Happy Halloween to AIMAI-san! I tried the Ghost Marshmallow for 550 yen and the Berry Chocolate for 600 yen. The Halloween limited menu was so cute and delicious, with purple parts made of purple sweet potato and orange parts made of pumpkin, topped with freshly squeezed Mont Blanc cream. The drink was a perfect blend of berry acidity and chocolate sweetness. I really love this adorable shop!

AIMAI @ Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City - A cozy café called "AIMAI" located near "Toyakaratei" along the railway tracks seems popular on "Tabelog" and "Google Maps". I decided to visit. As I entered, I realized it was a stylish café where only girls seemed to come in. I secured a seat and ordered a "Black Sugar Brulee Latte" for 600 yen. The drink was sweet and delicious, served on a unique tray. The atmosphere of the café was very pleasant. AIMAI 812-0011 1F, Hakataekimae 4-32-14, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City Phone: 092-292-7696

A popular Korean-style cafe with unique sweets and drinks that change seasonally, making you want to visit multiple times! Hojicha Cream Chocolate Brownie (600 yen) has a black soft serve cone filled with chocolate brownie and hojicha cream, topped with crushed Oreos. It looks impressive but can be a bit difficult to eat, so not recommended for a date haha. However, the taste is rich and delicious with both chocolate and hojicha flavors. The Strawberry Chocolate (600 yen) has a perfect balance of strawberry acidity and chocolate sweetness, with irresistible overflowing cream. The owner, who was born in Korea and raised in New Zealand, runs the cafe inspired by urban open spaces overseas, with cool concrete interiors and high-quality photo spots. You can understand why it's so popular! Check out my Instagram momono._.o for more Fukuoka gourmet recommendations! If you don't want to make a dining mistake, follow for more♫

I went to try the limited-time new products. This time, I ordered:
- Bottom Ice Cream Smooth Sesame Cake: I thought it looked like a bottom just by looking at the ice cream on top, and it turned out to be a bottom for real! A unique dessert!
- American Non-Sugar Cream: Just the American Non was too bitter for me, so I was grateful for the cream!
- Matcha Soft Choco Cookie: The visual was really amazing! The bitterness of the matcha was wonderful! The sugar and cookie were a bit too sweet for me though.
- Brown Sugar Brulee Latte: This was what my friend ordered, I didn't drink it myself, but the visual was really eye-catching!
Lately, many sister stores have opened and it seems like the customers are more spread out, so the lines on weekdays have become shorter, making it easier to visit. I appreciate that they always come up with new products! Looking forward to the next new item!

A cafe that is open until midnight. It's a 12-minute walk from Hakata Station. I walked there at night when there were few people around, feeling a bit nervous. This shop is popular for its photogenic sweets, but the menu is different between day and night. I couldn't find what I was looking for, so I asked the staff. They showed me a photo on their phone. I ordered an ice cream cake with nuts and dry flowers on top, which looked beautiful. I didn't have high expectations for the taste, but it was delicious! I want to come back for lunch too. The cafe latte was also to my liking. The interior of the shop had a nice, chic feel that I liked.

I ordered a strawberry chocolate drink and an ice cake. The menu and the interior of the shop were very stylish. The strawberry chocolate drink allowed me to enjoy the harmony of chocolate, strawberry, and cream. The cocoa flavor helped balance out the sweetness. The ice cake had a layer of cream and salty cookies on the bottom of the ice cheesecake, topped with chocolate sauce. Depending on which part of the cake you eat, the taste changes, making it interesting to eat. The menu looked amazing and eating there really boosted my mood.

After visiting a cafe that stays open past 10 pm, I found it to be a perfect spot for when you want to chat more after eating. The interior was very dark, with mostly candlelight (although they were electronic candles). There were unexpected steps in the dim lighting, so I had to be careful with my footing. A young woman was running the place on her own, and she seemed very relaxed. The menu was limited, which may have been why. I wished there were more options, but I settled for a cafe latte. It was quite a big serving, which felt a bit heavy for the evening, but the coffee itself was delicious! There were other customers, like foreigners and women dining alone, but the cafe was too dark for work and the seats were uncomfortable for long stays. The upbeat background music didn't quite match the atmosphere, so I couldn't help but think they could attract more customers with some improvements. Still, I appreciated that they were open late.

