I visited the Chinese restaurant "Koren" near Keihan Senri Station for lunch. I ordered the cold tantanmen, which is similar to cold noodles. They also offer a set for just 1,000 yen, which includes dumplings, a daily special dish, and beer. The food wasn't too heavy on the Chinese flavors, which was a pleasant surprise. We ended up ordering more dumplings because they were so tasty. The fried rice had a nice texture, though it could have been a bit more flavorful. Overall, we were very satisfied. I would love to try their lunch menu as well, especially the hot and sour soup noodles and fried noodles set. As a big fan of Chinese cuisine, I hope to have more restaurants like this nearby. Although it opens at 11:30, we arrived a bit early and were asked to wait inside by the staff. We were the first to enter, but soon other customers started coming in. I ordered the Yurinchi Set Meal (850 yen, excluding tax). The staff, a friendly and efficient woman, was very helpful. My father-in-law kept chatting with her. After about 15 minutes, the Yurinchi Set Meal arrived. It was quite a generous portion! Just the way I like it! It came with spring rolls, yakisoba, meatballs, soup, and pickled vegetables. The Yurinchi was refreshing and easy to eat, with cuts made to help the flavors soak in. The curry-flavored spring rolls were a nice touch and went well with the rice. Today, my family and I visited a Chinese restaurant located in a narrow alley just off the central entrance of the Chibayashi Station Ajino Shopping Street in Senbayashi Shopping Street. We arrived after 12:00 pm and found the place relatively quiet with three groups of customers already seated and one group arriving after us. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with a kitchen on the right, a counter with eight seats in front, and four four-person table seats on the left. The menu offered a variety of dishes from a la carte to set meals, all at affordable prices. I ordered the limited-time New Year's menu "Mapo Tofu and Yurinchi Set Meal," while my family ordered the "Seafood Ankake Yakisoba" as they were out of plate udon. The seafood ankake yakisoba had a mild salt-based flavor with crispy noodles on top, complemented by a thick sauce that coated the ingredients well. The mapo tofu had a dark appearance but tasted mild and suitable for all palates, although lacking in authentic spiciness and numbing sensation. The Yurinchi was juicy and tender, although a bit more crispiness on the outside would have been perfect. We also enjoyed the egg soup and Q-chan side dish, and despite the generous portion of rice, we left satisfied without needing a refill. The location was a bit dim and accessible only by bicycle or on foot, but it seemed to be functioning well as part of the Senbayashi Shopping Street. Overall, the service was good, and we had a pleasant dining experience. Wheelchair accessibility is available, there is a washlet in the back, and parking is not provided but there is a coin parking nearby.

If you take a small road from Senrin Station, there's a place that doesn't use chemical seasonings. Fans of Oishinbo would be thrilled. The shrimp wonton ramen and fried rice set are light and tasty. Especially the soup is light. They don't use chemical seasonings, which is good, but I wish it had a bit more flavor. The fried rice is also light, but it's good. It seems like it would go well with dishes with stronger flavors like sweet and sour pork, General Tso's chicken, or shrimp with mayonnaise. I want to eat it with those dishes.
