I remember that this restaurant used to be a soba noodle shop, but now it has become a ramen restaurant. When visiting, it's recommended to use the spacious parking lot at the back of the restaurant. This place is known for its delicious ankake (thick starchy sauce) dishes, so I immediately checked out their ankake menu. I ordered the "Star Ramen" (850 yen) and the "Char-mayo Don" (270 yen). The Star Ramen arrived first, and it had a unique flavor with a hint of yakiniku sauce rather than relying on garlic as the main flavor. It was packed with pork and had a nice touch of garlic chives. The raw egg on top helped balance out the rich flavors. Personally, I felt it could use a bit more garlic. The portion size was generous, living up to its name as a stamina dish. The Char-mayo Don was served in a bowl with chashu, green onions, sesame seeds, and a mix of mayo and sauce. Surprisingly, it was light and not too heavy on the sauce. Next time, I might try their regular ankake dish, the Cantonese noodles.

I arrived at the restaurant before 12:00 PM in March 2023. The place was full with the previous customers, and there were many people waiting. Luckily, we were able to get in without waiting, but those who came after us were told they would have to wait for about 15 minutes. This must be an incredibly delicious place! I have high expectations. This was my first visit. I ordered the special ramen set with small rice and fried rice (salt flavor) with an extra wonton topping. The interior of the restaurant is very cold. The salt ramen was quite salty, and the noodles were thin and tangled well, but it was too salty! The special ramen had a soy sauce flavor, with thin noodles and lots of pork belly. Eating the pork belly that was tangled with the noodles on top of the rice was as expected! However, I wish the pork belly was a bit more tender... it was tough. As I continued eating, the taste became monotonous and I got tired of it. It wasn't to my liking... The fried rice had the classic combination of green onions, ham, and egg. But the moment I tasted it, it felt like I had eaten it somewhere before... The seasoning seemed like the usual Chinese paste you can buy at the store. This was a very ordinary fried rice that you could easily make at home. Everyone at the table ordered fried rice, but this didn't have the unique taste of a restaurant! Even though I have an unrefined palate, this tasted like "familiar" homemade fried rice. Hmm, I would be satisfied with just one visit. It's a mystery why this place is so crowded. It's like one of Kushiro's seven wonders. Maybe my taste buds are off! Still, it remains a mystery!

Cantonese noodles for 900 yen. Thin noodles with soy sauce ramen, topped with ingredients and a light broth. Quite filling. I went to try it out and I think it's pretty good. It seems they recently raised their prices. Understandable with the current high cost of living.

I went during lunchtime and there were two groups already seated. More customers kept coming in and soon the restaurant was full. I ordered the fried rice set, but changed it to crab fried rice. My companion ordered the fried rice set with just regular fried rice. When we compared the portion sizes, the fried rice in the set was indeed smaller. When asked if it was really delicious, my companion said it was not that great. In terms of price, the set menu was similar to other restaurants.

★Hokkaido certified store support coupon available Stamina Don and ramen set. Choose salt flavor for ramen. ●Salt Ramen I forgot that I had it last time I visited and ordered it again. It's so light that even a fan of mild flavors like me doesn't find it delicious. I'll make sure not to order it again... ●Stamina Don A dish with a punch of leeks. The well-seasoned sauce with pork and leeks goes well with the rice. The firmness of the rice is also good. But something seems to be missing... This restaurant is all about Cantonese noodles. What dish can make the servant truly delicious?

This is a report on a restaurant in Hokkaido, "Mendokoro Takemiya" in Kushiro. I visited the restaurant after seeing it featured on a gourmet YouTube channel called "Hokkaido Retired Men's Channel" that focuses on the Kushiro area. I arrived on a Sunday around 5 pm and there were only about 4 customers in the restaurant. The parking lot had space available both next to the restaurant and behind it. The restaurant had transparent partitions for COVID-19 prevention, which was nice as it didn't obstruct the view. For my first visit, I ordered their signature dish, "Star Ramen" for 850 yen, and a small rice for 100 yen. The ramen was inspired by the popular stamina-rich ramen from Suzukoni, and it looked delicious. The dish arrived in about 10 minutes, filled with pork belly, leeks, and a raw egg yolk in the center. It looked incredibly appetizing! I couldn't imagine eating it without rice. The pork belly was tender and flavorful, complementing the slightly thick soup perfectly. The amount of pork belly on top could cover about two small rice bowls. The combination of flavors was amazing, and I thoroughly enjoyed the dish. Breaking the egg yolk and mixing it in with the rice and meat was a delightful experience. I quickly finished the dish and would love to come back for more. Thank you for the delicious meal.

