The display of various food samples at the storefront is very tempting. The dish was delicious with the combination of broth, egg, and meat. I also used to eat the "other people's bowl" here frequently, which tastes the same. It feels natural to be nostalgic about the food. The udon here also has a unique taste with tempura flakes already included. I couldn't help but wonder if this place sets the base taste for Osaka's udon. I will definitely come back here many more times.

What was served didn't quite look like braised pork, and I couldn't see any fat, so I thought it might be tuna braised. I like the fatty part of pork, but when I ate it, it was delicious. I felt like my perspective had broadened to include lightly seasoned braised pork. By the way, there were many salarymen and middle-aged men on their way home from work. I wonder why middle-aged men gather to drink together. Well, that's fine. It was crowded, and the floor staff were bustling around. Most of them seemed to be Asian exchange students. I planned to go home by subway but was drawn in by a sign offering all-you-can-drink for 90 minutes for 1,000 yen! The menu was extensive, cheap, quick, and delicious. The speed of service is fast, so you can quickly dine even when you're short on time. A highly recommended menu item is the rolled omelette: it's a classic dish with a fluffy and nostalgic taste that makes you want to keep eating. I became the second guest of the day. As soon as I sat at the table in the back, my cigarette sensor went off. Two middle-aged men sitting three seats away were smoking. They had just entered the restaurant a few seconds ago, and both of them were smokers. I felt extremely angry and disappointed, which brought down my mood. In this situation, I had to eat quickly and leave the restaurant. I asked the staff, "What is the fastest menu you have?" The result was the mixed vegetable udon set meal for 700 yen. It was indeed fast. The udon was served much quicker than the bowl dishes ordered by the previous customers. And the portion of the udon was generous. The broth was distinctly Kansai-style with a good balance of kombu and bonito flakes. It was delicious. The noodles were Osaka-style, pale and soft. They lacked firmness but had a smooth texture that was easy to swallow. Toppings included tempura scraps, green onions, fish cake, and seaweed. The mixed vegetable rice was cooked with less water, resulting in a slightly firm texture. The soy sauce aroma was nostalgic and pleasant. I finished the meal in no time and paid quickly with PayPay. The izakaya directly connected to the station is very convenient. Its location is useful for both lunch and dinner. However, I hope they make the lunchtime smoke-free.
