Thai restaurant review Ranked 60th out of the top 100 in Western Japan in the Asia Ethnic West Best 100 2022 on Tabelog with an overall rating of 3.58. Visited on September 10, 2022, at 7:15 pm. Made a reservation for 7:30 pm through Tabelog the day before. Ordered the Siam Beauty Course at 3,500 yen each, which included cold dishes, appetizers, bowl dishes, mains, dessert, and a lychee tea drink. The restaurant had a luxurious exterior and interior, with a high-class restaurant style. The dishes were impressive from start to finish, and the quality, ambiance, service, and value for money were all excellent. Highly recommended, especially for the delicious shrimp sashimi and soup.

In order to conquer the whole country, I visited Nara Prefecture for lunch and sightseeing before heading to Osaka. Since I often visit Osaka, I decided to try something different this time - Thai cuisine. I had Singha beer from Thailand. The Singha draft beer was accompanied by Mad Crab's special egg and curry-scented stir-fry, stir-fried water spinach, fresh spring rolls, papaya salad, and complimentary fried shrimp. The Mad Crab's special egg and curry-scented stir-fry was delicious. I always order the stir-fried water spinach because I love it. It was so tasty. The fresh spring rolls are also a favorite of mine. Delicious. The papaya salad was refreshing and light, I really enjoyed it. Despite expecting spiciness from Thai cuisine, I ended up ordering dishes that weren't spicy. I love spicy food. I drank plenty of Singha beer and enjoyed the Thai cuisine. It was delicious. Lunch at a Thai cuisine buffet in a department store in Osaka. The variety of dishes available, including ones that you wouldn't normally order individually, is a highlight of this buffet. It's nice that they use new small plates to prevent the flavors from mixing. However, overall, the dishes lacked spiciness and the aroma was subdued, which left me feeling unsatisfied as someone who enjoys spicy and fragrant Thai cuisine.

I returned to Shinsaibashi after finishing my first meal quickly and found this place while walking around. It's a restaurant recognized by the Thai government! Since it's my second meal, I ordered a little less. I got stir-fried water spinach and Phat Phong curry. The dishes were brought out quickly, probably because the restaurant was not busy. The seasoning of the water spinach was excellent! This taste is something you can't find in Japan - it reminds me of the flavors I often enjoyed in Bangkok. Shortly after, the Phat Phong curry arrived. It looked delicious, so I also ordered some jasmine rice. The soft-shell crab was incredibly delicious! It was outstandingly tasty!! Everything else went well with the rice too! It's a perfect match! I can't compare this to anything else - it makes me want to go back to Bangkok, a place I haven't visited in a while.

I planned to visit on the weekend because they offer all-you-can-drink Singha beer. There was a wide variety of dishes, so I was able to taste a little bit of everything. While Chediluan's dishes can be spicy, there are also many options with milder flavors that even those who don't like spicy food can enjoy. Since I opted for the all-you-can-drink Singha beer, I ended up drinking four glasses right up until the last minute. I ended up feeling very full from the food and beer, and had a great time. I wasn't very good at Thai cuisine and was hesitant to try it, but I finally visited today. It was a buffet style, but the food was surprisingly delicious. The two types of curry and Tom Yum Kung were especially excellent. And all this for only 1500 yen, which seems like a great deal. I'm glad I found a restaurant that I will definitely visit again. I was in the mood for Thai food, so I visited this restaurant for dinner. This place is one of the 13 five-star certified Thai government recognized restaurants out of the 160 nationwide. I ordered the following dishes: - Kuay Teow Tom Yum (Spicy Noodle Soup) for 1408 yen: It tasted authentic with a good balance of spiciness and sweetness. It also had homemade shrimp balls which are commonly found in Thailand. - Yam Ma Kraw (Spicy Salad with Grilled Eggplant and Shrimp) for 1188 yen: The fragrant grilled eggplant was delicious. The food was a bit pricey for a light dinner. It would be more satisfying to come with a group and try different dishes or opt for a set menu. The food was very tasty! I would like to come back for lunch next time. Thank you for the meal!

I have used Uber Eats occasionally and this time I visited the restaurant for the first time. The atmosphere and taste were very good. The famous Khao Man Gai was delicious, and the green curry was creamy and tasty as well. I brought my elderly family members and they enjoyed all the dishes, including the non-spicy ones. Since I can't take them to Thailand easily, they were very happy. The tea pot service was cute.

This restaurant is an authentic Thai Chiang Mai restaurant located within walking distance from the subway stations Yotsubashi or Nishi-Ohashi. They offer a lunch buffet, and I had the Resort Buffet (90 minutes) on weekends and holidays for 2,178 yen, with the option for all-you-can-drink Singha draft beer (70 minutes) for an additional 1,628 yen (both prices include tax). The buffet had a wide variety of dishes, and I enjoyed eating heartily with the Singha draft beer. I had four glasses of beer and felt a bit tipsy by noon! The quality of the food was good, and I had a delicious meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the service of the staff were also good. I was full, so I paid the bill in about 50 minutes. Reservation at 11:00, arrived around 11:35 with about 5 people waiting in line... Is this the right order even if I had a reservation? What's the point of making a reservation?... Was seated at a table in the middle and ordered Tom Yum Goong in addition to the buffet... The dishes they offer are not much different from Yodoyabashi. Stick to the good dishes from Yodoyabashi... The fried rice is delicious... The Satsuma fried chicken is tasty... The fried potatoes are delicious... Tried some dishes I haven't had before... The fried tofu and boiled egg in the curry were both mediocre (didn't like the spices in the curry sauce so held back)... The fried squid was average... The meat dish that I couldn't quite identify was so-so. The Tom Yum Goong arrived in about 10 minutes... The world's top three soups are... It's just spicy and sour... It was a new taste for me, managed to eat the shrimp but the flavors were too strong... Left most of it uneaten... Went back for the initial tasty dishes and sampled the desserts, which were okay. Paid 2,838 yen with a card... Time for dessert.

