Oyakodon Set... 951 yen (tax included). The set came with mini soba noodles. In the center of the oyakodon, there was a raw egg yolk, which was a pleasant surprise. But, the sauce wasn't enough to soak the rice, I prefer it to be more saucy. However, the biggest disappointment was that it didn't have Mitsuba (Japanese wild parsley)! Instead, they used white spring onions. Is it common for oyakodon to not have Mitsuba? Looking at the menu, I noticed that the oyakodon in the picture had Mitsuba! How can Mitsuba be out of stock? I don't know if it was just a coincidence, but it really brought down my excitement. Apart from that, the chicken, the egg, and the runny egg yolk were all reasonably tasty in the oyakodon. The warm soba had a yuzu aroma in the broth, which was delicious. Oh, wait, there are Mitsuba leaves floating in the soba! So, it seems that at this store, oyakodon comes with white spring onions. I guess I'm just being picky, but I really think oyakodon should have Mitsuba! Apologies for making a big deal out of a small thing. 'Kazokutei Noda Hanshin Store,' oyakodon with Mitsuba is the way to go for me! Thank you for the meal!"

Noda Hankyu Station's Aeon SC, located on the north side, has a restaurant called "Kazokutei" on the 4th floor. I arrived after lunchtime had passed, so I decided to park my car and go in. The restaurant has 9 counter seats, 11 tables for 2 people, 2 tables for 4 people, and 3 box seats for 4 people. Even at this time, there were quite a few customers coming in and out, so it seems to be quite popular. It's possible that many people like me missed the lunchtime. The menu mainly consists of udon, soba, and rice bowls. I chose the "Te-tsuke katsu-don set" for 930 yen (including tax). You can choose either udon or soba, so I chose cold soba. The egg they use is iodine egg, produced using light. The katsu in the katsu-don is tender but not crispy, rather moist. The egg is tasty but I wish it was more fluffy, it's a bit overcooked. The soba is decent, but the dipping sauce is too salty. Overall, it's just average and the cost performance is not great. The service is good, they frequently come to refill your tea. They also brought soba broth, but I had to decline as I had a time limit in the parking lot. I usually write down my thoughts on the restaurant on my phone while eating, but this time it somehow got posted directly, so I'm quickly posting this review. It seems like the system has changed. You have to adapt quickly to changes to survive.

On a day off, my family and I went shopping at Aeon in Noda! We decided to have lunch first, so we visited Kazoku-tei inside Aeon! We ordered the set meal with fine udon and tempura. My wife ordered the eel bowl set meal, and my daughter ordered the kids' set meal! The taste was okay overall! The conger eel tempura was a bit disappointing... There's nothing particularly noteworthy as it is a well-known chain restaurant, but when you order the kids' set meal, you get a toy as a bonus, which made my daughter very happy. Thank you for the meal!

I wandered around the Wisteria shops, trying to decide which one to enter. I was in the mood for something other than tonkatsu, and I felt a bit hesitant to go into the okonomiyaki or shabu-shabu places alone, so I ended up choosing this place. The Chicken Nanban caught my eye on the menu outside, so I decided to try it. Originally, I wanted the Chicken Nanban donburi, but somehow ended up with the Chicken Nanban set with hot soba. Well, it was okay, maybe the set was better than the donburi after all? The Chicken Nanban was delicious. Just my taste! The texture was good too. I noticed they had a mini tororo rice topping, so I thought it would be perfect if they had a mini udon with it. Can you order this combination? Maybe change the rice to tororo rice? I would love to go back to eat the Chicken Nanban again.

On March 2, 2014, I visited the "Kazokutei Noda Hankyu Shop" on the 4th floor of Noda Hankyu Weste, where I had the "Barley Rice Set" for 920 yen. While enjoying my meal, I recalled a statement made by former Prime Minister Yasuhiko Ikeda during a parliamentary answer, suggesting that poor people should eat barley. I found it ironic considering the fact that barley imports are still taxed. My companion ordered the "Dashi-wari Curry Udon" for 860 yen, but was initially served the "Java-style Curry Udon" instead. After pointing out the mistake, they kindly replaced it with the correct dish. The curry udon was delicious and satisfying.

This is a well-known chain of soba and udon restaurants. This particular one is located on the 4th floor of Wisute in Noda-Hanshin, a small dining area in the shopping mall. The prices here are a bit high compared to other places in Wisute, so you typically need to spend around 1000 yen for lunch. The food is not bad, but the temperature of the duck dipping sauce for the soba changed rapidly from very hot to cold, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a decent meal.

I wanted to eat something refreshing, so I went to Kazokutei near the station. It was my first time there, and I noticed that many families were dining there. Although there was no queue, the staff were attentive and we were able to place our order quickly. The food arrived promptly. I ordered the mountain vegetable grated udon, but it seemed like you could also change it to soba noodles. Soba noodles were popular that day, and the explanation was detailed. When we finished eating, they brought us soba broth. The restroom is shared with AEON and was quite busy. If I ever crave udon again, I might come back. Thank you for the meal.
