Recently, I've been feeling a bit tired, so I decided to boost my stamina by going to a yakiniku (grilled meat) restaurant today. I had read some reviews about this place and it caught my interest. Although I have been to nearby restaurants before, this one was a first for me. It's interesting how there are many yakiniku restaurants in this area.
For my first order, I chose the Hormone Teishoku priced at 580 yen. When I placed my order, they asked me if I wanted the rice to be regular, and without understanding why, I just answered, "Yes." It was around 11:30 a.m. when I arrived at the restaurant, and there was only one customer ahead of me. But soon after, more male customers started coming in, and by the time I finished eating and left, the place was almost full. It seems to be quite a popular spot.
After a while, my teishoku arrived with the sizzling sound of the hot plate. I always fall for this kind of presentation. As I was taking photos, my camera lens kept fogging up.
Now, let's dig in. First, I tried the vegetables and hormone together... Wow, delicious! The cabbage is so crunchy. Surprisingly, the hormone is quite tender. This texture is unusual. The sauce is your typical yakiniku sauce, but I love the taste that screams "I'm eating yakiniku!" The rice portion is huge. Is this really a regular serving? The bowl has depth, so it's quite a lot. Honestly, I'm glad I didn't go for the large serving.
I noticed that there were a lot of male customers. I added more of the yakiniku sauce that was on the table, labeled "strong taste." It really made the rice go down smoothly.
The hormone here is so delicious. It's firm yet tender... I think the way they cook it is just perfect. Normally, intestines have a rubbery texture, so it can be tricky to swallow, but this one is tender, so I don't have to worry about that. I think it's all in the way they cook it.
With that said, I finished the seemingly large amount of rice I thought I had with ease. Ah, I'm so full!
As for the other customers, it seems like the Yakiniku Teishoku priced at 580 yen is the most popular, followed by the Hormone Teishoku... Some people were also eating yakisoba. I'm glad I found this great restaurant. Thank you to the reviewer. I'll definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.
