Hello, this is Okahiro! I encountered a delightful Turkish ice cream shop and the manager's shop in Dotonbori, Osaka. It is located on the Namba side of the shopping street, not crossing the Glico Dotonbori. I ordered a chocolate soft serve for 400 yen. The (probably) Turkish manager performs a lively performance and talk (interacting & teasing) in front of you while skillfully mixing the ice cream, making it fun to eat. The sticky Turkish ice cream is also enjoyable to eat. It's a recommended shop in Dotonbori.

Arrived at Dotonbori for lunch, finished eating and shopping, and it was time for dessert. We were guided to Pierre Loti Cafe for Turkish ice cream by my daughter's husband, who has been to Osaka many times due to work and knows his way around. Even in the midst of the pandemic, the crowds in the city were overwhelming for us country folks. After stopping by Kani Doraku and the Nike shop, we decided to backtrack to find the Turkish ice cream. We avoided the crowded main streets and took the back alleys. When we arrived at Pierre Loti Cafe, the takoyaki shops around were all crowded with lines, but there was no line here, and no staff in sight. I wondered if it wasn't popular. We looked at the menu at the storefront, and a Turkish-looking staff member appeared and took our order for a 400 yen Turkish ice cream. The performance began as soon as we ordered. As the performance started, spectators surrounded us and a line started forming, so it seemed like everyone was waiting to see what was happening. The performance of not being able to get the ice cream easily didn't last as long as I had seen on YouTube, and surprisingly, we got the ice cream quite quickly. The Turkish ice cream seller is a pro. Maybe he calculated the time to enjoy the performance while considering the customers' frustration. It was a fun experience, and the unique chewy texture of the Turkish ice cream was worth trying in Dotonbori, especially if you're hesitant about the long lines for takoyaki.

While walking around the Namba area, it was really hot and I felt like eating ice cream, so I stopped by this shop nearby. It's located in a shopping street in Dotonbori. The shop has a vibe of an ice cream shop you would find in the streets of Turkey. I ordered vanilla ice cream. When I placed my order, the staff started a lively performance. The Dondurma ice cream was thick and rich, and it was incredibly delicious on a hot day. It's not cheap, but personally I love Dondurma so I would like to buy it again if I pass by the area.

I got hooked on a 600 yen stand-up comedian live show at ZAZA in the basement of Kuidaore Taro's building during a business trip, so I brought my family to see it. We had some time before the show started, so we decided to grab some food and drinks. I wanted to order quickly, but the performance had already begun (tears). I ordered a 400 yen chocolate cone, and the staff spun the stick around while handing me the cone, then they took it back a few times. It seemed like they were going to put the ice cream on it, but they kept taking it back. Holding the cone with bare hands and taking it back multiple times means that someone else will eat that cone, which might cause a complaint in Tokyo, but in the lively atmosphere of Sennichimae, we just chuckled and let it go. They were trying their best, so it would be rude to get annoyed. I heard that making this Turkish ice cream "Dondurma" requires a national qualification for ice cream artisans, but I'm not sure if that's true. Keep up the good work to promote cultural exchange between Japan and Turkey.

Yes, it's in Namba! This Turkish ice cream shop is located around the corner of the Sennichimae shopping street. There is probably a person who seems to be from Turkey running the shop alone. They entertain customers with a performance that can be both interesting and irritating to some. I received a compliment saying, "Your reactions are great, so it's rewarding!" The ice cream has a unique stretchy texture typical of Turkish ice cream, and the flavor is good. The mysterious chocolate taste makes it a must-try!

I have loved Turkish ice cream since it became popular. I feel like eating it regularly. Even on a cold day, it is so delicious that it blows away the cold. The performance of the staff is also enjoyable. It has a rich vanilla flavor with a refreshing sweetness. It has a mochi-like chewy texture and is incredibly delicious!

