The hotel is conveniently located near the downtown area and offers early morning shuttle service to the airport, which was very helpful for the Shadai Sunday Tour meeting at New Chitose Airport at 7:30. Tonight, I stayed at Chitose Daiichi Hotel. I have stayed here before and the breakfast was good. This time, I stayed for only 780 yen thanks to the national travel support program, which covered 6780 yen with a 6000 yen coupon. Even though I booked a twin room with free accommodation for children under elementary school age, I was upgraded to a triple room. Lucky me! My Japanese meal comes in a two-tier bento box with various side dishes. It's so luxurious, isn't it? The kids' meal includes curry and hamburger. I wonder if any child can finish all of this from the morning!?

I stayed at a hotel and found a local-style izakaya on the first floor, so I decided to go in. I signed up for the 980 yen all-you-can-drink option and ordered a cold sake from Fukushi and smoked oysters for 680 yen. The oysters were large and had a smoky, thick texture, which I enjoyed while trying various drinks. The Yubari melon sour had a nice melon flavor and was delicious. I also appreciated the 10% discount for hotel guests.

I stayed overnight and had breakfast included. You can choose between Japanese and Western breakfast. I opted for the Japanese breakfast with white rice. It came in a two-tiered bento box with various side dishes like natto and high-quality eggs. The staff served the rice for me, although I would have preferred to do it myself. The variety of side dishes was great, and the taste was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by the scallop sashimi. Overall, it was a great experience! 2022/6JR Chitose Trip(๑´∀`) Stayed at Chitose Daiichi Hotel with a great deal on breakfast-only single plan. The dining venue is an izakaya attached to the hotel. Reservations required by the day before. Choose between Japanese or Western style breakfast for the usual price of 880 yen. Operating hours are from 6:30 am to 9:30 am. The popular "Japanese set meal" includes a hexagonal two-tiered bento box with chicken chili rice and miso soup that you can have seconds of! Various side dishes like natto, eggs, and small plates to accompany your rice. Choices include: [First Tier] Grilled saury, boiled spinach, simmered dish [Second Tier] Cod roe, rolled omelette, scallop sashimi. Although the dishes are pre-made at room temperature, the grilled saury is delicious and the sashimi is not bad(^^)b Excuse me, but... it was better than I expected! Thank you for the meal(^ω^)

I will request breakfast Japanese food, hamburger, ham and eggs from the check-in at Chitose Daiichi Hotel. Small dishes like natto, pickles, raw egg, and hot spring egg are free to enjoy - feel free to have seconds of rice. The breakfast was quite delicious. By using the "Dohmin discount," you get change back for 3,000 yen. Going to Chitose for drinks and staying at the hotel... Let's keep the economy going, even if it's just a little bit! The hotel is old but clean and somehow nostalgic.

The self-service small dishes were all you can eat. The taste was also good.

They welcomed us warmly even though we arrived just before the last order at 23:30 and closing time at 24:00. The Hokkaido sashimi, charcoal-grilled chicken skewers, ikura fried rice, and miso ramen as a finishing touch were all incredibly delicious. It was a miracle to find a place where we could experience Hokkaido vibes as there were no other late-night options nearby. I definitely want to visit again.

Yesterday was a workplace social gathering. This week is packed with events, so it's going to be busy. I joined from the second party. The first party was a bowling tournament, but I was tired so I skipped it and took a nap before arriving. It was still pretty empty when I got there, but slowly people started to arrive and the time was almost filled up. I liked the sunken kotatsu seating! It's easy on the feet and makes me feel like an old man. The sashimi at the beginning was fresh. Next came the tofu in ankake sauce, and from there it was a fast pace. I was already in a daze, losing my sanity. The melon sour was not too sweet, with a subtle drinkability that was surprisingly good. I drank too much and finally got sleepy, so it was time to close and disperse. I had a fun time drinking this time.

After the zeroth meeting at the Chinese restaurant "Chugoku Ryori Karin," we moved to the venue for the first meeting. The location was "Hokkaido Marugoto Dining Umasho! Chitose Store" in Sachi-machi 4-chome, Chitose City. It seems that the restaurant name has been changed from "Gohan Cafe de Umasho Chitose Store." This was my third visit to this place. The lunch menu seems to have been discontinued this time. The course this time included all-you-can-drink for 4,000 yen per person. Turns out, they have a kids' all-you-can-drink option for 580 yen (excluding tax)! The place also charges for otoshi (appetizers) at 380 yen each, and we ended up ordering 5 of them, adding up to over 2000 yen (excluding tax)! The place we went to in Chitose-Eniwa was pricey too, even with the coupon. They had a minimum order requirement of 2 items per person. I really don't like the drinking spots in Chitose! I prefer Sapporo! The prices were high overall, with items like pork skewers for 190 yen each, chicken gizzards for 150 yen each, sweet potato fries for 590 yen, rolled omelette for 480 yen, ramen salad for 650 yen, cartilage fried chicken for 520 yen, salmon and cream cheese spring rolls for 620 yen, and chocolate parfait for 690 yen (all prices excluding tax). The last order is 30 minutes before closing, and they even changed our glasses at that time. I always think, if it's advertised as 120 minutes all-you-can-drink, shouldn't the last order be 90 minutes before closing instead of 30 minutes? The total bill came to 10,519 yen.

A while ago, there was a drinking party in Chitose. The venue for the drinking party was "Gohan Cafe de Umaissho Chitose Store" located in Saimachi, Chitose City. Umaissho opened in April 2018. I had visited for lunch once before. This time, there was a welcome party for a job transfer in November. My workplace is still at New Chitose Airport, but there have been internal transfers, and I am now in a department without night shifts. Instead, there are early and late shifts, with late shifts ending at 9 pm. Here are the dishes we had: appetizers (Eringi mushroom simmered and menma salad), sashimi, horse sashimi, Genghis Khan, daily salad, scallop butter, negitoro sushi roll, and dessert (possibly almond jelly).