Today's fifth meal was a visit to "AIMAI," where they serve Instagram-worthy taiyaki only during lunchtime. The restaurant is located about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station, along the JR overpass. Despite the lack of a long line, the taiyaki that didn't quite meet the Instagram standard is only available during lunch hours.
Upon being seated, we ordered the following items from the menu:
- Berry Lime (700 yen)
- Honey Lemon (700 yen)
- Tiramisu (600 yen)
The prices were all rounded off neatly, perhaps to avoid dealing with change. The tables were just frames, with the food and drinks served on trays that fit into the frame. The Berry Lime drink was visually appealing, with a wine-colored hue and a separate soda to mix in. It had a nice balance of sweetness and tanginess. The Honey Lemon drink was also served with a separate soda to mix in, resulting in a delicious blend of honey sweetness and lemon sourness. The Tiramisu was a standout, with a chocolatey base that had a mix of bitterness and sweetness, complemented by the addition of cream, cocoa powder, and a unique leaf (possibly rosemary) that added a special touch.
Despite the slightly long walk from the station, AIMAI is a trendy cafe popular among locals. Next time, I'll definitely try the taiyaki during lunchtime! Thank you for the meal.

A super stylish Korean-style cafe very popular in Hakata. The interior with exposed concrete is a cool monochrome space. They are open until midnight, so you can also enjoy a late-night cafe experience. I arrived around 13:25 on a holiday and had to wait for about 30 minutes as there were 2 groups ahead of me. By the time I left the shop after 15:00, there was already a line forming! I tried the following items: Ichigo Daifuku with Tai-shaped Monaka for 600 yen, Ichigo Chocolate Mousse for 600 yen, Ichigo Brownie for 700 yen, and Berry Chocolate for 600 yen. The Daifuku had a Tai-shaped monaka sticking out, the chocolate mousse had flowers growing on it, and they all looked very Instagrammable. The Berry Chocolate Latte had a dollop of cream and a sweet and sour berry sauce, not too sweet and very delicious. There is also a photo spot at the back of the shop, a space that girls will love. The quality exceeded my expectations and I was very excited!

The space was very stylish and amazing! There were a lot of people in their teens and twenties. Depending on the time of day, there may be a line to get in, so be prepared. The portions were generous and the taste and presentation were all great. The coffee was also delicious! They have seasonal sweets that come out at different times, so it's a cafe that makes you want to go back again. ☕️

It's a very cute space. The interior is in black and white, making every corner perfect for photos (lol). Everything on the menu looked lovely, and what I personally liked was that the sweets, which looked so cute, were delicious without being too sweet. The drinks may vary in sweetness depending on the type, but the chocolate ones are quite sweet. Looking around the store, I got the impression that there were a lot of young people, including myself (o^^o). I heard that the menu changes depending on the season. I would love to visit again when I come back to Fukuoka!

A popular cafe for women. It is a sister store to the nearby cafe, "i don't know". The cafe was crowded with many female customers, and there was a long line! I ordered a matcha latte which was a bit luxurious with Haagen-Dazs ice cream. The cafe menu had many other delicious dessert options as well!

I was drawn in by the visual of Ice Cream Monaka for ¥550 and Drip Coffee for ¥500. I ordered the Ice Cream Monaka and it was delicious, with red bean paste spread on the base Monaka, topped with ice cream and black honey. The coffee was easy to drink and tasty! However, the low tables and shallow plates, combined with the generous amount of kinako powder, can lead to accidents if you laugh or lose concentration while eating. Be careful! The interior was full of young girls, with photo spots, so it might be a bit awkward for men or those dining alone.

There is a long line of girls every day at the Ai Donno and Ai Maido, sister stores located in Hakata Station South. I wonder if they are popular on Instagram or something? When I went in the evening, Ai Donno was full but this place was empty so I decided to try it out. I had the chocolate coffee. The space was stylish with exposed concrete. They accept electronic payments. There are plenty of parking lots within a few minutes' walk nearby.

I visited a café and had the following desserts: Ice cream monaka (550 yen), Matcha chocolate mousse (600 yen), Matcha brulee (600 yen), and Berry chocolate (600 yen). The visuals are so appealing that you'll want to take pictures. The prices are also reasonable.

