I visited a new Italian restaurant near the Akahori shopping street. It seems like they renovated an old house, as the entrance has a high ceiling, which is stylish but also a bit scary in terms of earthquake resistance (lol). I chose the most expensive course for 12,000 yen that day. The flavors were very edgy and wonderful. It felt like a fusion of Italian cuisine. The sommelier's wine pairing was also delicate and lovely. I went to a super famous French restaurant for lunch that day, but this place was even better (secret).

Il Chentriano, with a stylish atmosphere renovated from a machiya (traditional townhouse), served a creamy sweet potato potage with homemade crispy grissini that I couldn't resist. The first half of the meal featured seafood dishes paired with a smooth wine selection, but I found myself needing more variety and opted for their al dente homemade pasta, which was deliciously chewy. The red shrimp sauce was so tasty that I ended up dipping bread into it. The cheese-filled duck and chestnut smoked potato ravioli was a hit, and the red wine perfectly complemented the generous portion of tender main meat dish, which I devoured completely despite being full. It was a satisfying lunch experience.

We made an online reservation about a week ago and visited with 3 people on Saturday at 5:30 pm. The restaurant has a stylish old Japanese house atmosphere. Besides us, there were only two groups of 2 people each. We started with a bottle of Franciacorta. For the second bottle, we consulted with the sommelier and chose a Chianti Classico. All the food was delicious and the wine was reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

At the counter, you can enjoy conversations with the sommelier and manager while savoring each dish, which is a unique pleasure that you can't experience at a regular table. My favorite is the "Naniwa Pork Tonno," the tonnato sauce is excellent and very delicious! I have added this restaurant to my list of places to revisit.

I don't mind paying the service charge, but I wish the staff would smile more. One drink for 1,000 yen is too expensive. Being a housewife is tough. The portion size of the dishes is small, they come out quickly but lack flavor. I didn't feel the Michelin quality with my five senses. I definitely won't be coming back. Two people for lunch with one drink cost 14,000 yen. I didn't feel satisfied with the amount of food. All that remained was the spiciness.

A friend recommended this place as delicious, so I made a reservation and went. It was my first time, but my friend had been there for both dinner and lunch and enjoyed it. There were three of us, including that friend. The location might be a bit hard to find if it's your first time. I had the lunch set for 7480 yen, and I also ordered a soft drink for 990 yen. My friend left it up to the chef to choose the dishes and wine. Overall, the food was delicious, but the portions were small. We all wished there was at least twice as much pasta to eat. My two friends felt the same way. If the portions were bigger, we would definitely come back again! The total bill was 9148 yen. Thank you for the meal.

It is highly rated and has been selected as one of the top 5000 restaurants on Tabelog. The restaurant has a charming interior with a white-based color scheme, making it a great choice for dates or girls' night out.
I recently tried their 8-course lunch set, which started with a creamy soup combining the sweetness of lily bulbs and the umami of kelp dashi. This was followed by a refreshing amuse-bouche of sea bream and red core radish with a hint of acidity, and a rich dish of hairy crab and cauliflower. The sautéed sea bream with garlic sauce and the tagliolini pasta with flavorful oysters were both outstanding, and the perfectly tender wagyu beef main course was a highlight.
The restaurant creatively incorporates traditional ingredients with original touches, offering a delightful dining experience. I highly recommend visiting Il Centrino to enjoy their delicious dishes. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I went to Il Centrino for dinner! The lunch last time was so delicious! I regret not coming earlier! So I was looking forward to dinner. Started with a lily root soup, so comforting with a gentle dashi broth. Buri, red core daikon, clams, chrysanthemum greens, garlic - so good! The garlic sauce was delicious! I had it all with baguette. Kue, daikon, lardo - the texture of the kue and cooked daikon was amazing! Tagliolini, rabbit, porcini - so delicious! The portion was great! White truffle, Jerusalem artichoke, anchovy, egg yolk - amazing aroma, it was mind-blowing! I added more white truffle at an additional cost! It's my Christmas present to myself. Ezo venison, raspberry, potato, spinach - so tender! I finished it all in no time. Mont Blanc was also very delicious today! I have work tomorrow, so I asked for less wine (just started working, you know). The buri, kue, tagliolini were all delicious, but the white truffle with egg yolk, anchovy, Jerusalem artichoke was incredibly delicious! The balance was perfect! I came here for lunch on a special day and I was excited because I had been wanting to come here for a while. The appetizers were also stylish and all the dishes were delicious. The sautéed sea bream with celeriac in Américaine sauce was amazing with a rich depth of flavor. The tagliolini with oysters and karasumi (bottarga) had a delicious broth and was excellent. The wine selection was also top-notch. I was very satisfied with the lunch and I definitely want to come back for dinner next time. A definite repeat visit for me.
