I found a surprisingly good pizza place that I had overlooked until now. It opened in 2013. They use a Stefano oven and the chimney was made by master craftsman Miyamura. I ordered the DOC pizza and it was really good even though it was my first time there, which made me happy. They use Caputo flour and the Cornicione is not too high, with a slightly salty taste and a delicious sweetness in the dough. The bottom of the pizza was cooked perfectly. The basil, grown by the owner Sekita's father, had a strong aroma that was pleasant. They only serve pizza for lunch, but the dinner menu changes. I heard that the owner was also at Bisbocca in Hiroo over a decade ago, so I have high expectations! I will definitely go back for dinner as well.

It's been a while since I visited this Michelin-listed restaurant in Gyobashi (*^^*). Today, I chose the "Buffalo Mozzarella" DOC. It's amazing how the cheese upgrades to buffalo mozzarella can make a difference~!? I always wonder if this is the recipe when I order DOC. Maybe the fresh tomatoes are piled high to compete with the cheese in a Margherita pizza, leading to this result? Sorry for my ignorance (¯―¯٥). Nevertheless, the fresh tomatoes when warmed up, bursting with juice, are incredibly delicious (*゚▽゚*). The DOC here may be a bit difficult to eat, but it's juicy, the cheese is delicious, and overall, it's quite good! The set comes with a salad. In these times, price increases are inevitable. (There are pizzerias that charge over ¥2,500 for a single pizza). Definitely worth trying out DOC and expanding your pizza horizons. This is my fourth visit. We ordered octopus carpaccio and four types of Italian omelette pizza. All the dishes were cute and the pizzas were all delicious, but my favorite was the anchovy, cheese, olive, and tomato pizza. The Bismarck pizza with egg was also delicious. Lastly, we tried the Pomodoro pizza without cheese, and it was tasty with a strong garlic flavor. Even without cheese, it was really delicious. The dry ginger ale drink was also very tasty and highly recommended. I recommend driving to Yukuhashi just to visit this place!

I heard there is a delicious pizza place in Yukuhashi, so I went there for lunch. I ordered the Felice pizza, which has tomato sauce, mozzarella, olives, ham, and anchovies, and upgraded to Bufala mozzarella for an additional 500 yen. The pizza, with its wheaty aroma and various fragrances of toppings, was served after a rocket salad. With each bite, I enjoyed the perfect thickness of the pizza, the rich flavors of cheese, tomato sauce, and anchovies, making it a big hit. The chewy texture of the pizza crust, cornicione, was also excellent, making it feel like I could eat as many slices as I want. This pizza makes me want to go to Yukuhashi just to eat it.

This is my third visit to the excellent pizzeria in Yukihashi City. There are many different types of pizzas available, and they are all delicious. The marinated octopus is also outstanding. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is charming, and the plates are said to be from Italy, with lovely colors and designs. Eating freshly baked, crispy pizza is the best. It is definitely worth traveling from far away to eat here.

A pizza place featured in the Michelin Guide. This time, I had the "Dock" pizza with four types of cheese, buffalo mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, and basil. It was so delicious! The fresh basil, sweet tomatoes, and rich, milky cheese were excellent. You can enjoy the cheese pizza as it is, or drizzle some maple syrup for even more deliciousness! This popular restaurant was quickly filled up on the day I visited, so I recommend making a reservation.

At 12:45, two groups of customers visited the restaurant for takeout. The parking lot was a bit hard to find, but the staff kindly directed us - it's behind a small building to the left of the signal near the Yukuhashi station. It was our first time there, and we enjoyed watching the Margherita pizza being made in the warm oven while having salad. The Napoli-style pizza had a delicious crispy yet chewy crust, topped with tasty mozzarella and tomato sauce. It's no wonder it's Michelin-approved.

When I first saw it on the map, I was surprised to find a Michelin-listed restaurant in this area. However, I learned that it is becoming a bedroom community for Kokura and Nakatsu, with a growing population. New houses are being built one after another. The restaurant has a cute red sign in front, and the interior is stylish. The pizza is not too big, with a thin crust. The cheese and toppings are very fresh, with a refined taste that is hard to come by in the Kanto region. I am grateful for the 1000 yen lunch. I always think that Italian food goes well with Western-style cuisine in Kyushu. There is parking available. They also sell French bread baked in the oven inside the store. I couldn't buy it this time due to other commitments, but it looked really delicious.

I visited Pizzeria Da Giorgio in Yukuhashi, which is listed in the Michelin Guide. The flour they use is Caputo Sacro Rosso. The crust is firm with a crispy surface, and the inside is not too fluffy, maybe due to the fermentation or baking technique. The mozzarella, whether buffalo or cow milk, has a good aroma and taste. The chef's skill is evident as he efficiently makes four pizzas on his own, showing his speed in shaping the dough and baking. Storing the dough on a wooden board also shows their attention to detail. All this for only 1000 yen including salad and drink (buffalo mozzarella costs an extra 500 yen) is truly surprising! The lunch menu offers a choice of pizza, salad, and a drink for 1000 yen (tax included). The pizza, baked in a traditional Italian oven, is incredibly delicious. The chewy texture of the dough, the crispy crust, and the perfect combination of cheese and tomato make it a top-notch dish. The offer of enjoying this pizza for 1000 yen is truly a great deal. Visited on a Sunday afternoon! The lunch menu is exactly 1000 yen!! Very reasonable♡ It includes salad, choice of pizza, and a drink. You can choose from about 8 types of pizza, and you can upgrade to buffalo mozzarella for an additional 500 yen. At the counter, you can see the pizza dough being shaped and baked. It wasn't exactly the twirling image I had in mind, but it was still fun (*´Д`*) The salad that came first is made with homemade vegetables, and the cheese and tangy dressing on top are delicious!! The awaited pizza is a nice size for one person to enjoy. Of course, it's delicious. The perfect crispy and chewy texture of the dough, the aroma, the saltiness of the cheese, the sweetness of the tomato...♡ We ended up chatting and staying longer than planned (^^)

Another great restaurant in Yukihashi! They import the dough from Italy and bake it in a special oven. The pizzas are cooked quickly and we didn't have to wait long even during the busy lunch hour. The lunch set includes pizza, salad, and a drink for only 1000 yen, which is a great deal. The salad was delicious with shaved cheese and tangy dressing that brought out the flavors of the ingredients. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the friendly staff were the best part. The father and son duo running the place were welcoming and the son efficiently made the pizzas. He is also a member of a cycling team and owns an Italian bike brand, just like me. I had a great time chatting with them during lunch. I look forward to visiting again for dinner. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The lunch set (pizza, salad, drink) is 1000 yen. I ordered Margherita, Funghi (mushroom pizza), and a drink of iced coffee and orange juice. The Margherita pizza has a thick crust that I like, with a nice fragrance and a chewy texture. The flavor is simple and well-balanced overall. The Funghi pizza has a strong umami flavor from the mushrooms and a rich cheese taste. Both pizzas were delicious and easy to share for lunch. The portions were quite generous, and my friend and I were full by the second half. It would be nice if they had another small dish to prevent getting bored towards the end. The pizza lunch set is a good value with authentic pizzas, salad, and a drink included.

The best pizza I've ever had. I ordered the Margherita Bufala and Quattro Formaggi, both of which were incredibly delicious. Pizza can be a bit heavy, but the ones here are light and crispy. I could easily eat one whole pizza by myself (lol). I've also been here for lunch, and the lunch deals are really good. The restaurant is small, so you might need to make a reservation to get in. I will definitely be coming back.
