I went to Fukuoka Effect with a friend and stopped by for lunch on the way back. I usually go to Ohashi, so Fukushige was a first for me. It was also spacious and relaxing. It was before 2 o'clock, so the restaurant was not crowded. The lunch menu had a summer version, and everything looked delicious, but because it was hot, I chose the Kisogawa cold shabu shabu as the main dish (1760 yen) and asked for mixed grain rice. I also added the roast beef nigiri sushi, which was half price due to a campaign (1100 yen). Additionally, for an extra charge, we ordered dessert. My friend had the fruit daifuku, and I changed mine to peach anmitsu because I love the desserts at Kisogawa. We chatted while waiting, and the food was finally served. The cold shabu shabu, tuna and grated yam, tempura summer vegetables, and other colorful dishes were delightful. The shabu shabu had tender meat with walnuts and peanuts in a special sesame sauce, which was delicious. I enjoyed not only the meat but also the udon noodles with the sesame sauce. We shared the roast beef sushi, and even though we were quite full, we still had room for dessert. Some people come here just for dessert, and I can understand why. Lunch is convenient and affordable, but only the Fukushige branch offers a limited-time "dinner set" where you can enjoy lunch menu items in the evening as well. It's great to be able to enjoy a reasonably priced dinner, which tends to be expensive. Next month, matsutake mushrooms will be added, which I look forward to every year. I must try the dobin mushi! The eel set sounds good too. I will visit again. Thank you for the meal!

I always look forward to the changing lunch menu every season. The fresh sashimi was carefully prepared and the wasabi had a nice kick to it. The lotus root manju, grated yam rice, and other dishes offered a variety of flavors. I enjoyed the half-priced peach jelly with a leisurely cup of hot coffee at the end.

They came to ask if they could clear the table even though there was still food left, including pickles and sushi. It had only been about 20 minutes since they started eating. They seemed eager to clean up quickly. They poured the soup into the plate, making a mess and making noise when placing the plate. The service seemed very careless. The last dishes, kishimen and mochi, were served, but the mochi was extremely hard like rubber. The kishimen was served 30 minutes after the meal was provided, so it felt like we were being rushed to eat, which was disappointing.

I was hesitant because the menu seemed to have a lot of carbohydrates, but the signature lunch at Kisoji did not disappoint. The udon with a unique sauce had ginger on the side, and the ingredients were varied. The steamed crab sushi was warm and delicious, and the amazake dessert had just the right amount of sweetness.

We had sukiyaki at a restaurant with two households. The meat was very tender and delicious! At first, the staff cooked it for us. We also ordered additional meat, and by the end, we were full from the noodles. There were many people, including children, but we were able to enjoy our meal leisurely.

Despite expecting a price increase, I had my usual lunch here. The variety has increased, but the volume and quality remain satisfying. Today, I enjoyed an after-coffee with a service voucher. If I may be indulgent, I wish they would include ☕️ with the regular meal as well.

The hot steamed vegetables and pork belly with sesame sauce was delicious. The steamed sushi with crab, sashimi, tempura, and other dishes showcased the quality of the ingredients. The coffee service allowed for refills, and we were able to relax after the meal with dessert. The Wi-Fi was a nice touch.

This was my first time using it for lunch, not for shabu-shabu. I used to live near the Mitaka store in Tokyo, so I used it for all-you-can-eat before. I went to the Yoga store during festivals or the New Year. I ordered the Wagyu Hitsumabushi for 2200 yen. I've had eel hitsumabushi before, but this was my first time trying beef. It was delicious! I took a bite as is. Delicious! I added condiments and had another bite. Delicious! I poured the broth over it and had another bite. Delicious!!! Truly delicious, as expected from Wagyu. It was tender, fatty, juicy, and tasty. It wasn't as impressive as the eel version, but it was simply delicious. Thank you for the meal.

We came to Kisoji to eat shabu-shabu, but when we saw the menu, we felt like having sukiyaki instead. We ordered the premium sukiyaki for 3500 yen. The staff prepared the sukiyaki for us. It was delicious, with the tender Japanese beef melting in our mouths. We wanted more meat, so we had extra eggs and a tomato salad as a palate cleanser, followed by ice cream for dessert. We left satisfied.

First of all, I was surprised by the smooth texture of the tuna. The live octopus was also fresh. Each dish had a good portion size, and I couldn't finish the mixed rice. The tempura fish was delicious, and the beef salad was made with high-quality meat. In addition, I had a mini parfait and coffee (refills allowed) for a total of around 2000 yen for lunch.

I made a reservation for lunch on a weekday. We were seated in a private room with a nice view of a small garden from the window, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The staff were friendly. When I asked if I could have hot water to make milk for my child, they kindly accommodated my request, for which I am grateful.

