After a long time, I had some ramen at a family-owned ramen shop in Namba. The shop I wanted to visit has been closed quite often recently, so I was really in the mood for ramen. This shop is known for its family-style ramen, and I decided to go with the basic soy sauce flavor this time. It's a classic choice and never disappoints. They also offer miso and black pepper flavors, but I wanted to stick with the original. The best part is that they offer free rice, so I made a seaweed rice ball to enjoy till the end.

I stopped by during my work break for the first time in a while and luckily it was Service Day on the 22nd, so I was able to get in without any wait during lunchtime. They had soy sauce, salt, miso, and black pepper to choose from, and today I chose miso with spinach topping, along with free rice. The staff actively offered me a discount coupon as well. I will definitely be coming back again.

Located near the electronics district in Namba, around Otaku Road, this ramen shop has been serving traditional style ramen for a relatively long time in Minami. The prices are quite affordable, and they offer all-you-can-eat rice during lunchtime on weekdays. This time, I tried the miso style ramen for the first time. To be honest, house style ramen tastes similar wherever you go, but the miso style ramen here left a strong impression. Adding grated garlic made it even more delicious. The only thing I found a bit too much was the friendly service from the older lady, but other than that, everything was great. I would like to come back again.

Soul Heart Ramen is a nationwide ramen chain with about 60 stores across the country, known for its strong presence. The restaurant has a counter with 14 seats and one table. Customers can order at the ticket machine near the entrance, choosing options like Spicy Meat Ramen for 880 yen, adding extra noodles for 100 yen, and a large rice for 100 yen. When handing over the ticket, customers can select the base flavor of the soup (soy sauce, salt, miso, black pepper), as well as the intensity of the flavor, the firmness of the noodles, and the amount of oil. The default taste for this chain is strong, so those who prefer a milder taste should choose a lighter option. The noodles are medium thickness, and the soup is a thick, rich pork bone broth. The toppings include chashu, spinach, quail eggs, seaweed, and spicy miso. Ramen rice is a popular choice at this chain, where customers can dip seaweed in the soup and wrap it around the rice, or mix the leftover soup with rice to make a delicious porridge. As a fan of rich flavors, this is a restaurant I frequent often.

[Situation] I'm not really good at solo ramen activities, but many people around me like it, so I occasionally go to eat with a fickle spirit. So, on this day, I was moved by my spirit and decided to visit after a long time. The lunch peak was over, but customers kept coming in one after another. It's amazing. They offer free rice refills for lunch, so as long as this soup exists, it becomes an endless loop. It's dangerous. I want to put a lot of garlic in it, but I have to restrain myself because I have plans for the evening. I will come back when I remember it again. Thank you for the meal♪

On the 22nd of every month, ramen is only 550 yen!!! And from 11:00-18:00, rice is even free⭐︎ I heard this rumor and decided to go for lunch~♪ When I arrived at the restaurant... it was mostly men, which was a bit intimidating, but I was hungry so I mustered up the courage to go in ( ̄▽ ̄) It was my first time trying Yokohama-style ramen, so I was really excited! The soup base was pork bone, but you could choose from soy sauce, miso, salt, or black pepper miso. I went with the soy sauce flavor. I was surprised by the toppings... chashu, spinach, quail egg, and 3 sheets of seaweed(´⊙ω⊙`) The noodles were chewy and had a unique shape, kind of like flat, thick, short strands with a strong elasticity, making it hard to slurp? (It was quite unique!) The soup was rich and packed with flavor from the first sip! But surprisingly, I really liked the taste (*´꒳`*) The recommended way to eat the rice was unbelievably delicious and surprising! "Soak the seaweed in the soup, wrap the rice in it, and sprinkle with pepper." This was an endless rice-eating experience~♡ (And you can add as much rice as you want from the rice cooker!) Additionally, from 14:00-18:00, you can even get a free extra serving of noodles, so it was packed with customers from 14:00 onwards!

Soul Heart Home Day. The prices have gone up without me realizing it. The sale ramen that used to be 500 yen is now 550 yen. I ordered the free large serving of limited-time pork bone miso ramen, with firm noodles and normal fat level (you cannot specify extra rich miso). The saltiness is just right, and the soup is well-emulsified and milder than usual. This is also good. The noodles in this style are thick and short. While I like elements such as the soup pairing well with rice or the nori seaweed, I sometimes find that the famous local shops in the area are too salty for my taste, and the ramen in this style may not always suit me. However, the miso here is based on white miso, and the mellow saltiness from the white miso helps to balance the flavors, which I appreciate. So, even though I tend to drift away during the summer when miso is not available, I think I will come back again.

I visited around 7:30 PM on a Saturday night. There was no wait and I got a seat right away, but the restaurant was quite busy. I ordered the Shio Ramen with extra noodles. The taste was okay, nothing special. I was recommended to try something other than Shio, but I chose it anyway. It would have been nice if the staff were a bit more polite and gave me an apron.

I arrived after 2 pm this time and tried the Shoyu Ramen lunch set at Konshin Ramen. The noodles were served in a large portion and the rice was all-you-can-eat for free. They are known for their smooth and mellow flavor, but personally, I wish it had a bit more punch to it.

