After drinking alcohol, I chose the most expensive regular price ramen, "Gokukarakamen 990 yen -> 550 yen", but it didn't suit my drunken state as the flavor was too strong! I regret not choosing the Gold Dragon Ramen for 800 yen. I finally understood that Gold Dragon Ramen is an amazing ramen that has been carefully calculated now that I'm in my 50s. #Ippudo #premium member #Gokukarakamen #Gold Dragon Ramen #I will probably lose my premium membership qualification this year.

Vegetable ramen, without chashu (it was late at night so haha). It had a lot of vegetables on top and was satisfying and delicious. There are many places where you can add toppings like bean sprouts, but getting a generous serving of stir-fried vegetables like this is the best! If you ask the staff, you can get mustard greens and spicy bean sprouts for free! Very generous! It has a nice spicy kick! This was my first time at Ichiran, and I think I like it more than Ichiran. I definitely plan on going back! But my true love is Zundouya.

Despite thinking that I should avoid carbs, I ended up visiting this shop. I was torn between the white circle and the red circle, but I ordered the red circle. It was a traditional tonkotsu flavor, safe and simply delicious! Unlike in the past, you have to ask the staff for garlic, spicy mustard greens, red pickled ginger, etc., as they are not automatically provided. Thank you for the meal!

This is Hakata Ippudo Nagahori store‼️ It's past 8 o'clock at night after work‼️ Sometimes you just suddenly crave Ippudo, right⁉️ This time, I felt that way and decided to visit‼️ The Nagahori store is the first Ippudo store in Kansai‼️ This time, I got the new flavor, Ajitama‼️ I also ordered a side of yakimeshi‼️ The rich tonkotsu soup has pork back fat on the surface, black garlic oil floating, and spicy miso in the center‼️ When you mix the garlic oil's fragrance, rich tonkotsu, and spicy miso, it becomes slightly spicy and delicious‼️ The ultra-thin noodles are firm, and they go well with the rich tonkotsu soup‼️ Of course, I also had garlic, which goes well with the tonkotsu soup‼️ The spicy bean sprouts added a nice kick to the dish‼️ The seasoned egg had a perfect flavor, and the crunchy wood ear mushrooms were delicious‼️ The chashu was tender, and the yakimeshi was fluffy‼️ Ippudo's yakimeshi is also delicious‼️ Adding bean sprouts made it slightly spicy and tasty‼️ It was a delicious and popular dish even now‼️

At Ippudo, I had the Miso Shiramaru ramen. It's a creamy tonkotsu soup with miso, ginger, and other spices that make it a perfect bowl to warm up in the winter. Delicious. I added an extra small portion of noodles as a topping and it was very satisfying. It can be tough when many places only offer a whole extra serving of noodles, so I wish more places would offer half portions like this.

"I came to have the Hakata Tonkotsu B set meal (1010 yen) with a half-boiled seasoned egg (+110 yen) today (≧∇≦) I went to the main store of Kusaka Curry, but they were temporarily closed... So I decided to come to Ippudo after a long time♪ I was thinking of getting the special Shiramaru original flavor with an extra serving of noodles, but they had a ramen and rice set meal available~ I opted for a set with half-fried rice and added a seasoned egg topping♪ I was a bit skeptical if the ramen was really Shiramaru, but it probably was... The fried rice was decently delicious? I really enjoyed the Shiramaru soup as always, it was delicious♪ I also like the thin noodles☆彡 I was debating whether to get an extra serving of noodles because it was a bit lacking in volume, but I'll replenish at home instead (^_^;) However, this set meal was quite satisfying ==========="

