I had a bit of trouble getting through when making a reservation, but I realized that they don't often answer the phone to maintain the ambiance of the place, which is why it was hard to get through. So, if you're planning to make a reservation, be patient and keep trying! It's definitely worth it. As for the food, I was impressed from the start with the soup (this time it was a cold soup with tomato and watermelon). The chicken breast was moist, and even though the salad was the main dish, I left feeling satisfied and had a great time! However, most of the customers around me were women, so it might be a bit awkward for a lone male customer. But regardless, I highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you for the wonderful meal!!

It seems good for the body. It also came with focaccia, but I was a little concerned about getting my hands dirty with butter. However, I was able to eat a lot of vegetables, so it was good. If I ever lack vitamins, I will come here.

I finally visited a restaurant that I have been wanting to go to for a long time. I made a reservation 8 days in advance by phone and got a table with a view of the garden. The restaurant has 9 tables and is mostly frequented by pairs of women. I ordered the Salad Lunch set, which came with dessert, a drink, and soup for 2500 yen (cash only). The meal included Gazpacho with vegetables like beets, zucchini, and tomatoes, a salad with prosciutto, melon, eggplant, turnips, carrots, cucumbers, onions, zucchini, small red turnips, and potatoes. The sweetness of the melon complemented the light saltiness well. The warm focaccia was soft and chewy, and the Cassata dessert had a rich milky flavor. I also enjoyed a grape juice that wasn't overly sweet. Unfortunately, I couldn't take photos of the interior of the restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely it was. The exterior of the shop was lovely, with lots of flowers inside as well. I visited on a weekend and had to wait due to its popularity. I ordered the strawberry shortcake, but I found the price to be a bit high for the taste. I wondered if the price included the atmosphere of the shop. Also, if you don't go early, they might run out of cake batter. There was a limit of one sponge cake per two people.

By 12 o'clock, the place was fully booked with reserved guests, so reservations are a must. They even put flowers in the water they serve, which is a nice touch. I added today's soup to my order, which was a delicious new potato potage. The salad set with prosciutto and melon was beautifully presented and tasted great. The homemade focaccia bread was also delicious. The cassata dessert with yogurt was refreshing and not too sweet. The cold brew coffee, which is roasted in-house, was flavorful and delicious. The lunch may be a bit pricey, but considering the atmosphere and quality of the food, it's understandable why it's so popular and hard to get a reservation. It's a great place to spend a leisurely time.

I took a bus from Tenjin and got off at Akasaka-Nichome. I had made a lunch reservation at Papparai Rai the day before, but they required arrival by around noon, so I decided to visit without a reservation. I was smoothly guided to a window seat with a great view. I ordered the Salad Lunch (with prosciutto) with soup for ¥2,500, which also included a drink and dessert. First, I was served a pumpkin and apple soup. The salad was colorful and each type of vegetable was cooked to bring out its unique flavor. It was really beautiful, and just looking at it made me feel very happy. The dessert was like a cream cheese ice cream with a hint of banana and milk flavor. It was very delicious. The drink was a rich grape juice! The renovated old house had a nostalgic feel and you could feel the warmth of the wood. I was able to enjoy a wonderful time while gazing at the autumn leaves in the garden from the window.

I was so shocked by how delicious the steamed chicken was. It's a favorite spot for trendy girls. It's a bit far from the bustling area, but the stylish interior and delicious food make it worth it. However, it's hard to make a reservation. No photos allowed inside the restaurant.

It was located near Akasaka Elementary School and Kegon Middle School, in a place where you wouldn't expect to find an old traditional house. Unfortunately, the seats were all full. Since the wait didn't seem too long, I decided to wait. The second floor had a waiting area with sofas. Soon enough, a seat became available and I was seated. I ordered a citrus-based hot drink. In a relaxed atmosphere where time seemed to flow differently, I enjoyed my hot drink. It was a soothing experience. I would like to visit again for lunch next time. I found it disappointing that there were many menu items using ice cream and fresh fruits in the middle of winter, as they seemed likely to make the body cold. The coffee jelly parfait came with sliced oranges and a mountain of rum raisin ice cream, which was delicious but still made me feel cold. I was also surprised by how little milk was served with the coffee. It was definitely not enough for two people. Given the cozy atmosphere of the old Japanese building, I wish there were warmer menu options available. The first thing served, the water, was very stylish but turned out to be just plain water. I would have preferred sparkling water or herb-infused water. It was a cold day, so I couldn't bring myself to drink the cold water right away. Overall, this cafe may be more suitable for those who prioritize style over substance. I had been curious about this place from the outside, and I was satisfied after finally visiting.
