I headed straight to the restaurant from the airport in search of breakfast. I arrived at the shop at 9:30 am, only to find out that breakfast had just ended in front of me. They started distributing meal tickets at 10 am, and lunch service began at 10:30 am. I was the first in line for lunch, but my number was 71, and they served breakfast for around 70 people. While waiting, I bought souvenirs for my colleagues to pass the time. Before I knew it, it was already 10:30 am, and my number was called, so I entered the restaurant and sat at the counter. I was surprised to see that the ordering was done through a touch panel, but the staff kindly assisted me. The mentaiko (spicy cod roe) was all-you-can-eat. The takana (pickled mustard greens) was also all-you-can-eat, but you had to request it, so don't just wait, ask the staff for some delicious takana! I ordered the sashimi set for 1700 yen. It may seem a bit pricey, but considering the freshness and amount of sashimi, it's quite reasonable. The squid, yellowtail, sea bream, salmon, and shrimp were all fresh and delicious, especially when paired with the mild sweetness of the ama no to soy sauce. It felt like eating "real" fish, unlike the conveyor belt sushi I usually have. Perhaps they were caught in the Genkai Sea? I'm not sure, but they were definitely among the best sashimi I've ever had. As you can see in the photos, the mentaiko and takana are served in jars, and both are unlimited and go well with white rice. I had three bowls of rice with mentaiko and takana. I put the sashimi on top of the rice to make a seafood bowl. It wasn't sushi rice, but it made a quick and delicious seafood bowl, and I ended up eating four bowls of rice. I was completely satisfied. However, when I was on my third bowl of rice with mentaiko, I started feeling discomfort around my right ankle, and after finishing my meal, a cold breeze passed through my ankle area twice. Uh-oh, I had already exceeded 120% of my uric acid intake and 200% of my salt intake, surpassing the Genkai Sea. I had no choice but to leave the restaurant with my aching right foot after finishing four bowls of rice, one refill of mentaiko, takana, one refill of miso soup, and finishing all the sashimi. The most delicious sashimi of the day for me was the salmon, even though I usually don't like salmon. It's strange that the salmon I don't like was the most delicious. This restaurant is a place I'd like to visit again, as they only open in Kyushu every three months. How about you all? Don't worry about your uric acid levels, just eat until it hurts!