I tried the "Hakata Tonkotsu Set Meal (B Set Meal)" at "Hakata Ippudo Nagahori Store," and it was quite simple. This Ippudo chain ramen restaurant is located in Minamisenba, Osaka (a short walk from Shinsaibashi Station). The store near Shinsaibashi-suji has table seating on the right, a counter at the mid-left for ordering, and kitchen counter seating at the back, giving off a typical ramen chain store vibe. The customers were mostly male, with a few women here and there. I ordered the set meal menu "Hakata Tonkotsu Set Meal (B Set Meal)" this time. The "Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen" had a flavorful pork bone broth with a light and easy-to-drink soup, paired with thin noodles that you can choose the firmness of, making it refreshing and delicious. The toppings were simple with green onions, chashu, and that's about it. The "Hakata Fried Rice" in the B set meal had fluffy rice and wasn't greasy, making it easy for women to enjoy. At 1010 yen including tax, this seems like a reasonable price for a set meal. They also had other options besides the classic "Shiromaru Motoaji" and "Akamaru Shinaji," as well as limited-time menu items and a variety of side dishes. I came to Ichiran in Minami Senba because I read an article that said due to the weak yen, Ichiran ramen in NY costs 3000 yen without any toppings. I thought if I ate Ichiran ramen in Osaka, I would feel like I got a good deal. I ordered the Special Red Maru with lots of toppings for 1250 yen. It would probably shock people in NY to see this order. The tea is free. When the Red Maru arrived, it looked delicious. It was really tasty! I already liked it, but it tasted even better because it was a good deal. I finished the noodles in no time. I added extra firm noodles as well, and they disappeared quickly too. The pork belly was delicious, and the marinated egg was excellent. I'm not sure if I really got a good deal, but I was able to eat a ramen that costs over 3000 yen for 1400 yen, so I feel satisfied in a way. Human psychology is complex.

I wonder how many years it has been? I went to Ichiran for the first time in a long time. I was in the mood for tonkotsu, so I was debating between Ichiran and Ippudo, and ended up choosing Ichiran. I chose the Tamago White Maru. My friend ordered the extra spicy ramen with extreme spiciness. I wanted to try a bite, but due to the current situation, I had to give up. It was delicious, but it was really tough to finish. I haven't been to Ichiran before, so I wonder if I should challenge myself next time? But when will I feel like having tonkotsu again?

I visited Hakata Ippudo Nagahori store located in a back alley off Shinsaibashi-suji. I ordered the White Maru Original flavor ramen. I customized it with extra pickled mustard greens and garlic to suit my taste, so it ended up not being the original flavor anymore. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

This is Hakata Ippudo Nagahori store! Today we had a family meal. My two daughters had the classic White Maru flavor, while I tried the new Red Maru flavor with egg topping. The egg was served separately. The rich pork bone soup with floating back fat, topped with black garlic oil and spicy miso, created a spicy pork bone ramen. It came with bean sprouts, green onions, and wood ear mushrooms, along with two slices of chashu and a delicious seasoned egg on the side. I also added garlic, pickled ginger, spicy mustard greens, and spicy bean sprouts, all of which enhanced the flavor. Garlic is a must with pork bone soup, and the pickled ginger adds a refreshing touch. We also ordered a small portion of fried rice, which was perfectly fluffy and delicious with added pickled ginger. We thoroughly enjoyed our Hakata Ippudo experience as a family!

This year, I've been eating a lot of ramen. I tried Shiro Maru Genmai for the first time in a while. The soup was tonkotsu-based and had a smooth and comfortable texture that went down easily. The straight noodles mixed well with the soup, allowing me to enjoy both the noodles and the soup together as one. Closing out the meal with this ramen was a great choice.

I tried having a late lunch at a famous restaurant that I had heard about. I had always missed the chance to go there, but since I was passing by, I decided to give it a try. It was Saturday afternoon, or more like early evening, but the place was quite busy with a wait of 7-8 minutes. There were a few families with young children as well. It felt like a substitute for a family restaurant. Now, for my order, I chose the "Akamaru Special" vegetable ramen with firm noodles. It arrived promptly, and I started eating. There were plenty of vegetables in it, which was nice. It felt great that the vegetables seemed endless. I used to crave for more meat in the past, but now I appreciate the abundance of vegetables. The price was around 1,200 yen, which is expected for a place in Shinsaibashi. It might be nice to enjoy a meal here and feel like you're dining out somewhere special.