You can walk all the way to the back of the Senbayashi shopping street and just before reaching Dotonbori, you'll find this shop selling Turkish ice cream with live demonstrations. The menu includes vanilla, matcha, strawberry, and chocolate, each priced at 400 yen. After choosing your flavor and paying, the staff will start kneading the Turkish ice cream in a metal container with a long metal rod, then they'll scoop it onto a cone, spin it around, and play tricks like pretending to not give it to you or just giving you an empty cone. They also strike a pose if you point your camera at them, showing great service spirit. They also have the typical Osaka humor, saying "That'll be 400 million yen." The size of the ice cream may vary, but even with a generous portion, 400 yen seems quite expensive for ice cream. However, if you consider the performance and entertainment value included in the price, it might be worth it. Personally, I found the chocolate flavor to be the most delicious.

A 4-year-old child in the center of Dotonbori shouts that they want to eat ice cream. They ended up trying Turkish ice cream, which comes in chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla flavors for 400 yen each. They ordered vanilla this time. After ordering, there was a performance for about 3 minutes. The ice cream was stretched and twisted in a fun way. The child was very excited. The vanilla ice cream had a light flavor, not as rich as expected. It was a fun experience with great service from the friendly staff.

Turkish ice cream~♪♪ I love it (^O^☆♪ I always stop by after visiting the market sushi♪♪ Today is Sunday, and there was a surprising long line of young people at a unique shop! @0@ I couldn't help but laugh. On the other hand, Korean kids were going into rare places all over the place! I felt that Japan's economy may be slowing down, but the solid goodness of Japanese people remains. However, their agility seems to have decreased compared to Korean youths. They only go to safe and familiar places, and don't challenge themselves in various ways to gain resilience through experience. The momentum is significantly lower compared to Korean youths. Hang in there, Japan♡ Just like Turkish ice cream, keep persisting and becoming stronger~♪♪ For that, you should eat this♡ It's better to eat it, haha.

We stopped by this shop to add a touch of flair during a brief moment of travel while guiding a companion in Osaka. For over 10 years, this place has been selling two types of Turkish ice cream - vanilla and chocolate - with a performance included, all for 400 yen at a single table. The performance, which can be found on YouTube by searching the shop's name, is somewhat overwhelming with its persistent movements, leaving us with a wry smile. As for the taste, it reminds me of the Showa era when people were told to "chew their milk". The soft serve ice cream has a firm texture with a slight stickiness, almost like it disappears as you chew it with your teeth rather than melting on your tongue. It's not overly sweet, but it has a strong presence that provides a satisfying experience. My companion seemed very pleased, smiling with half amusement. I'm glad they enjoyed it.

I think they have been selling Turkish ice cream at this place for over 10 years. The guy in the photo looks like the same guy on the sign, but he seems to have gotten rounder with age. Regardless, since the first time I bought it, his performance hasn't changed, always showing movements that seem like you can grab the ice cream but can't, and always giving generous service. This Turkish ice cream, called Dondurma, stretches well so it has a texture like chewing gum, a bit unusual. It feels crunchy but not really. Personally, I like it, so whenever I pass by here, I always have some.

I wanted to make my friends from Shikoku and Kanto happy, so I stopped by this place before going on the Dotombori cruise. It's Pierre Loti Cafe in Sennichimae, a fun Turkish ice cream shop. The names are always so long and hard to remember, but it's okay because they're known for their Turkish ice cream in Sennichimae, right? They have chocolate, melon, and vanilla flavors, and my friend chose melon, so I went with chocolate. It stretches a lot, thanks to a spice-like ingredient called salep from the bulb of a plant in the orchid family. They have various performance routines, like suddenly turning it upside down, pretending to take away the cone before handing it to you, or just giving you the cone. They take their time to play around with you. But, we took too long and it started melting because it was a hot day, so we had to eat it quickly. Turkish ice cream is so refreshing and delicious. I also like spicy ice cream from Turkish restaurants.