- Salt Ramen (with extra wonton): The soup is light and the wontons are small but filled with a decent amount of filling. The chashu is tender and has a good balance overall, but nothing particularly stands out. It's a ramen that doesn't leave a strong impression.
- Shrimp Fried Rice: The seasoning is light and there seems to be a bit too much oil, but the strong heat gives it a nice crispy aroma. There are two large shrimp and several smaller ones scattered throughout, with a good texture but lacking in shrimp flavor. Overall, it's decently tasty. The fried rice set is quite filling, with portions about the size of a regular single serving. It might be difficult for women to finish both dishes.

I arrived at the restaurant for lunch on Sunday at 12 o'clock and it was quickly filled up. While I was eating, there were people waiting. I ordered a ramen and shrimp fried rice set, thinking the fried rice portion might be small because it's a set, but it was a full serving. The ramen was also a full serving. The set was enough for two people! For those with a big appetite, this set would be very satisfying. The shrimp fried rice had perfectly cooked fluffy rice with a nice flavor. It wasn't greasy like some fried rice can be, it was light and fluffy, just the way I like it. Maybe a little more moistness in the rice would have been nice... adding a bit of water while stir-frying can help steam it and make it more moist and fluffy. But it was delicious. I chose the miso flavor for the ramen and added corn and butter as toppings. The thinly sliced chashu pork was tender and flavorful. The noodles were thin. I remember this ramen shop used to be using Goutou noodles, and before that... it was a bakery called Ichimoriya. The taste was not outstanding but not bad either, it was just tasty. The interior of the restaurant had many customers ordering thickened soup-based ramen, so I might try that next time. Thank you for the meal.

Recommended menu at this restaurant. The piping hot broth with white cabbage as the main ingredient is well mixed with other toppings. The thin curly noodles were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The soy sauce-based soup had a nice richness and suited my taste very well. This is delicious. I would like to try other ramen or fried rice dishes as well.

Visit date: February 28, 2021
For lunch on this day, I visited Goumiya with a friend. We arrived around 14:40. There was one group of customers before us and no customers after us.
We ordered:
- Fried rice set (¥980): I chose miso flavor for an additional ¥50, while my friend chose salt flavor.
- Gyoza (6 pieces, ¥400)
The food was served in about 7 minutes. The miso ramen soup had a hint of sweetness from the miso. It wasn't a heavy soup. The noodles seemed to be egg noodles and were slightly firm. The chashu (pork slices) were tender and delicious with a good balance of fat and lean meat.
The salt ramen had thin noodles that were cooked to a soft texture. The soup had a nice flavor of broth but was a bit salty. The chashu here was really tasty.
The fried rice was on the moist side and quite salty, which took us by surprise. It was a generous portion for a set meal.
The gyoza had a chewy skin and a modest amount of filling. They were decent in taste.
After the meal, we were both quite full and decided to go for tea as we couldn't eat anymore. Thank you for the meal.

This time, I ordered a set of miso ramen and fried rice. It was my first time trying miso ramen. It was delicious, with a tasty soup and tender chashu. I wanted to finish every drop of the soup, but it was a bit salty. The fried rice was slightly moist, but still delicious. I will definitely come back for more. (^。^)

I went to Men-dokoro Tsuyamiya for the first time! It's in Musa, Kushiro. It feels like quite a drive to get here. The restaurant is quite busy. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen for 650 yen after looking at the menu. Many people seem to be ordering the fried rice. It arrived in about 10 minutes. The noodles are thin and curly, a typical Kushiro style. Let's dig in. The soup is light with not much bonito flavor, slightly salty as they mentioned they make it strong. They also provide extra soup. The noodles are soft and easy to slurp. The fishermen in the old days must have eaten quickly. Yes, it's Kushiro Ramen. Next time, I'll try the fried rice. Thank you for the meal!