I went to Chediruan for a Thai cuisine buffet. The restaurant had a great resort feel inside. Even though there were descriptions for the dishes, I couldn't really understand them, so I just took one dish at a time. In the end, after trying about three plates, I realized that everything was delicious. The curry looked spicy but wasn't, and the seemingly normal fried chicken was actually spicy (laughs). For dessert, I had tapioca and chilled out at the drink bar. It was a great meal.

I went to Chediluan in Kita Horie. This is a Thai restaurant certified by the Thai government. I went on a weekday at 11:30, but it's recommended to make a reservation. By around 12 o'clock, they were already fully booked with a waiting list. I tried a variety of dishes, but the green curry and red curry were outstanding. They were not too spicy and very delicious. I also tried the green curry at another authentic Thai restaurant, and it was quite spicy. I felt that they probably adjusted the taste to suit Japanese preferences. None of the dishes I tried were too spicy. They have a variety of Thai dishes like Thai yakisoba, fried rice, grilled chicken, fresh spring rolls, khao man gai, and pad krapow, perfect for those who want to try a little bit of everything. I saw a review saying that rice was not refilled, but until around 1 pm, it was replenished promptly. It's a great deal for around 1500 yen! I was very satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

Chediluan Kitahorie Main Store. A restaurant serving Northern Thai cuisine. They also have branches in Yodoyabashi and Harbis. I'm not a big fan of coriander, so I tend to avoid Vietnamese and Thai cuisine, but decided to give their lunch buffet a try. I went in with the mindset of "I should be able to eat something" and ended up trying almost all the dishes, with no issues. Compared to another Thai restaurant I visited before, I felt like they cater more to Japanese taste buds. This place is apparently a Thai Select Signature 5-star restaurant certified by the Thai government. Resort Lunch Buffet (90 minutes) 1595 yen.

I enjoyed the resort buffet for 90 minutes on a weekday for 1595 yen and indulged in Thai cuisine! Oh, everything was delicious! It's amazing that you can eat such delicious Thai cuisine at this price! I'm glad I came! Especially, I loved the Khao Man Gai and the dish that was like shrimp mayo. They were incredibly delicious. Various sauces and spices were provided to accompany the dishes, which was wonderful. I love spicy food, so I was able to make it super spicy! Thank you for the meal!

They have a special discount for 20 people who follow them on Instagram only on Tuesdays. I arrived 25 minutes before opening time. Of course, there was no one there. I wandered around a bit and returned 10 minutes before opening time, where there was already a group of three waiting. Perfect timing! After the restaurant opened, I ordered a draft beer and enjoyed all the dishes they had to offer. About 30 minutes later, I left the restaurant. It was a delicious meal.

A Thai government-approved Thai restaurant. There are three stores in Osaka - Yodoyabashi, Horie, and Umeda, and also one in the department store basement. The Umeda store has a nice view and atmosphere, but prices are a bit high. Despite being government-approved, the food is not very spicy and has a lot of sweetness tailored for Japanese taste. Some dishes may be pre-made, and popular items like fresh spring rolls may not be restocked promptly, or not at all. They offer dishes like Gai Yang, Khao Man Gai, Pad Kra Pao, Pad Thai, Yam Wun Sen, Green and Red Curry, Tom Yum Goong, salads, Som Tam, fried dishes, etc. There are around four dessert options, including chocolate fondue. It's recommended to enter the store right when it opens, take your favorite dishes, and enjoy them at a leisurely pace within the time limit. This way, you can feel satisfied considering the price.

I went to a lunch buffet with a friend. There were many Thai dishes that I couldn't make myself, which is the best part of a buffet. I quickly ordered Tom Yum Goong as soon as I sat down, but then realized there was a similar dish on the buffet. The soup was delicious. In 2013, when the Thai royal family visited Osaka, Chedi Luang Yodoyabashi offered a special menu: Ouswan (Thai-style street food monjayaki using Hiroshima oysters) for 1,280 yen. First visit. I wanted to try something a little different to eat, so I chose this place. One person had to cancel last minute because they became a close contact of a COVID case. When I arrived at the restaurant and explained the situation, I offered to pay for the canceled person's portion, but the staff kindly said it was okay. The atmosphere inside was very ethnic♫ Since it was my first time, I ordered the set course, but it seemed like many people around me were ordering a la carte, maybe because they were regulars? The dishes that came out all had a Thai flavor, giving me a taste of a foreign country♫ It was delicious, cheap, and came with all-you-can-drink, allowing me to experience a foreign atmosphere.
