The restaurant I'm introducing today is "Yakitori Daimyo Hete" in Tenjin, Daimyo. It's not on the main street, but rather in a quieter area, even on Saturdays. Let's see what this place has to offer. It's about a 10-minute walk from Tenjin if you don't get lost! Look for the large "ま" monument. Inside, there are about 30 seats, and it's quite cozy. Around 7 pm, it quickly became full, showing that it's quite a popular spot. We started with the chicken sashimi assortment, which includes liver, breast, and gizzard. They use a premium brand of chicken called "Longzhou Akadori." According to the staff, this is the only place in Fukuoka that serves it. The skewers include chicken skin, bonjiri, and other classics. The recommended ones were the thick-cut pork belly and the handmade tsukune meatballs, both juicy and delicious. Of course, beer is a must, but they also have shochu and wine for those who prefer other drinks. I recommend making this your main stop for a hearty meal rather than a second stop. A friend living in Fukuoka chose this restaurant for me. It was a popular spot among women, including for girls' night out. We started with potato salad and sesame mackerel. The sesame mackerel had just the right punch to make you crave alcohol. Every skewer was truly delicious. The first skewer of chicken breast was juicier than expected, with a nice sear and juices locked in. The meat was so tasty that plum paste and nori were unnecessary. The thigh meat was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside with each bite. The salt seasoning was perfect, bringing out the sweetness of the fat. The negima (chicken and leek skewer) and tsukune (chicken meatball) were also delicious. There was a wide variety of drinks to enjoy according to personal preference. The staff paid attention to the customers' needs and were very considerate. They were lively and had great hospitality. The restaurant was clean with a pleasant buzz. It was a trip for ramen in Hakata, but I was extremely satisfied with the delicious yakitori.笑笑

I was very happy to be able to eat yakitori at Hete-san, which is quite popular in Fukuoka. It was delicious as expected and I was very satisfied. What I especially liked was the horse sashimi (sorry, not yakitori haha), I was surprised to be able to eat such high-quality horse sashimi at an izakaya.

Second branch of Daimyo Hete. The inside of the restaurant is bustling with young men and women, indicating its popularity. Although the yakitori is not cheap, each skewer has a great taste and reflects the restaurant's commitment to quality. I went with a friend from Fukuoka who now lives in Tokyo, but they seemed unfamiliar with Daruma, so I recommended it to them. It seems like Kurume is trying to revitalize the town with yakitori, which appears to be their signature dish. We ordered the Toriwasabi, which had a refreshing taste and texture. It goes well with soy sauce. I highly recommend trying the Gomosaba marinated in the restaurant's special sauce. We had skewers of pork belly, negima, chicken skin, Daruma, chicken heart, shiitake mushroom, and myoga. It was a delicious meal.

I visited during a typhoon and by around 7pm, the restaurant was almost full. In addition to the classic skewers, they also offer rare cuts and limited quantities, so there is a wide variety of choices. They didn't have sesame mackerel, so they served yellowtail instead. The staff's service and consideration were excellent, and I understood why the restaurant was full even in bad weather. A must-visit restaurant!

Fukuoka yakitori, overall, was delicious. We finally got a reservation around 9:30 pm on a Sunday night. It's one of the three popular locations. Some items were sold out, but we ordered mostly pork and seseri skewers (I can't remember the rest, haha). We enjoyed two bottles of wine with three people, which were brought from a sister store on the second floor! It was delicious! Surprisingly authentic yakitori restaurant, Honkaku Yakitori Daimyo, located in Nidaimyo. The restaurant doesn't have the typical old-fashioned yakitori vibe, and it seems popular among young people. They seem to have a strong commitment to their yakitori. I tried the usual skewers like chicken thigh, liver, skin, heart, and tomato wrap, as well as some potato salad skewers. I don't remember much about the drinking session, but I'm sure the food was delicious. The yakitori was cut into easy-to-eat pieces and tasted great. Most of the seating is at tables, and I didn't see any private rooms. I would like to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal!

First time trying "anago sashimi" and "gomazaba" and they were both amazing! After landing at Fukuoka Airport around 9:00 PM, I checked into my hotel, dropped off my luggage, and headed to the restaurant I had booked, "Honkaku Yakitori Daimyo Hete Ni." The grilled anago sashimi was especially delicious, with a perfect sear. My favorite gomazaba was sold out, but they brought it from another store for me! How many times did I say it was delicious? The yakitori skewers, Fukuoka sake, and abisori skewers (first time trying and delicious!) were all fantastic. I enjoyed the refreshing summer sake "Ikegane" and the dry "Yamanosuke." The restaurant had a lively atmosphere, and the staff were great too! Even the dishes were nice. The restaurant was lively with a full house of customers. It seems there are three branches, but they are still growing. The staff were all efficient and well-trained. We opted for the 5000 yen all-you-can-drink course. The dishes were meticulously prepared, from the appetizers to the main courses. The sesame mackerel was fresh, and the horse sashimi was thickly sliced. The yakitori was beautifully grilled. Among Fukuoka's favorite dishes like pork belly, sesame mackerel, and burdock tempura udon, we enjoyed two of them.