Ordered the soy sauce fried rice set (980 yen) and it arrived in less than 10 minutes. Started with the soup from the soy sauce ramen... simple and delicious. The noodles were thin Hakodate ramen noodles. This kind of simple flavor tastes even better as you get older. The toppings were green onions, bamboo shoots, and chashu, also very simple. The chashu was so tender it fell apart easily when picked up with chopsticks. A taste that doesn't get old. The fried rice was slightly moist. The seasoning balance was good. And despite being a set menu, the portion was surprisingly large! It felt like the amount you would get if you just ordered fried rice. I finished it, but I am stuffed! If I had to nitpick, I would prefer the fried rice to be a bit more separated. But this place is a definite repeat. I want to try all the menu items. Thank you for the meal.

This day was a special celebration at our house, so even dad was there. After the celebration, it was time for lunch. We decided to go to our favorite nearby restaurant. Dad was with us, so we splurged a bit more than usual (lol). We had fried rice, dumplings, and other delicious dishes. It was a feast!

Visited on November 24, 2019 (Sunday) at around 11:30 am. Couldn't find parking in front of the store, so parked in the long plaza at the back where there was plenty of space to park several cars. The restaurant was almost full when I entered, no seats at the counter, and I was seated at a small table for two. It felt a bit awkward being alone when it's crowded. The middle table was already shared by others, so I wondered if I would have to share my table too when another person arrived.
Ordered Spicy Miso Ramen for 780 yen and a Fried Rice set for 330 yen. It took a bit of time for the food to be served, about 20 minutes. The Fried Rice portion was surprisingly large, not like the mini size for 330 yen, but more like a regular size for 650 yen with lots of ingredients and a nice texture. The Spicy Miso Ramen had a mild spiciness and a light miso flavor. The noodles were not as thin as the ultra-thin noodles in Kushiro, but more on the thinner side, not too thick either. The broth was not too salty or oily, giving a light and tasty impression. It was delicious. Next time, I'll try the Cantonese noodles. The meal was satisfying.

When you're unsure about what to have for lunch on a day off, it's always a visit to our favorite restaurant, Goumiya. The menu is the usual selection, so you can feel at ease. In particular, my daughter, who loves trying out different foods, likes the Char-mayo Don here the best (*´з`). The seasoning and amount of mayonnaise are just right.

I went to Men-dokoro Goumika for the first time. I had been curious about it for a while. There was one group of people waiting outside the store. I waited for about 10 minutes before being seated. I ordered the fried rice set. Both the fried rice and ramen were a proper serving size, and I was satisfied. And, both were delicious! The flavor was a bit salty, but that's just personal preference. I would definitely go back if I have the chance.

My sisters' families left, making the house feel both relieved and lonely. I find myself wanting to come back here when I return to my daily routine. The Charumayo here has a perfect balance, and my daughter loves it too. I opted for my usual miso ramen this time. Coming here always brings a sense of calm.

How surprising, I came back just 1 month later (laughs). It's a bit too soon, isn't it (laughs). But on this day, I tried something different from usual and ordered the fried rice. The portion of this fried rice is like a large serving even though it's not labeled as such. Honestly, after finishing it, my stomach was completely full! It's delicious, but (laughs).

Returning to a ramen restaurant within my safe living area (*´з`), I occasionally visit here. I always order the same thing. Of course, it's the miso ramen. It's delicious. And the char-mayo here is just the right amount of mayo and tasty (*´з`).

It's just a photo, but... I had my first Goumiya of the year (*´ω`*). I usually get my usual miso ramen, but this time I tried it with the popular chashu mayo donburi that I've been ordering at various ramen shops lately (*´∀`)♪ It has a tangy sauce that's similar to teriyaki and it's really flavorful and delicious♪ Of course, my daughter ate more than half of it (lol)
