I finally got to visit the sandwich shop that I've been curious about for a while. I was in a hurry to get home, so this time I got takeout. The staff's smile was so lovely. The Nick Daddy, a popular menu item, was recommended to me. It cost 1,480 yen, which is a bit pricey. The meat! The cheese! Served with pickles too! This greasy and indulgent feeling is just irresistible. They said it's also delicious with honey drizzled on top... oh no, I can't resist! It's a sinful taste! Thank you for the meal. I want to diet, but regardless, I will definitely be back for more.

I was interested in this place after seeing it on TV a few months ago, and finally got to visit it on this day. The restaurant was quite empty, so I was able to walk in easily. I ordered the "Bacon and Egg" sandwich, which was recommended by the staff as the smallest option. I also got an iced coffee, but it was too bitter for my taste. The sandwich looked really appetizing, with bacon and cheese cooked on a griddle and sandwiched between selected bread slices. However, the taste did not live up to my expectations. It was too greasy and heavy, even though it came with pickles and mustard on the side. I only managed to eat half of it before feeling overwhelmed by the oiliness. The potato side dish was cute but also oily. The focus on cheese in the sandwich was evident, but I wish there had been more balance in flavors and less grease. Overall, it seemed like a place that prioritizes presentation over taste. If this restaurant were located in areas like Horie or America-mura, it might attract more tourists, but I personally wouldn't go back for a second visit.

I finally got to visit the restaurant I've been wanting to go to since it opened. I ordered the BLT and the mash baby to share with my husband. We also got a hot tea and a hot cafe latte. The mash baby was quite oily, so sharing it with the light BLT was the right choice. It might be too much for one person to eat the mash baby alone! But both dishes were delicious.

Daddy ¥1280BLT ¥950
A sandwich shop near Shinsaibashi! Takeout is also available. I shared Daddy and BLT with a friend, half each! Daddy is apparently the most popular sandwich at the shop, with plenty of cheese. It was incredibly delicious (;_;) So much cheese! It also had beef in it and the flavor was rich, so splitting it in half was just right! After eating two pieces, I started to feel a little full. BLT, on the other hand, had lettuce and tomato, so it was lighter compared to Daddy, but it was also incredibly tasty! I thought I could enjoy eating two pieces of BLT more than Daddy ^^ The takeout box is cute too, and if the weather is nice, it seems like a good idea to eat in the nearby park.

Ordered a mashed baby sandwich for ¥980, lemonade for ¥350, and apple juice for ¥300. I was planning to use it for a picnic, but suddenly it started raining, so I ended up eating in. The bear mascot was cute, and the staff's uniforms were also cute! And the sandwich was delicious... If I have a picnic this year, I will definitely come back here to buy the sandwich again.

I watched a dreamy sandwich on TV that looked delicious, so I visited the bright shop owner I saw on TV. The shop was small with only 3 tables. I thought I might have to wait in line, but I was able to enter without waiting. I ordered the popular Big Daddy (shredded meat with lots of cheese) and BLT (Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese). I could see them cooking on a hot plate, working efficiently. A few minutes later, the sandwiches were ready, and they were quite big, cut in half. The first bite was delicious, but the heavy taste made it difficult to finish the second one. I managed to eat it, but my companion gave up. There was a lot of cheese, making it too much for older people. In hindsight, I thought it would have been better to share an egg and cheese sandwich. The idea of a grilled sandwich is good, and hot sandwiches are not common, so they could improve the menu with different options.

I visited this place for the second time since last summer⭐︎ I had been wanting to eat here occasionally, but the trauma of waiting for an hour in the scorching heat last year made it difficult for me to come back. Recently, it was featured on TV and I felt the urge to eat here again! I heard they open around 11 am, so I arrived right at opening time and was the first customer. Each dish is cooked on a hot plate, so it takes a bit of time to be served, but the freshly made cheese trolley is truly delicious. It's addictively tasty, so I will definitely go back! The Halloween limited menu was a perfect match with shrimp and tartar sauce. They also have Uber delivery, but the menu is limited, so I recommend dining in. Personally, I was looking forward to the smiley potato, but unfortunately, it wasn't available this time (;ω;). I wonder when it disappeared. That was the only disappointment. Please bring it back⭐︎

The quality of the taste was really high. I didn't add extra cheese, but it felt like there was plenty of cheese already in it! The accompanying potatoes were also delicious, and the lemonade was very tasty too! It was worth waiting in line to eat. I want to eat it again.