The entrance is a bit hard to find. Open the black door behind the sign (triangular cone) to enter. The interior is minimal and chic. Visited around 12 pm on a Saturday. Plenty of seats available. Mostly women customers. The staff's attire looks like casual wear, making it hard to distinguish them from customers at first glance. Given the menu and told, "You can see menu photos on Instagram highlights." Accessed Instagram via QR code. Very easy to navigate and felt a sense of style. Called the staff to order. After a while, cute dishes arrived as expected!! The simple table and dishes contrasted nicely with the flashy and elegant desserts and drinks, making them look cute. And they were delicious as well. The taste was refined. There were many menu items I wanted to try. The unique and original menu items were a major attraction that set it apart from other cafes. I will definitely visit again when in Hakata. [Order] ・SOY Drink > Matcha (Iced) ・Dessert > Matcha Mousse

The atmosphere was super cute and the cheesecake was really delicious, I didn't get tired of the taste at all! The chocolate latte was also delicious with just the right amount of sweetness! There's no door so it's a bit hard to find, but the atmosphere is really great so I highly recommend it! The staff were cool and cute too!

Located a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station, this Korean-style cafe may appear like an office from the outside, making you wonder if it's really a cafe. However, upon entering, we were greeted by a staff member. The interior has a monochrome warehouse-like atmosphere, with exposed steel beams and old machinery, giving off a trendy vibe. There are also photo spots, which explains its popularity among young people. The menu is text-only, but you can view images on Instagram. This time, we ordered a hojicha chocolate cake and a chocolate drink. The hojicha chocolate cake was moist and rich, with a strong hojicha flavor complemented by hints of cocoa. It's a flavor I enjoy. The chocolate drink was topped with overflowing cream and chocolate, making for an impressive visual. It's a drink, but it has a crunchy chocolate texture, making it more like a drinkable chocolate treat. The desserts, drinks, and the interior of the shop were all artistic.

It's about a 15-minute walk from Hakata Station. When I went, it was full and I had to wait, but there was no waiting area inside, so they told me to wait outside across the street by the utility pole. There was no roof, and it was extremely hot in the summer, so I needed a parasol. I thought they should have a better waiting area. You can view the menu on Instagram highlights. I wondered what people who don't use Instagram do. The system was to order at the table, but some people went to the counter to order, so a brief explanation would be helpful. The drinks were amazing with reasonable prices. The taste was incredibly delicious, almost too good to drink.

About a 15-minute walk along the train tracks from Hakata Station, there is a coffee shop with a long line, especially on weekends. The shop is hard to spot from the outside, with only a small sign at the bottom. They take pride in their coffee, with a focus on direct roasting. The interior is small with limited seating, which contributes to the long wait times. I ordered a Biscuit Latte, Soy Matcha, and Azuki Bean Cake. The Biscuit Latte had a Lotus cookie on top, making it visually appealing. The Soy Matcha was sweet but delicious. The Azuki Bean Cake had red bean paste, cream cheese, custard, and nuts inside a fish-shaped pastry. It was simple but tasty and cute. I would consider going back if it was closer, but I wouldn't want to wait in line again. I wonder how busy it is on weekdays.

Visited during the opening hours on Friday. I had heard that it gets really crowded, but maybe because it was a weekday, it was pretty much empty until I left! Upon entering, I chose my favorite seat that was available. Orders were taken at the table, and payment was made at the counter at the end. (They accepted cash or PayPay) I ordered the following three items this time: - Matcha (Hot) for 550 yen - Houjicha (Hot) for 550 yen I often see drinks with a lot of ice cream on top on Instagram, but I was afraid of getting too full just from the drinks, so I opted for simpler options this time. Both were soy-based drinks, and the sweetness was just right, very delicious. - Strawberry Mousse for 600 yen The mousse was not too firm or too soft. It had a light texture with a sweet and sour taste that was easy to finish in one go. I chose it purely based on cuteness with the berry sauce and cream drizzle, but it was really delicious! The staff was also friendly and provided attentive service. I regret not taking the shop card that was under the register... I would like to visit again.
