On weekends, the afternoon was quite busy, with the first floor almost full. I was a little hungry, so I ordered a chocolate nut dessert to go with my coffee, which cost around 500 yen. The dessert was a bit pricier, but it was delicious, albeit small. I savored it carefully. They provided self-service water from a fancy water server. The cafe is called Cafe Chipo Oito, located in Naka, Osaka.

One of my favorite cafes near Osaka Station is Cafe Chipo Oito. It's convenient for a little rest before or after watching a movie at Cine Libre Umeda. The walk from Grand Front Osaka to here is honestly quite tough, especially in this scorching heat. But I push through and move forward. Once the construction in Umeda is complete, the approach should be much better.

You can see it right away after passing through the underground passage from Grand Front towards Shin Umeda City. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Osaka Station or Hankyu Umeda. I was there from around 10:30 to 13:00 on weekdays, and hardly any customers came, except for some nearby office ladies who came for lunch with their wallets in hand. This is a cafe located on the right side, just up the underground passage from Umeda towards the Westin Hotel. They also roast their own coffee and sell it. The cafe is spacious, with a warehouse-like atmosphere. The view from the second floor is nice and it's a relaxing place. The cafe au lait has a generous amount which is great. It was a nice place to unwind away from the hustle and bustle.

I participated in an event at Umeda Garden Building in September 2019! On the way to Umeda, I found a lovely café called Café Chipo Oito. The stairs were steep, but I went up to the second floor. There was a very relaxed atmosphere, and I thought this café was nice. I had a cappuccino and an iced coffee. I was happy because they drew a leaf pattern on the cappuccino.

When having a meeting in Osaka Umeda, this is a great place to pass the time. I highly recommend the bacon sandwich here. It has an incredibly thick slice of bacon sandwiched inside! Plus, it's always nice and quiet, so you can enjoy a luxurious cafe time. ^_^