This sandwich, priced at 980 yen including tax, seemed to have a limited-time flavor! I went around 1 pm on a weekday, and two out of the four seats were already taken. Just after I entered, another group arrived, so it became full. It was a close call. You can put on as much honey as you want as it is self-service, so I put a lot and ate it. It was delicious - it had not only mushrooms but also shimeji mushrooms.

"Hi!SandWich" Good morning, it's Taiki. I realized this is my 99th post, coincidentally matching the jersey number of Orix's Sugimoto player. The restaurant I'm introducing this time is "Hi!SandWich," where I had a meal before going to watch baseball at Kyocera Dome. It's a 3-minute walk from Nishi-Nagahori, and they also offer takeout. The interior was stylish and filled with mostly young couples in their early 20s. We ordered the "Mash Baby," a sandwich with mushrooms, potatoes, bacon, and cheese. While waiting for our order, I noticed that the song "Bustin' Loose" was playing in the background. It turns out the owner loves the movie "Chef" and has created a similar atmosphere. The sandwich arrived with pickles and orange slices, and the flavor was well-balanced with a nice mushroom aroma. Although I expected a more punchy taste, it leaned towards a refined cafe style. Overall, it was a delicious sandwich that I would recommend. I look forward to trying a meatier sandwich next time. The total cost was 980 yen. #HiSandwich #sandwich #OsakaGourmet #OsakaLunch #OsakaCafe #NishiNagahori #KyoceraDome

Long time no see! I went to eat a high-calorie sandwich for the first time in a while. It's my third time eating it, but my first time eating it in the restaurant. When I first tried it, I was so impressed by the deliciousness of this place. The Nick Daddy for ¥1,280 is the most popular item, and it's my personal favorite. It has tender meat and a huge amount of cheese! It's super high in calories, but I feel like indulging in it once in a while. This time, I felt like there was more cheese compared to the last time I had it, but it was still delicious. The Wannpaku Sand for ¥1,100 (limited time until 1/28) has a soft texture like a tuna corn and spinach gratin. It also has cheese but it's more subtle compared to the Nick Daddy. It seems like a taste that children would love. I had it around 11:30, and because it's high in calories, it kept me full until around 8:00! It's a very popular place, so there's often a line, but it's worth the wait to eat there. It's so indulgent that I can only eat it occasionally, but I can't wait to eat it again soon. Next time, I want to try the Mash Baby. ♥

Teppanyaki-finished sandwich. It caught my attention when I saw it on TV. The sandwich was in a relatively good price range, but the place was full and seemed busy with takeout orders as well. I ordered the mushroom and bacon sandwich. They cook it on a hot plate, so the bread is crispy, the cheese is gooey, and it sounded incredibly delicious, but the taste was mostly just cheese. The sliced potatoes were a nice accent.

The honey in the bear-shaped container is cute! The interior of the store has a lovely atmosphere, and the staff work in a relaxed style. It's a bit far from the station, so be prepared for a bit of a walk. The menu is quite extensive, so I had trouble deciding! The water with lemon was a nice touch. The sandwich was filling and delicious, and they also offer takeout!

【Date of Visit】 5/28/2021 Lunch
【Order】 NickDaddy, Iced Coffee
Today's lunch was at Nishi-Nagahori. I had been curious about this restaurant since seeing it featured on a TV show before. I chose the NickDaddy. The thinly shredded meat with plenty of hot cheese - it was bound to be delicious. I enjoyed it with honey for a change of taste. While fancy dishes are nice, I also love high-calorie foods like this. The price is a bit high, but for cheese lovers, this is a must-visit spot. Thank you for the meal.

Hot sandwiches made on an iron plate✧︎*。▫️mash baby for 980 yen (iced tea for 350 yen). I've always wanted to try this cheese overload sandwich, so I finally got the chance while I was out doing something else. I managed to take a picture of it being cooked, and just looking at it made my mouth water. It's the epitome of high calories lol. It's filled with plenty of mushrooms sautéed in butter, bacon, sliced potatoes, and an excessive amount of cheese, then grilled to perfection♥♥ Finished off with a generous sprinkling of Parmesan cheese. The aroma of butter is irresistible, and biting into the piping hot sandwich is just heavenly. So much cheeseee _(┐「ε:)_ It's exactly as I imagined, and it was unbelievably delicious. Seriously. It's too high in calories to eat often, but I definitely want to have it again. From the moment I took the first bite, I knew I'd be coming back for more!! #Yuichin'sRecommendedEats ♥ By the way... I devoured both sandwiches in no time lol ← They're quite filling, so you can also take them to go, which my friends did. The packaging is cute and the staff were very friendly♥ Be sure to check it out (*´˘`*) ===========