In Kyushu, the first store was located in the Tenjin DADA Building. I have also been to the Tenjin Diamond Building store several times. It brings back memories! This time, I visited Kisoji near the Fukue JCT on Route 202. When searching for shabu-shabu in the Nishi Ward and Sawara Ward, "Nishishin Hatsuki" or this place comes up. This time, I thoroughly enjoyed the "Japanese beef marbled shabu-shabu"! [Japanese Beef Special Marbled Meat 6,800 yen (excluding tax)] - Appetizer - Assorted sashimi - Shabu-shabu (meat and vegetable assortment) - Kishimen noodles, rice cakes, rice, pickles, dessert As a rare meat lover, I dip the meat in hot water for "0.5 seconds" and almost eat it raw! It's a split-second decision. Shabu-shabu with "pork" is delicious, but the "beef" marbled meat melts in your mouth. The sesame sauce and ponzu alternatingly taste delicious! "Additional meat!" It's better than yakiniku! I was very satisfied with the shabu-shabu! The customer service at the restaurant was very polite and kind, making me feel at ease. Thank you for the feast!

Meat never betrays me! I love shabu-shabu. I often make hot pot at home. When I go to Kisoji after a long time, oh, the meat is really delicious, the broth is gentle, and the vegetables are fresh, it's so different from home. Sometimes I learn from professional flavors and incorporate them into my dining table at home!

On this day, I had dinner at Kisouji - it's been a while since I dined in Fukushige. I was torn between the Chinese restaurant next door, but I wanted to eat fugu, so I decided to come here. I ordered the evening kaiseki course and separately ordered the tiger fugu tessa. Originally, I used to frequent this restaurant for study purposes, but compared to other Japanese chain restaurants, this place is perfect. Of course, if you look closely, there may be some flaws, but overall, it's a top-notch restaurant. The first course is a crab and terrine (Japanese-style taste) served in the hassun. It's a bit of a shame that there's no explanation of the dishes. So, I'm not sure if my description is accurate, so please bear with me. And finally, the mukozuke. They brought out the tiger fugu tessa that I ordered separately first (^∇^) It turns out it's not wild fugu (◎-◎;) and there's quite a bit of it too (@_@) Let's dig in (゜-゜)(。_。)(゜-゜)(。_。)ヽ(;゚;Д;゚;; )ギャァァァ Wow, this is delicious! Σ(-∀-;) And it's fresh!! (゜ロ゜ノ)ノ It's been a while since I've had it, but it's definitely different from the usual. It's on a level you rarely find even in Shimonoseki. And to enjoy it at a chain restaurant like this (◎-◎;) And it was only around 4000 yen? Big chains really can't be beat in terms of sourcing ( ;∀;) Then, the sashimi in the kaiseki course consists of real tuna and live tai sashimi. The tai has visible farmed lines, but it's a nicely shaped live fish with a good texture and delicious taste. The tuna is also above average. No complaints (◎-◎;) And next up is the main dish - grilled wagyu with miso on a magnolia leaf. It looks amazing, doesn't it? d(*`・(エ)・´*)b Magnolia leaves have a great fragrance, don't they? Various other dishes came out, making it a delightful feast. With delicious fugu and food, the sake also went down smoothly. It was lucky that they had my favorite shochu, Kai, as well. I'm giving a 5-star rating to a chain restaurant for the first time - it was a wonderful experience.

The main dish was beef grilled on magnolia leaves, and it had a substantial volume. With a 100 yen discount, I changed the dessert to Dekopon citrus sweet red bean soup. Adding coffee allowed me to relax and enjoy my meal.

I had shabu-shabu. The meat was delicious but a bit small in portion. I also felt that there were slightly few vegetables. The dessert, ice cream, took a while to come out. If they want to maintain their slightly high-end image, they should work on training their staff a bit more. I received a free voucher for additional meat, but I don't think I'll be revisiting within the next 2 months. Overall, I had a good time and might visit again for the atmosphere.

Lunch set with beef shabu-shabu and Inaniwa udon as the main dish, priced at 1650 yen. You can enjoy it twice as much with both noodle broth and sesame sauce. The summer vegetable jelly salad has a ginger flavor. You can also enjoy tuna and grated yam, and as always, I am amazed by the quality.

I attended a company social gathering at a restaurant. We had the Amakusa course with all-you-can-drink option. Today's sashimi included lean tuna and a type of white fish. The amberjack sashimi was particularly delicious with its fatty texture. The beef for shabu-shabu was high quality, but I wish there was a bit more of it. Interestingly, you have to drink a bottled beer first before being able to order draft beer for the all-you-can-drink option. Rice is served at the end, but for those who don't like pickles, they can just have the rice. Perhaps they should consider this a bit more.
