"The Golden Week, which was so much fun, ended in the blink of an eye, and back at work, I was hit with a flurry of projects! It's a mix of joy and sadness, and my body feels a bit sluggish. I've been in a canned food state! Lunch has been consisting of bento boxes, side dishes, and 551's plate udon from the nearby Noda Hanshin Weste every day. But... I really want to eat a warm oyakodon! Unable to resist this craving, I decided to dine out for lunch today. Of course, the place was Noda Hanshin Weste. I went to 'Kazokutei Noda Hanshin Store' on the 4th floor food court. I ordered the following: Oyakodon Set... 951 yen (tax included). The set came with mini soba noodles. In the center of the oyakodon, there was a raw egg yolk, which was a pleasant surprise. But, the sauce wasn't enough to soak the rice, I prefer it to be more saucy. However, the biggest disappointment was that it didn't have Mitsuba (Japanese wild parsley)! Instead, they used white spring onions. Is it common for oyakodon to not have Mitsuba? Looking at the menu, I noticed that the oyakodon in the picture had Mitsuba! How can Mitsuba be out of stock? I don't know if it was just a coincidence, but it really brought down my excitement. Apart from that, the chicken, the egg, and the runny egg yolk were all reasonably tasty in the oyakodon. The warm soba had a yuzu aroma in the broth, which was delicious. Oh, wait, there are Mitsuba leaves floating in the soba! So, it seems that at this store, oyakodon comes with white spring onions. I guess I'm just being picky, but I really think oyakodon should have Mitsuba! Apologies for making a big deal out of a small thing. 'Kazokutei Noda Hanshin Store,' oyakodon with Mitsuba is the way to go for me! Thank you for the meal!"