Ever since I found out that there is a hot sandwich shop in Nambori 4-chome where they cook the sandwiches on a hot plate, I have been going there multiple times for takeout. However, I finally learned that I can make a reservation for takeout, so I was able to purchase the MummyCheese cheese sandwich and the BLT bacon and egg sandwich. The cheese in the MummyCheese sandwich almost seems to melt away, and the texture of the cheese and hot sandwich together made me shed tears. As a pizza lover, I quickly realized that it was like a combination of "calzone" and "panzerotti" but with a different texture due to the toast. It reminded me of the hot sandwiches my mother used to make for breakfast when I was a child. It seems that you have to make a reservation in order to purchase these sandwiches.

I watched the movie "Chef" and felt like eating a Cuban sandwich. Around the same time, I found an article about this restaurant in a free paper inside the Osaka Metro, where the owner mentioned that they opened the shop inspired by the movie "Chef" and the Cuban sandwich. When we arrived at the restaurant around 11:30, there were already quite a few customers waiting, as it was packed since the opening at 11 am. Unlike the food truck in the movie, this was a physical store where you could see the ingredients being cooked right in front of you, like a show. We ordered the "Nick Daddy" with slow-cooked beef for 8 hours, and the "Mash Baby" with mushrooms, bacon, and potatoes. Both sandwiches were filled with generous amounts of ingredients and cheese, pressed and cooked on a griddle. They were quite large, almost twice the size of a Croque Monsieur. Taking a big bite and savoring the flavors was a delightful experience. The bacon, potatoes, and beef in the "Mash Baby" paired well with the cheese in the "Nick Daddy." However, the overwhelming taste of cheese dominated the overall flavor, leaving a strong cheese aftertaste. Even with a drizzle of honey and a dash of Tabasco for flavor variation, the lingering taste was still "cheese." While the generous portion size was a highlight, I wished for a Cuban sandwich that could end with a more balanced flavor profile, rather than just a "cheese overload."

Finally! I visited a grill sandwich specialty shop that I wanted to go to because their Instagram was so lovely. They cook the sandwiches right in front of you on a hot plate, so the wait time is enjoyable. Even before eating, the sandwiches already looked and smelled delicious. I was very satisfied not only with the cute interior of the shop but also with the high quality of the products! And most importantly, the staff were amazing!! I enjoyed the bottled lemonade, shrimp sandwich, and beef sandwich. I recommend adding jalapenos as a topping.

I had some time before my training session, so I decided to check out Hi! SandWich, a sandwich shop that had caught my attention. I was intrigued by their grilled sandwich (Cuban sandwich) loaded with cheese. As a cheese lover, I couldn't resist the temptation and decided to indulge in some bread, even though I was in the middle of a training period and avoiding wheat flour (well, I do take supplements). It was truly a forbidden food for me.
When I arrived, I was greeted by a lively atmosphere with a hot griddle sizzling away in the heat. The shop had a certain charm, with an Instagram-worthy foreign man making an appearance, but it was actually the cute female staff who were doing the cooking. The sandwich options included the simple Mommy Cheese with just cheese, the Nick Daddy with beef, Bacon Egg, and BLT as regular menu items. I opted for the seasonal Avocado and Shrimp sandwich, as I tend to go for unique combinations. However, this time, the cheese flavor was not as prominent as I had hoped. The Avocado and Shrimp combination was solid (minus the lettuce, in my opinion), and it was tasty, but it didn't stand out as much as I had expected. I was craving that overflowing cheese experience, so I was a bit disappointed in that aspect. Next time, I will definitely go for the Mommy Cheese to satisfy my cheese cravings.
The sandwiches were served cut in half, so I decided to eat one in the shop and take the other one home. The staff kindly packed the takeaway sandwich for me, showing that they were used to handling takeout orders. Their friendly service was much appreciated.

In Horie, I finally got to try hi! sandwich that I've been wanting to visit. Despite the pandemic, there was still a long line. The shop is small with only about three tables. Most people seem to get takeout. I got a simple sandwich with just mummy cheese. It may be simple, but it was rich and delicious. The generous amount of cheese topped with honey was the ultimate calorie monster. It was so good. Thank you for the meal!
