Although the parfait had French toast in it, making it seem like a heavy dessert, it was satisfying to eat, with a good balance of sweetness, and I enjoyed it until the end!

There is a sign along the main street, but the actual sign of the shop is not very noticeable, so spotting this sign is crucial on the first visit. We arrived at the shop around 1 pm. If you walk absentmindedly, you will almost pass by it (^_^;) I didn't know that there was a polarized glasses shop that I have been using on this street before (^_^;) Cafe Fate does not accept seat reservations. Luckily, there were available seats, so we asked the staff and entered! We thoroughly disinfected our hands with alcohol sanitizer, got permission for taking photos, and sat at a table. The menu cover expresses Cafe Fate's thoughts. The current limited quantities are "Autumn Chestnut Cream French Toast" and "Grape and Fig French Toast Parfait." Since they are limited, we confirmed if they were still available before ordering. My wife ordered two Grape and Fig French Toast Parfaits. While waiting, I took some photos. The interior of the cafe has a natural taste and a tropical fish tank. There are single seats, counter seats, 2-person tables, and 4-person tables, making it a versatile cafe. This is my first time going to a cafe specifically for French toast! The shop was closed when I visited before, so I think they have irregular hours. I'm so happy to finally be able to go. The French toast takes about 15 minutes to make, so it's better to go with some extra time. I ordered the seasonal French toast and the classic Royal French toast. It was so fluffy and delicious, I've never had French toast this good before! It's quite big, so if you go alone, you might get really full, so it might be good to share.

It was a bit early for cafe time on a Saturday around 1 pm, but being one of the top 100 shops from 2017 to 2020, I wondered if there would be a line. To my surprise, the place was quietly cute, with just one other group of customers. The interior was simple and stylish, like a chic living room. There was only one staff member working, which made me appreciate the dream job they must have. I ordered the "French toast with burnt butter and caramelized almond" for 750 yen and the "Autumn chestnut cream French toast" for 850 yen. I also got a "Fruit tea soda" for 550 yen. They mentioned it would take about 15 minutes, which was understandable given the single staff member. The order was served in about 10 minutes. The thick toast was perfectly crispy on the outside and had a moist, almost Swiss roll-like texture inside. The "burnt butter" one had banana, butter, sliced almonds, and honey, but too much honey made it overly sweet. The "Autumn chestnut" one had a generous amount of chestnut cream, but it was also too sweet, overpowering the toast's flavor. Maybe adding fruit toppings would have balanced it out. The "Fruit tea soda" was refreshing and visually appealing. Overall, the cafe had a nice ambiance, and the French toast was delicious, despite being a bit too sweet.

I was able to enter the restaurant around 11:50 am. I ordered the Peach French Toast Parfait for 1590 yen (tax included). While the restaurant is known for its French toast, I couldn't resist ordering the new Peach Parfait that I saw on Instagram a few days before my visit. As soon as I tried to order, I was told that there were only a few Peach Parfaits left and orders would be taken in the order of arrival. The parfait had a whole peach compote on top of the glass, with a creamy diplomat cream inside. Underneath the vanilla ice cream and whipped cream was the signature French toast. The French toast was pre-made for the parfait but still delicious, soaked in the batter and had a fluffy sweetness. The bottom of the glass was filled with fresh cut peaches, sweet and juicy, making it a parfait that you wouldn't get tired of. I finished it in no time. The restaurant does not accept credit cards, but you can use PayPay. When I left, the line was still as long as when I arrived. It was so delicious that I definitely want to come back when I visit Osaka again. Next time, I want to try the signature French toast.

I visited a shop at Tenroku Sweets Hyakumeiten for the first time! I visited on Sunday at noon, and there were 7 people waiting outside. I waited for half an hour before entering! I ordered the Royal French Toast! It was fluffy, moist, and had a good elasticity! I enjoyed it very much.