I felt like eating ramen with tonkotsu shoyu broth, medium curly noodles, and a lighter flavor than it looks. I asked a knowledgeable cafe worker about the ramen scene around here, and ended up at Otaroad without hesitation. Although I'm not a fan of tonkotsu ramen, I've had it a few times in my life. When I think of tonkotsu ramen, I imagine thick straight noodles and a rich broth. It goes well with rice. That's the kind of ramen I expected. But wait, was it always this light? Maybe it's a Kansai-style ramen? I'm not sure, but I got to eat a ramen that exceeded my expectations. If only it had medium curly noodles, it would have been perfect!

On the 22nd, it's "Soul Shinka Day" at Ramen Kokoroya, where ramen is only 500 yen. This time, I tried the Black Pepper Miso flavor, which I had never had before. It seems like they have two types of miso here. The miso here is quite dark in color. The taste is quite peppery and spicy. You can choose between the mild Tonkotsu Miso and the spicy Black Pepper Miso depending on your mood, which is nice! #Yokohama-styleRamenKokoroya #Kokoroya #Ramen #BlackPepperMiso #SoulShinkaDay #NambaGourmet #Ramen #Noodles #RamenLover #OsakaRamen #NambaLunch #OneCoinLunch

This shop always seems to have a line, even though it's not really a popular spot in Tokyo, it seems to be popular in Kansai. I stopped by for lunch and was able to get in right away. I had the black pepper miso ramen, which I haven't had in a while. They offer free extra-large servings and unlimited white rice during lunchtime, which seems to be popular among young people. Lately, they seem to be running low on chicken oil, so you can't order extra oil, but I think the regular amount is usually enough at most places. Since miso ramen can get too strong in flavor, I think I'll go for a lighter flavor next time.

On the 22nd, it's "Tamashinkya Day" at Ramen Tamashinkya, where you can get a bowl of ramen for just one coin. This time, I tried their new Tonkotsu Miso flavor, which is surprising for a house-style ramen. But it was delicious! And all for just 500 yen, what a great deal. #YokohamaHouseStyleRamenTamashinkya #Tamashinkya #HouseStyleRamen #TonkotsuMiso #TamashinkyaDay #NambaGourmet #Ramen #Noodles #RamenLover #OsakaRamen #NambaLunch #OneCoinLunch

I wanted to try a ramen place I had never been to before, so I decided to explore and stumbled upon this place. The prices were reasonable, the portion size was just right for a meal. The gyoza was a perfect size with 5 pieces. Everything was delicious. - Shinkokoro Ramen \870 - Gyoza \300 - Draft Beer \390

I'm not a big fan of tonkotsu ramen because I find it too salty, but when my friends suggested going to a ramen shop, I decided to go along. I ordered the "Ajitama Ramen" based on my intuition. I handed my food ticket to the staff and when asked about the flavor (soy sauce, salt, or miso), I went with their recommendation of soy sauce. I also specified that I wanted the noodles firm and the rest normal. The ramen arrived with thick, medium noodles in a viscous tonkotsu broth with a strong saltiness rather than soy sauce flavor. The toppings included chashu, quail egg, spinach, nori, and an additional seasoned egg. Even though tonkotsu ramen is not my favorite, I can still enjoy the noodles. The restaurant also offers a fun service where you receive a special certificate if you finish your bowl completely. Overall, it's a good ramen chain for those who enjoy this style. Thank you for the meal!

On the 22nd, it seems like you can eat ramen for 500 yen. So I came to try the house-style ramen. I added a seasoned egg topping and it felt like déjà vu. There's a quail egg on the side... I didn't need the egg... In May, which marks the end of miso season, I visited the shop on the day of the "Konkokyo" festival. Instead of the usual miso, I tried the black pepper miso with a vegetable topping (bean sprouts and cabbage) and opted for free extra noodles with firm texture. You cannot specify the richness of the miso. Additionally, there is no longer an option to request extra fat for salt or soy sauce, so I ordered them as usual. The black pepper flavor was too spicy for me the first time, but this time, when combined with the Jiro-style vegetable topping (the regular miso with vegetable topping felt watery due to the vegetables' moisture), the spiciness was reduced as expected. While it didn't become addictive, it suited me better than the regular miso. I felt that the regular black pepper flavor didn't match the soup, but this time it felt more like a side dish for rice. The noodles were dyed black, but the taste of the noodles themselves was not affected by the spiciness. The seared chashu was fragrant and a hit that day. I felt that there was less cabbage and bean sprouts compared to when I last ordered toppings. The spinach was plentiful and satisfying. Since I have not found salt or soy sauce to be a good match so far, I will refrain from ordering them until the autumn when miso is back in season.

A typical capital-based ramen from a family lineage. The soup is too white and tastes like artificial pork bone, with no soy sauce flavor or umami. It's not bad, but it's not delicious either. It just didn't suit my taste at all. In the end, it's the customers who determine whether the taste is good or bad, so maybe it's foolish to stick to lineage. Still, I feel a sense of discomfort with the fact that this style is gaining acceptance as "family ramen".

I visited the restaurant after watching a YouTuber's video. Although the lunch all-you-can-eat rice refill was famous, I couldn't eat that much and had to come for dinner instead. Even so, I waited for about 10 minutes as I arrived during dinner time. The restaurant had around 10 counter seats and 2 table seats. On the table, there were chopped garlic, spices, vinegar, etc. I had the Ajitama Ramen for ¥830. When ordering, they asked about the firmness of the noodles and the amount of oil. As I am still a beginner in the world of ramen, I ordered mine with firm noodles and regular oil. The soup was rich and thick, with just the right amount of flavor. The special "medium-thick noodles" from Kondouya were delicious and well-cooked.
