The café run by a bakery that specializes in shokupan (Japanese white bread). I feel like the bread used to be tastier in the past, but now it's a bit hard to eat. It's convenient to enjoy mentaiko (spicy cod roe) here, so it's a good idea to stop by for a mentaiko shokupan before heading to the airport from the station, or when taking the Shinkansen from Hakata Station. The salad and drinks are delicious.

The menu mentioned cream cheese, but I couldn't really taste it! I'm not sure if it's my taste buds or if there really was just a tiny bit of cream cheese. Also, the mentaiko wasn't spicy enough! I wish it had more kick. The portion was equivalent to about 4 slices of sandwich bread. It might be good for a light meal, but maybe a bit small for lunch. The bread was delicious, as expected from Mutsukado. It was tasty, but for 693 yen, it felt a bit overpriced. The atmosphere wasn't particularly cozy compared to other cafes nearby, so I might not visit again.

This time, I only had an iced coffee, but I plan to order toast next time. The iced coffee was delicious, although it didn't have any special features. The price was 594 yen.

They use safe and reliable ingredients without any preservatives to make their bread. They use wheat from Fukuoka Prefecture. The bread is not as sweet as typical high-end bread, with just a hint of sweetness. It has a smooth texture, moist but not overly so, with a fluffy texture. They sell various types of bread, including square loaves, sandwiches, and croque monsieur. I want to try eating in next time.

I ordered the Fukuoka Amaou strawberry sandwich for 880 yen, and added a salad & drink set for 550 yen. The seasonal Amaou strawberry sandwich is delicious. It's filled with custard cream, strawberry jam, and a big Amaou strawberry, with lots of diced strawberries inside. The cream is also very tasty. The bread is fluffy. This time, I chose the Tropical Cassis Soda for my drink. I think carbonated drinks are perfect for summer or hot days. I want to try all the menu items. I still have a long way to go to conquer them all, so I want to keep coming back.

I had mentaiko toast! The bread was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It wasn't too moist and chewy. It was delicious, but not exactly my favorite. The mentaiko paste was okay. I chose this because I came to Hakata, but there's a high chance that other options might be tastier. I want to try the Quattro Formaggi one next time. My friend ordered the an butter toast and it was really delicious! The latte had a picture of bread on it!! So cute. The atmosphere is nice, and it's a relaxing place with good access from the station. It's popular for a reason.

I sat at the counter seat, which had a great view and power outlets available, so I could charge my devices. The staff were friendly and matched the atmosphere of the restaurant. The bread was soft and delicious. I would love to sit at the sofa seat next time. ❤️❤️

Many regular customers still visit the shop aiming for the freshly baked bread. The spacious interior with about 80 seats attracts mainly female customers. Today, I was lucky enough to find a seat without waiting in line, so I decided to visit the cafe without hesitation. Among the attractive bread menu items such as French toast, salted red bean butter toast, spicy cod roe toast, ham & cheese lettuce sandwich, and egg sandwich, I chose the "Bacon and Onion Croque Monsieur". When I cut it in half, I found that the two slices of bread were filled with bechamel sauce and small bacon cubes. The bread, sliced to about 6 pieces thick, had a fine texture, was moist, soft, and delicious with the richness of the bechamel sauce and the bacon's salty flavor as an accent.

I visited "Pan-ya Mutsukado Cafe" after a long time. I had the Fruit Mix Sandwich Set with a Cafe Latte. The bread was thick and fluffy, with distinct flavors of fruit, cream, and bread. Despite not being too sweet, the creamy cream was delicious. I love the latte art here, so I ordered a Cafe Latte again. It's so cute. I noticed a few individual Korean tourists, so it seems to be popular among Korean visitors as well.