Actions speak louder than words! Today, I visited two consecutive branches of Ippudo ramen (lol). What a surprise! Even though I used the machine, the points didn't get added due to an error (^◇^;) Since I have never experienced this as a customer who visited two Ippudo branches in one day, I asked them to call the head office for clarification... The path to becoming an Ippudo Premium member is truly challenging. P.S. It seems that points are fine when visiting multiple branches, but if you use the machine within 3 hours, an error may occur. They assured me that they will add the points later. #Striving to become an Ippudo Premium member through the path of a determined man #Almost got a reverse from consecutive Ippudo ramen visits today #Have to contact the head office to resolve the issue of points not being added due to an error

Today (1/11), I visited "Nokou Chuka Soba Yoshida" near Osaka Metro Shinsaibashi Station, but even though I arrived before 12 o'clock, there was a sign saying they were still preparing and it was dark inside when I peeked in. So, feeling disappointed, I was about to leave and head back to the station when suddenly (just kidding), I came across Ichiran, and couldn't resist going in. I sat at the counter separated by dividers reminiscent of Ichiran, and ordered the "Akamaru Shinaji (902 yen!)" which I always order when I come to Ichiran (no ticket machine). After a short wait, the dish arrived and as I started eating, I could taste the unique flavor of Akamaru Shinaji that you can find at any Ichiran, with a consistent taste. While I enjoyed the ramen, I deducted 3 points for the following reasons: 1. The way the female staff member placed the bowl on the counter was very sloppy, almost spilling it! 2. Due to COVID, instead of crushing a whole garlic clove with a Zyliss press, grated garlic was served in a small dish. 3. Most importantly, the price of 902 yen including tax is too high, 850 yen including tax would be more reasonable, in my opinion. Therefore, I rated it 3.2 out of 5.

Yesterday, I was tired from work running late, so I was feeling exhausted. I just wanted to eat something! Oh, I saw Ichiran! I was drawn into the restaurant like a magnet. Wow, it's been a while since I've been to Ichiran. I used to live in Hakata when I was younger, and I used to go to the main store often. I ordered the red circle ramen with a seasoned egg. I also got spicy bean sprouts and pickled mustard greens. It's been a while since I had tonkotsu ramen! It still has that faint wild aroma, haha. I sipped the soup and thought, was it always this sweet? Oh well, it's fine, there's spicy miso. I had the straight noodles with the pickled mustard greens and bean sprouts. I was satisfied with the noodles and toppings, and my stomach was full. It's nice to have tonkotsu ramen once in a while. Lately, I've been eating a lot of seafood-based ramen. Maybe I'll try Ichiran next time. Thanks for the meal!

To the stable Ippudo. It had been a few years since I last visited Ippudo, but one amazing thing about Ippudo is that you don't really feel much difference between their different locations. The taste I had in Umeda can also be found in Minami. It's great that garlic is complimentary. The only disappointing point is that the chashu is made from pork leg, but everything else is excellent.

Lunchtime was over, but the advantage of a major chain is that you can still go at such times! I went to Ichiran for the first time in a while. I usually get the red spicy ramen, but this time I went for the extra spicy noodles. I see, it's a pork bone ramen with a spicy red soup base! The meat was ground meat, and the noodles were slightly thicker than usual. In the end, I should have just stuck with the regular order...

It is located about 1-2 minutes north of Shinsaibashi Station Exit 1. Inside the shop, there are 9 counter seats, 2 two-person table seats, 2 four-person table seats, and 1 six-person table seat. I had the Shiramaru Original Flavor with Kikurage topping and the shop's exclusive Karakameshi. Soon after, the ramen and rice were brought to me. The Shiramaru Original Flavor includes chashu, kikurage, moyashi, and negi. The noodles are very thin and firm. The soup is tonkotsu, allowing you to taste the authentic flavor. The noodles smoothly go into the soup. The taste of the chashu, crunchy kikurage, crispy moyashi, and negi enhance the flavor. I added extra noodles and enjoyed them with the soup. The Karakameshi has ramen meat miso, onsen tamago, and negi on rice. Mix it and enjoy it. The spicy meat miso and the creamy onsen tamago go well with the tonkotsu. I would like to try the Akamaru New Flavor next time. Thank you for the meal.
