I finally visited a French toast specialty shop in Tenroku that I've been wanting to go to for a while! It was my first visit to Cafe Fate with my wife. The address of Cafe Fate is 1-6-16 Honjo Higashi, Kita-ku, Osaka City, a 2-minute walk from Osaka Metro "Tenjinbashi Rokuchome" station. It is a cafe ranked in the top 5000 on Tabelog. There is a sign along the main street, but the actual sign of the shop is not very noticeable, so spotting this sign is crucial on the first visit. We arrived at the shop around 1 pm. If you walk absentmindedly, you will almost pass by it (^_^;) I didn't know that there was a polarized glasses shop that I have been using on this street before (^_^;) Cafe Fate does not accept seat reservations. Luckily, there were available seats, so we asked the staff and entered! We thoroughly disinfected our hands with alcohol sanitizer, got permission for taking photos, and sat at a table. The menu cover expresses Cafe Fate's thoughts. The current limited quantities are "Autumn Chestnut Cream French Toast" and "Grape and Fig French Toast Parfait." Since they are limited, we confirmed if they were still available before ordering. My wife ordered two Grape and Fig French Toast Parfaits. While waiting, I took some photos. The interior of the cafe has a natural taste and a tropical fish tank. There are single seats, counter seats, 2-person tables, and 4-person tables, making it a versatile cafe. The single seat behind the fish tank is not visible from the road, so it feels like even a husband alone could enter. The parfaits arrived. My wife: "Oh, figs!" Me: "Oh, Shine Muscat!" Let's eat~ The top has mint, whipped cream, figs, and Shine Muscat grapes! The ripe fruits with mildly sweet whipped cream are refreshing! Under the whipped cream is vanilla ice cream, creating a wonderful contrast of coldness and sweetness! Under the vanilla ice cream is the flagship menu item, French toast for the parfait! Even though it's refrigerated for the parfait, it's still incredibly delicious! It's soaked in the batter, with the flavor of eggs and a fluffy sweetness! Under the French toast is blueberry sauce and cream cheese! This layer emphasizes the sweetness and acidity, and at the bottom is a grape jelly with Kyoho grape pulp! It's amazing! We enjoyed it without getting tired and happily finished it. My wife also seemed very satisfied! After paying the bill and thanking the staff, we left Cafe Fate. Me: "Thank you for the meal! It was delicious! I'll come again!" My wife: "I want to eat French toast again..."
