I visited "Chicken Cuisine pao" in Fukushima-ku, Osaka for the first time for a second party. We had grilled chicken skewers, assorted sashimi, grilled harami, croquettes, appetizers, highballs, and chilled sake (including brands such as Jyokigen from Yamagata, Nanbu Bijin from Iwate, Konaki Junmai from Tottori, and Minami from Kochi). The fresh sashimi and delicious grilled dishes were so good that the alcohol went down smoothly.

At first, I felt that the prices for each dish were high, but they all had generous portions and were good value for money. If you go with a large group, it can be quite economical! The tsukune with raw egg yolk, deep-fried daikon, and steamed chicken and cheese salad were all incredibly delicious. As it is a chicken restaurant, we also ordered the rice cooked in a clay pot at the end! It was consistently delicious!

I made a reservation online. It was a weekday night, but they called in advance to let us know the busy hours and asked us to order in advance. Thanks to that, they were able to serve us the dishes smoothly. It was my first time trying such delicious Chicken Nanban, I was so impressed. My friend and I finished it all in no time, and we were already thinking of ordering it again. The potato salad in the photo was also amazing. This is a restaurant that I will want to visit frequently!

A restaurant under the elevated train tracks in Fukushima that serves dim sum and Taiwanese cuisine. The atmosphere makes you feel like you're in Taiwan. The pan-fried soup dumplings had a crispy skin and were juicy and delicious. The mapo tofu was quite spicy, which I liked. The lu rou fan and tantanmen also looked delicious. I want to try them next time.

The restaurant is located on the north side of the railway tracks at JR Fukushima Station on the Osaka Loop Line, within the "Seiten Street Shopping District". Based on what I saw on Tabelog, it seems like the restaurant originally operated at night. Lately, I have been exploring lunch options in the area, and I had my eye on this place. I ordered the "Chicken Nanban Fry Set". It seems to be a signature dish of the restaurant, and it lived up to its reputation. Food & Taste: 3.6 The "Chicken Nanban Fry Set" is essentially chicken nanban, but in this case, it is chicken cutlet. The chicken is thick and juicy, coated in batter and deep-fried. The meat was tender with a nice texture. The tartar sauce was a liquid type with plenty of pickles, onions, and egg whites. It paired very well with the white rice and I didn't get tired of it until the end. The potato salad on the side was also quite good, with a soft texture. It was seasoned with garlic fry powder and a bit of spicy powder. The vegetables were also substantial, making it a healthy option. The rice was cooked firm, suitable for a set meal. I refrained from getting seconds as I had work ahead, but I felt like I could eat it endlessly. I climbed up in Fukushima and walked around the shopping street. I found a cozy looking restaurant and decided to go in. It specializes in chicken dishes, especially yakitori. I was surprised by the variety of shochu they had. In a time when many places are leaning towards sake, I appreciated the selection of shochu. They even had some recommended deals, which was irresistible for a guy like me. The prices for shochu were quite reasonable too. It was great! And they also had a good selection of sake, which was impressive. It seems to be run by two brothers, with one handling the cooking and the other in charge of the drinks. I had never tried chicken namero before, so I decided to order it. They informed us that the chicken namero is raw and should be eaten within 15 minutes, the chicken nanban should be eaten while hot, the clay pot rice is ready to eat, the omelette is hot, and the deep-fried yam is delicious. It was nice to receive such detailed guidance before eating. The recommended dishes are the chicken namero and the clay pot rice. I also heard about their special butter chicken curry, which I must try next time. Before leaving, the manager gave me his business card. The manager was very friendly and youthful. I will definitely come back soon to try the curry.

The tempura of daikon radish was also outstanding. The batter was just right, not too heavy, and the flavor was perfect. The atmosphere in the restaurant was not too noisy, and it was clean. The staff were efficient but also had a friendly smile. This is the kind of place I like! I can't wait to come back for our next round of drinks!

Fukushima second stop. I found a shop with a row of one-cup sake lined up and went in. It's an izakaya that serves mainly chicken dishes. The dishes I had were chicken namero and chicken nanban, both delicious. Since I arrived late, there weren't many raw items available. The namero was so delicious that it went well with the sake. There were many cute designs on the one-cup sake containers. You can also take home the empty cups. The one-cup sake from Tottori had cute illustrations of Kitaro. I chose the spicy Koboreji sake. I couldn't drink much because I used beer as a chaser, but I was happy to find my favorite spicy sake. It was a fresh experience to drink one-cup sake. The food and service were great, I wish this place was in Temma, I would definitely visit. I have more places I want to visit in Fukushima now. Thank you for the meal.

This particular shop is located in a relatively prominent spot on the shopping street, with a glass entrance displaying various types of wine. The entrance is quite impressive, and I've been curious about this place since it opened. So, when my partner and I were deciding where to have dinner, we immediately thought of trying it out. Inside, the shop has a long counter from the entrance, and table seating towards the back. Since there were two of us, we were seated at the counter. The yakitori is grilled right in front of you at the counter. My partner guessed that the shop's layout seemed quite luxurious, so they might have a large parent company behind them. Indeed, the kitchen setup and counter seem to have been quite expensive. However, it doesn't have a chain store vibe. Instead, it feels more like an elegant chicken restaurant. The chicken dishes are a bit more refined and the prices are a bit on the higher side. For example, the grilled chicken skewers were priced at 1200 yen each. They also offer various wines that can be enjoyed in the restaurant for 750 yen. The chicken was delicious, but given that there are many affordable and tasty chicken shops in Fukushima, the prices here felt a bit high for us.
