Hakata shop is close to my workplace and I often go there for lunch, but I had never been there for dinner. However, based on my experience with Hakata shop, I was able to easily identify the restaurant from the exterior and open the door without any issues. I saw on RKB's "Majimon!" that Chinpunkanpun (Hakata shop) was ranked first in Fukuoka City's popular yakitori restaurants, so I decided to check it out. The 2nd to 5th places were also restaurants I had visited at least three times each. If you're interested, I recommend looking them up. They operate on a one-drink order system. Even though I can't drink alcohol right now, my husband ordered two glasses of shochu. Here is what we ordered: - BIG Bara (chicken thigh) 418 yen - Miso Bara (miso-marinated chicken thigh) 242 yen - Hatsu (chicken heart) 176 yen - Liver 176 yen - Darm (chicken intestines) 220 yen - Extra crispy chicken skin 396 yen - Seseri (chicken neck) 220 yen - All-purpose negima (chicken and leek skewer) 220 yen - Chicken Harami (chicken skirt meat) 220 yen - Kuro Kirishima (shochu on the rocks) 550 yen x 2 - Table charge 220 yen x 2 The skewers took a bit of time to come out, but it wasn't too long. Once they started serving, the skewers arrived one after another, so I wish we had spaced out our orders. Each skewer was large, and before we knew it, our table was filled with yakitori. The first one served was the "Extra crispy chicken skin," which was indeed very crispy. It was a sight to behold. All the skewers were delicious and satisfyingly large, but my favorite was the Hatsu (chicken heart)! The heart-shaped skewer was artistic, and the grilling was perfect. My husband even said it might be the best yakitori he's ever had. My personal ranking: 1st: Hatsu 176 yen 2nd: BIG Bara 418 yen 3rd: Chicken Harami 220 yen The Miso Bara had a crispy miso coating, which was a bit disappointing for me, but it's a matter of personal preference. We weren't very hungry, so we thought we'd eat lightly, but ended up feeling very full. Sharing skewers is definitely enough. The total bill for two people was 3,872 yen! Next time, I want to try something other than skewers, like ramen.

This izakaya serves a variety of delicious Fukuoka specialties such as motsunabe, sesame mackerel, and skin. Everything I ordered was tasty and I really enjoyed it. I will definitely go back again! They also have a second floor seating area. The first floor has chairs, while the second floor has a more traditional seating arrangement on the floor.

There is a really hard-to-find restaurant in a tricky location. Even when you get to the front of the restaurant, you might not know how to get in! It's quite exciting for first-time visitors, so go with a sense of adventure. Inside, the atmosphere is calm with a black color scheme. The restaurant is spacious, with even a second floor. If it's your first time there, they will recommend some delicious dishes for you. Everything you eat there is tasty. I ordered skewers of miso pork, chicken liver, and chicken skin, but the portions were huge! If you order like you would at a regular yakitori restaurant, you'll get a massive amount of food. But it's all delicious. You'll definitely get full, but the food is so good that you'll keep eating. I look forward to trying more dishes there in the future. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant is a izakaya without a signboard. As of December 22, 2018, there is only one review on Tabelog. I visited the restaurant on a Saturday at 7:30 pm with a reservation made the day before. The exterior of the restaurant looks like a closed factory, with no lights on, making it difficult to notice that there is a restaurant there. Inside the restaurant, I was surprised to find the first floor and the second floor tatami rooms almost full. The available tables had hot pots prepared, indicating that the second floor was also full. The second surprise was the size of the dishes. Although the prices were similar to other izakayas, the portion sizes were 1.5 to 2 times larger. It made sense as there were many young groups and families with children dining. Not knowing about the large portion sizes, we ended up taking some of the skewers home. The taste of the dishes was as expected. The beef tongue and salted pork belly were tough. The good dishes were the grated yam on hot plate and Caesar salad. The grated yam had a nice sweet sauce, and the Caesar salad seemed to have been lightly sautéed before serving, giving it a slightly warm touch. We tried various dishes, and the total bill for three people was 6,300 yen, which is inexpensive. However, despite the low price, I am undecided on whether I would revisit. I should have gone to "Shinsamushi" for a new experience...

About a 5-minute walk from JR Nishitetsu Kasugahara Station on the Kasuga City side, there is a restaurant that specializes in yakitori. The entrance may seem like an office at first glance, but there is a pleasant aroma outside. They offer a variety of skewers with generous portions. I particularly enjoyed the tare-flavored yakitori, and the salt option was not confirmed. The sasami steak was also delicious, with a good taste of the meat. I found the drink selection to be limited, and overall, the seasoning was on the stronger side, which may appeal more to younger customers.

The grilling is done perfectly, with each skewer cooked just right. The staff are friendly and attentive, making sure to check on customers' needs regularly. The dark and mysterious exterior of the restaurant contrasts with the warm and inviting atmosphere inside. This was my first visit, but I will definitely be coming back again.