It seems to be a popular restaurant with a big name, with three locations. When I entered the restaurant along the road, it turned out that the actual entrance was towards the back. The inside of the restaurant was full of customers and lively. The interior was bright and clean, and most of the customers seemed to be young. In Fukuoka, people of all ages and genders love yakitori. I ordered a la carte and enjoyed my favorite items. It's not a traditional yakitori restaurant, but the menu and taste are authentic. As it is a popular restaurant, you can't go wrong with the taste. In Fukuoka's yakitori restaurants, cabbage usually comes with the dish, but it's usually served with sauce. It was the first time I saw it served pickled in vinegar. It's a shame that recent yakitori restaurants in the Tenjin area don't have bottles of shochu. They must have a lot of customers without needing to attract them with bottles. The last order is in 2 hours. The old men of the Showa era love to drink shochu from a bottle while snacking on yakitori and chatting away.笑.

It was delicious!! The cream cheese tofu appetizer was so creamy and delicious! And the grilled chicken skewers with intestines were simple but incredibly tasty that I ended up ordering it twice! Definitely go on a weekday if you can! I will be going back again! It was so delicious!

Today, I had a drinking session with a colleague who came on a business trip from Tokyo. We wanted to drink a lot of beer, so we made a reservation for an all-you-can-drink plan in advance. It's not easy to find a place that accepts reservations for just two people for all-you-can-drink. This restaurant offers a 5,000 yen all-you-can-drink plan with 9 dishes included. The price seems reasonable for nowadays, although it used to be cheaper in the past. The place was really crowded! Almost 90% of the seats were taken, and it felt lively to be in a bustling drinking establishment after a long time. I initially wanted to start with draft beer, but when I checked the all-you-can-drink menu, it turned out that bottled beer was included. We both paid an extra 200 yen to make draft beer also included. (I wish draft beer was included from the start.) The dishes included salad, sesame mackerel, horse sashimi, and then four skewers. Lastly, we were served a small miso soup and rice. Honestly, for a drinker like me, the final rice was unnecessary. However, the staff was friendly, and it was clear why this place is so popular.

I wonder how long it's been since I last visited Hetasan on a whim. It seems I hadn't posted about it before. We were lucky because they were able to accommodate us even though we didn't have a reservation. The food and drinks were ordered separately, and they were delicious as always. I didn't manage to take photos of everything, but I couldn't help but keep eating. I ended up eating and drinking too much. The staff were all friendly, and even though we only stayed for 2 hours, we had a pleasant and enjoyable time. However, it's a shame that none of the Hetasan locations have private rooms. It would be more convenient if they did. Despite that, I will definitely visit again soon! Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant without a reservation right after it opened. I ordered the chef's selection of 10 skewers and a beer. The yakitori here is on a whole different level compared to local places. It was surprisingly delicious. The yakitori from Kyushu is just too good. Honestly, everything was delicious. I would love to make this yakitori restaurant a main stop next time I visit Hakata.

I went on a business trip to Fukuoka and made a reservation in advance for 4 people on a Friday evening at 6:00 pm. We arrived about 15 minutes early and were seated at a table in the back. We ordered the course meal with all-you-can-drink plan. We asked to start when everyone was present. One person was running late and arrived 15 minutes later. They had already started without him, but they made sure to save some for him. We started with a toast with beer and then switched to our preferred drinks. I had sweet potato shochu with soda. The food was as shown in the photos. The skewers were seasoned just right and went well with the drinks. The portion sizes were satisfying. It was a delicious meal.

I went there for the first time. There is a sister store nearby, and I accidentally went in there, but they told me that the reservation is at the back. I went around 6 pm, and there were still some empty seats at that time. But it quickly became full. It's better to make a reservation before going. The staff were all very friendly and nice! We ordered a variety of dishes including yakitori, sesame mackerel, cheese tofu, potato salad, and meat miso with green peppers. We also had 5 drinks for 2 people, totaling around 10,000 yen. A delicious yakitori restaurant in the Tenjin area. The beer served here is very tasty. While the yakitori is recommended, as an out-of-town guest, ordering a platter of horse sashimi, sesame mackerel, and conger eel allows you to fully enjoy the flavors of Fukuoka! Fukuoka's sesame mackerel is really delicious!
